Kid and Law are both enraged. They stand close together, battling on the long stretch of grass right behind the Main Castle. I don't know what either of them did to provoke the other. Perhaps they know each other and something happened which lead them to hate one another. I guess I won't ever know, Honestly, I really don't want to.

"Oi, (Y/N)!" Ussop says in a worried voice. "I think we should leave again."

I'm still furious after Sanji and Zoro's fight and the anger continues to build up more at the sight of Kid and Law fighting. Can anyone around here ever get peace? Being here for barely an hour has lead me to believe that it's impossible.

I stomp across the field, fury in my eyes. Ussop shouts at me to stop, but I don't listen. Normally, I'd find the sound of chaos to be amusing, but not today.

I have been forced to come here against my will for four years. It's preventing me from becoming a pirate and sailing off to sea with a loyal and trusting crew. I was forced to ride in a pink, feathery limo with two idiots who hate each other. Then, right after my arrival, a pair of idiot friends caused pandemonium. Now, I'm seeing the same two idiots from the ridiculous limo in a brawl, immediately after I ended the other. I am so not liking this place.

As I march across the grass, the two nincompoops don't notice me until I whack their heads painfully together. The both of them look up to glare at me.

"I'll kill you, (Y/N)!" Kid shouts.

"Oi, (Y/N)-ya," Law says, irritated. "What was that for?!"

"What was that for?!" I fume. "You two have just arrived here and are already trying to kill each other!"

"What do you expect?" Kid scowls. "Wait until our last year to rip each other's heads off? Hah, not a chance."

"I could do that right now." Law says, shooting daggers at Kid, lifting his tattooed hand.

"Shut up!" I scream at them.

"Stop yelling woman!" Kid shouts back.

"Well, then stop fighting!"

"We have stopped fighting!"

By now, both of us have tick marks and are glaring unforgivingly at one another. Finally, I pull back. "Don't make a ruckus when I'm around then," I huff.

"Why don't I just kill you now," Kid sneers.

"Just try," I retort.

"What's all this noise about?!" A voice shouts. We lift our heads and watch as an older man approaches us. He has a large sword on his back and piercing hawk eyes. I shudder under his sharp gaze.

"Who're you?" Kid spits out, annoyed.

"One of your teachers." The man shoots back.

Kid snorts. "Aren't you too old to be teaching?"

"I'm Dracule Mihawk. I teach swordplay around here." The man glares. "And the three of you will be issued detentions. We won't go easy on you just because you're new here."

"Why you—" Kid growls but is pulled back by Law.

"Not now, Eustass-ya." Law shakes his head disapprovingly.

"Let go of me." Kid demands, gruffly. Law doesn't listen but instead pushes him in the direction of one of the dorms. As my anger simmers down, it dawns on me that I don't have my papers. Confused, I start looking around, wondering where I placed themZ

"(Y/N)!" Ussop yells while running over to me. I squint and see that he's waving papers in his hands. "You forgot these!"

"Thanks, Ussop."

He hands me the papers, slightly out of breath from running. "What dorm are you staying in?"

I glance at one of my papers. "Castle A?"

Ussop immediately pales. "Um, (Y/N)? What did you, um, do to end up here?"

"Rather not say." I reply. "Why?"

"Because only the strongest, those who've done something really bad and those who are most wanted by the government, stay there." Ussop says, shaking in fear.

I frown. "All I did was blow up nine Marine ships." I mumble under my breath but Ussop doesn't appear to hear.

"Just how powerful are you?" He asks, his eyes still wide. "Sorry, but if I'm being honest, you don't look that strong or as if you'd commit a serious crime."

I sigh. "Honestly, I don't know how strong I am. I can't say that I'm extremely strong or really weak. It just depends on who my opponent is really."

"Well, anyway, good luck because you'll be needing it. Actually, my captain is there too. Maybe he'll protect you."

"Nah. I fine on my own, but thanks."

We both part ways and go to our dorms. I sigh an look up at Castle A, the dorm I'll be residing in for however long I'm here for. The building is the farthest from the Main Castle. With a determined look in my eyes, I start towards my destination.

I run as fast as I can, my breathing ragged. The ground rumbles beneath me as it starts to catch up.

I let out a screech as the floor under me collapses and I go tumbling down into darkness. I lay on debris, catching my breath, looking above me at it. It destroyed an entire hallway with its weight. Who knows what it'll do to me?

Suddenly, it starts laughing. "Why are you running from me?!" A tinge of hurt is evident in its voice.

"You're a crazy monster!" I yell. "What? Are you going to eat me next?"

"No!" He defends himself, unable to cross his chubby arms.

"Well, with the way you look, you probably are!" I shout back.

I watch in shock as he starts to deflate and jumps down swiftly. He puts his hand on his straw hat to keep it from flying off. He's actually skinny, but obviously strong. An X shaped scar goes across his chest along with a scar under his left eye. He surprisingly looks kind and innocent for a delinquent.

He pouts childishly. "I am not fat!"

