First Arrivers

So Yhea I finally uploaded another chapter and I am so sorry that it took so long. Today is actually my Birthday so I thought to make a longer chapter for you to enjoy :) (it is still not as long as I wish it to be but I am working on it). So here is the story:

As the morning arrived and the golden sun cast its warm glow through the curtains, the tranquil ambience of the room began to stir. One young man, with a mop of blond hair and a vibrant personality, slowly emerged from slumber. He was known by the name of Rantaro, but most people affectionately referred to him as Honcho due to his passionate and lively nature. As the first rays of sunshine spilt across his face, a familiar, slightly annoying sound filled the air, indicating that it was time to start the day.

With a sleepy stretch, Rantaro reached for the alarm clock, trying to silence the persistent noise. His drowsy eyes squinted at the illuminated numbers on the clock, gradually adjusting to the morning light. Realization struck him suddenly – they were running late for breakfast! In a burst of energy and enthusiasm, Rantaro sprang out of bed, letting out a resounding call to wake up his friend Valt. However, to his dismay, Valt was still wrapped cosily in his warm bed, seemingly unbothered by the urgency of the situation. "HEEEELLLOOOOOOO WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Rantaro shouted, a mix of excitement and frustration in his voice.

As Rantaro quickly got dressed in his everyday clothing, his attempts to rouse Valt from his slumber proved futile. Realizing that he needed to resort to a tactic that Valt despised, Rantaro's mischievous grin widened. "You know what? You asked for it. SO HERE I COME!" he exclaimed, launching himself onto Valt's bed with all the force he could muster. With a startled yelp, Valt was jolted awake, feeling the impact of Rantaro's playful ambush. "HEY, WHAT WAS THAT FOR? This hurts, you know!" Valt protested, clearly annoyed to be pulled from what had likely been a blissful dream.

Ignoring the complaints, Rantaro pointedly gestured at the clock, emphasizing their impending tardiness. "Look at the clock! You're gonna be late, and this time not with me. I'm going. See you at breakfast," he stated firmly, swiftly making his way to the door and disappearing down the hallway.

Left to his own devices, Valt finally comprehended the urgency of the situation. "Huh, okay... wait... DAMN IT, I'M GONNA BE LATE!" he exclaimed in frustration. With a burst of determination, he activated his super Sonic mode, quickly changed into his attire, and dashed out of the room, determined to make it to breakfast, even if it meant being just a little late

-At BC Sol's dining room-

"Being on time is something I really need to teach them," sighed Chris, frustration evident in his voice, as She glanced at the clock. Three out of the four individuals in the room were already late, much to his annoyance. Sisco, with a hint of sarcasm, couldn't resist chiming in, "Yeah, and I'm pretty sure your teaching will do wonders."

Suddenly, the room erupted with the arrival of a specific blond, bursting in with uncontainable energy. All eyes turned to him as he announced his presence with a loud, "I'M HERE!" It was Rantaro, the centre of attention, as usual. Chris and Sisco exchanged glances, knowing that this was typical of Rantaro's spirited nature.

Interrupting the momentary silence, Chris questioned the tardy duo, "Well, you're here, but obviously late, Rantaro. Where's Valt?" His frustration growing, Chris was clearly exasperated this time.

"He's coming. I had to jump on him again to wake him up, 'cause oh man, is it difficult to wake him up," Rantaro responded, trying to explain Valt's habitual tardiness.

Sisco couldn't resist poking fun, "Well, he's difficult in general, but if you need to be specific..."

Before Sisco could finish his remark, Valt burst into the room, cutting him off, and loudly proclaimed, "I'M HERE AND NOT THAT LATE!" The interruption also provoked an outburst from Sisco, who started to say something fiery before Chris intervened.

"ENOUGH!" Chris interjected, her voice carrying an angry tone, effectively silencing the bickering trio. The room fell quiet, and all eyes turned to their frustrated mentor.

"My goodness! Could you please just be quiet and listen for a moment?" Chris demanded irritation etched on her face. "I don't know if you've even bothered to look at the time, but we are going to be late if we continue like this!"

The three of them exchanged sheepish glances, realizing they had pushed Chris's patience to its limits. But just as Free entered the room, Chris's irritation didn't waver. Free, oblivious to the tension, asked innocently, "Why are you so angry?"

Silas, sensing Chris's brewing anger, tried to defuse the situation, "Wait, are you not gonna be mad at him too?" A menacing glare from Chris promptly silenced Silas, who wisely chose not to speak further.

Taking charge of the situation, Chris refocused her attention on everyone. "So, has everyone at least packed everything as I told you to do?" he asked sternly.

"Yes, miss!" they all responded in unison.

"Good. Then take your stuff and put it in the van so you can finally go, and no talking back!" Chris instructed, determined to get them moving and avoid any more delays.

