Today is a another day of every year
Saying temporary goodbyes to our friends
Somehow the temporary stimulates my fear
It scares me how fast it all came to an end
Unfortunately actually having to let some people go
Can't see more people go away
Growing up is my biggest foe
Nothing at this point is okay
Still I'm trying my best to hold on
But everyday continues to be consumed by the dark
Countless days of staying up until dawn
Making his absence a painful mark
Can't bare to continue saying goodbyes
Scared that everything will change in a second
Creating nothing, but cloudy grey skies
Hope is slowly becoming something I don't reckon
One minute it was the there (the start) then it was gone (the end)
More words left unsaid with deeper secrets
Last day - today - proves the lack of brawn
Quietly shutting out the world, leaving behind crickets
New friends and memories are worth more than a tear