I look at him in wonder. "H-how'd you do that?!"

He grins. "I'm a rubber man! I ate the Gum Gum Fruit."

"You've eaten a Devil Fruit?!" I exclaim.

"You're silly!" He laughs. "I already told you, didn't I?"

"Who are you?" I ask, standing up and dusting myself.

"I'm the future King of the Pirates!" He declares with confidence.

"I'm (Y/N)." I greet him hesitantly. "Future healer and pirate. I'll protect everything and everyone I can with my life!"

He laughs. "You and Chopper would get along well."

I freeze. "You know Chopper?"

"Of course! He's the doctor in my pirate crew!" He smiles. "How do you know him?"

"I met his roommate, Ussop." I reply. "He told me the same thing you did."

"Ussop?!" He exclaims in joy. "He's the sniper in my crew. Who else have you met?"

"Aren't Zoro and Sanji in your crew too?" I inquire.

"Yeah!" He shouts, smiling goofily.

"Your name?"

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy!" He states proudly.

"Do you know Eustass Kid or Trafalagar Law?" I ask.

His smile broadens. "Traffy and I are allies! We've known each other for a while. As for Kid, we don't know each other well, though we did meet in Sabaody... Are they both here now?"

"Yeah. They arrived with me and now the both of them are going to destroy this place with their fights." I roll my eyes. "Same with Zoro and Sanji. Anyway, why the hell were you chasing me around?!"

He crosses his arms and pouts again. "I wanted to meet you because you're new here."

"Then why in the world were you chasing me around in that form?!" I exclaim.

He shrugs. "I felt like it."

I glare. "You felt like it?! What kind of sorry excuse is that?"

Suddenly, he starts sniffing the air. His goofy smile appears and he screams. "Meat!" He grabs my arm. "Come on, (Y/N). It's dinner time!"

I sigh, but let him drag me up a flight of stairs and back to the main floor from where the ground crumbled, sending me flying downstairs. He pulls me out the front door and across the grass to the Main Castle where people pool in for dinner. I can't help but feel a tad bit intimidated by the castle and its authority.

Luffy yanks me inside and into a large dining hall. Hundreds of people fill tables and get in line for food. I can't stop my eyes from admiring the architecture of the grand room. For a place made for delinquents, it sure is better than normal Academies.

Luffy waves to a table. "Oi, mina!" He shouts, grinning. "Meet (Y/N). My new friend!" He pulls me towards the bunch of people. There are eight in all. including Ussop, Zoro, and Sanji. Ussop smiles and beside him sits a blue noses reindeer. I scream at the sight.

"What the hell is that?!" I shout.

Luffy looks at me confused. "Who?" He glances at the reindeer then bursts into laughter. "That's Chopper! Man, you really are silly!"

"Oi!" The reindeer speaks, offended. "Just because I'm a reindeer, it doesn't mean that you can insult me!"

Ussop nudges Chopper. "She's the one I told you about!"

Chopper'a demeanor immediately brightens. "You're a doctor too?!"

"Something along the lines, I guess."

"Amazing!" Chopper, exclaims. "In case you're wondering, I ate the Human Human fruit!"

"You ate a Devil Fruit too?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "How many Devil Fruit users are in your crew?"

"Four." He replies. "Including Luffy and I, Robin and Brook have Devil Fruit abilities too."

"Cool." I say in awe. "How long have you guys been at this school for?"

Chopper sighs. "We all came here together six month ago. Luffy has to stay another year for stealing a fridge from the kitchen though."

I shake my head. "I assumed he liked food a lot, at first. When I first entered my dorm, he started chasing me in a puffed up form of his. I came to learn that it's simply a part of his ability though."

I hear a giggle and see a girl with long dark hair. "Luffy would probable die if he was a normal human by the amount of food he consumes." Ussop, Chopper, and I sweat drop at her blunt statement.

"Who are you?"

"Nico Robin," She smiles.

"Did Luffy force you to be his friend?" The orange haired girl beside her questions angrily.

"No," I rub my eyes, feeling drowsy all of a sudden. "Well, in a way I guess he did." I admit, after mulling over the question.

"Luffy!" She shouts, hitting him on the head. "How many times have I told you?! Don't force people to be your friend!"

"But Nami!" Luffy protests. "I just helped her. We have to be friends now!"

"What kind of stupid reasoning is that?!" She yells, infuriated.

"Well, anyway," I say. "I won't be at this school for long."

"What do you mean?" Luffy asks, looking at me with his strangely wide eyes.

"I'm planning on escaping," I huff. "I have something important I have to do."

"What is it, (Y/N)?" Ussop asks worriedly.

"None of your business." I reply sharply.

"We just want to help!" Chopper exclaims.

I sigh, standing up and brushing my bangs out of my eyes. I turn my back to them, heading towards the door as a wave of despair washes over me. "I can't drag you all into my mess." I whisper as I leave them behind. "I don't want to hurt anyone."

My eyes sting and my throat constricts as I'm reminded of what I need to do.

I'll be there as soon as I can.
