Time heals everything people say
It's been quite a time yet its still they're
They never specify the time it'll go away
Simply reassure it won't be more than one can bare
Many suns have risen and fallen
Yet still no answer as you said
Again for some time the skies will darken
Faced with the same silence I've come to dread
Don't expect the glowing of the sun to hit
But then again it would nice to feel it against my skin
If only you hadn't thrown your misfit
I wouldn't have to torture myself with what could've been
Crazy how a day of blessings is tinted
Filled with the memories of a lost day
One that is too far gone to be printed
All traces of it have been stripped away
Maybe next time, same day, after more time has passed
The skies won't be sad
Everything will be left in the past
Finally smiling because they've persevered through the bad