As the group scrambled to gather their belongings and make their way to the van, the atmosphere was tense, but they knew better than to test Chris's patience any further. With a sense of urgency, they hurriedly loaded their gear, preparing for the adventure ahead, hoping that their newfound timeliness would earn them some favour with their mentor.

"Aww man, but I barely got anything to eat for breakfast!" Valt complained with a slight pout as he picked a seat in the van, his hunger apparent in the way he glanced longingly at the window in front of him.

"If you had woken up on time for once, you wouldn't be hungry, moron," mocked Silas, seizing the opportunity to tease his friend good-naturedly.

Valt was about to make a comeback as Free asked "Hey, what was the thing about the snake pit again?" seeking a distraction from Silas's teasing.

"Hmm?" Valt responded, momentarily taken aback before quickly focusing on Valt's question. "Oh, right! The snake pit! Well, you see, it all started when Wakiya came to us, telling us that Shu had disappeared, but he had an idea of where he might be. So, we..."

But before Valt could finish, Rantaro chimed in, seemingly having forgotten Silas's presence too. "Oh yeah, I remember now! We totally found that snake pit while searching for Shu," he added, not even pausing to acknowledge Silas's attempts to speak.

Exasperated, Silas raised his voice, trying to grab their attention, but it was to no avail. Valt and Rantaro were too engrossed in reliving their adventurous tale to notice his frustration.

"WOULD Y'ALL LISTEN TO—" Silas finally managed to interject, but once again, his words were swiftly overshadowed as Valt and Rantaro continued recounting their heroic escapades.

With a sigh, Silas resigned himself to being the overlooked storyteller. He watched with a mix of annoyance and amusement as Valt and Rantaro animatedly described their daring exploits, saving Shu from the perilous snake pit, and overcoming challenges that seemed almost insurmountable.

Despite the interruptions, Valt's storytelling skills shone through. With Honcho's occasional interjections and comedic anecdotes, the tale came alive, and Free was completely captivated by the enthralling narrative.

As the story unfolded, Silas found himself at the periphery, listening and trying to find a way to interject into the conversation. He realized that Valt and Rantaro were so engrossed in their storytelling that they had unintentionally brushed him aside.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Valt concluded the tale with a flourish, and both he and Rantaro beamed with pride at their successful rescue mission. Silas saw an opportunity and seized it. "Maybe yall arent half so stupid and incapable as I thought" he said, gaining their attention at last.

Valt and Rantaro exchanged surprised glances, only now realizing that they had been somewhat inconsiderate. "Oh, sorry, Silas. We got carried away there," Valt apologized sheepishly. "Yeah, our bad," Rantaro added, his boisterous energy softening as he acknowledged Silas. "Whatever" As the journey continued, the atmosphere inside the vehicle settled into a cosy and relaxed state. Each member of the group found their own way to occupy themselves. Some were immersed in books, others dozed off to the gentle hum of the engine, while a few enjoyed the rhythmic melodies of their favourite tunes.

After what seemed like a comfortable passage of time, they finally reached their destination. Honcho's excitement bubbled over as he pointed out the window, exclaiming, "Hey look! I think I can already see the house!"

Gently shaking Valt awake from his brief nap, Honcho urged him to take a look outside. With sleepy eyes, Valt rubbed his eyes and peered through the window, and a sudden wave of awe washed over him. "Oh my! It looks even cooler in person! I can't wait to go inside and see the others too!" Valt said, fully awake and eager to explore their new surroundings.

"Alright then, let's go inside!" Honcho suggested, his enthusiasm contagious. "Yay!" Valt cheered, but then his excitement wavered for a moment. "Wait, do we have a key?" The sudden realization that they might be locked out dampened their spirits momentarily. Honcho and Valt exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to do next.

However, before the disappointment could settle in, Silas, who had been silently observing the situation, came to the rescue. With an amused smirk, he revealed a pair of keys he had kept all along. "I have the keys, you morons. Did you really think she would entrust the house keys to two scatterbrained idiots like us?" he teased, waving the keys in front of them.

Relief washed over Honcho and Valt, and they couldn't help but laugh at their forgetfulness. "Thanks, Silas! You really saved us there," Valt said gratefully.

With the key in hand, Silas unlocked the front door, and they eagerly stepped inside. The moment they crossed the threshold, a feeling of warmth and familiarity embraced them. The cosy interior welcomed them like an old friend, and the air was filled with anticipation for the exciting days ahead.

The house had a charming ambience, filled with little trinkets and souvenirs that told stories of past adventures. Each room held the promise of laughter and unforgettable memories that they were about to create together.

As they dispersed to settle into their respective rooms, a sense of camaraderie and unity filled the air. Even though some of them may not say it, all of them were pretty excited for the other to finally arrive and let the vacation really begin.
