Walking home from school Rachel listened as her friends droned on and on about how fantastic star wars was and why everyone should watch it. Kicking at a loose pebble she shifted her backpack to a more comfortable position on her back.

"Hello earth to Rachel, Rachel are you even listening?" Snapping her head up she looked at Tony who was waving his hand in front of her face.

"Wha-yes, sorry I'm listening." She said snapping back to reality. "What were you saying?"

Laughing, Tony smiled gorgeous white teeth flashing, "I was asking if you wanted to go see the new Star Wars movie with me."

"Oh, uh, I've never seen it." After she replied she internally facepalmed. Idiot! He was trying to ask you on a date!

"That's okay, Cara hasn't either. I'm just getting together a big group of friends to go see the new movie on opening night." He said smiling that gorgeous smile of his.

"Yeah, um, sure I'd be happy to join you guys." She said almost too quickly. Way to go genius, she chided herself, well at least it wasn't a date. Maybe I'll bring a book to read.

"Awesome!" He fist pumped the air, "I knew you'd say yes. You always do!" He said ruffling her short hair, "so, I'll see you Tuesday. Oh don't bother about buying a ticket, my dad has it covered." He said winking as he walked up to his house.

"I don't always say yes!" Rachel shouted after him, as he slammed the door behind him. "I know how to say 'no'."

As she walked home she thought about how often she said yes. There was the time with the chinchilla, the rabbit, and taking part as the designated driver. But, the more she thought about it, the more she realized that she always said yes. Maybe it was because she didn't want to offend someone or she was too bored. Wait, check that, she had said no to Ricky Evans when he'd randomly asked her to kiss him.

If she had paid more attention while walking she would have noticed the two men carrying a ladder up to her house. However, she was too wrapped up in her own thoughts of not saying no and the upcoming debate for school.

Lifting her head up too late she hit her head directly on the bar and slumped to ground holding onto her head still worrying about not saying 'no'.

That was how she found herself in a galaxy far, far away.
