(Y/N) held Naomi in her arms as Frosch soared through the pitch black sky. The only light visible was the bright flames of fires on destroyed and damaged buildings. Motherglare was a bit high if you asked Frosch. He felt worn out carrying both (Y/N) and Naomi. Their target was higher than they predicted and before he knew it, Frosch was slowly getting exhausted. Sweat ran down the side of his face, his breathing was hard. (Y/N) notices and attempted to motivate him to keep going.

"Frosch hang in there, we're almost there. Do this for Rogue." (Y/N) said

Frosch, determined to save Rogue, moved faster than before. Before they knew it, they were hovering right above Motherglare's back.

"Thank you Frosch. You did good." (Y/N) said as they landed, Frosch released his grip on her.

"Fro thinks so too...." He panted

Right in front of them, they saw Natsu and Rogue's future self battling it out. (Y/N)'s eyes lit up as Natsu flames and Rogue using his white magic combined.

"Rogue!" She yelled

Rogue turned his head and looked at her in the eyes. "(Y/N)..."

While his guard was down, the knuckles of Natsu's fist met his nose. He grunted as his head turnt from the punch, stumbling back slightly. "(Y/N) you gotta get out of here!!" Natsu said

"I refuse to go until I talk to him! He needs to face me, Frosch, and his child!" (Y/N) replied

"(Y/N) you-" Rogue used his white and shadow magic combined to blast Natsu off of the dragon. He flew right off and crashed into a tower nearby. (Y/N)'s eyes widened. She felt Naomi grip onto her leg, clearly afraid of him.

"(Y/N) it's you..." He said, walking towards her, his boots stomping slightly as he got closer. The black markings on his face disappeared.

"Rogue I can't believe this. I don't want to believe that you're the man that will destroy the future of humanity. You said you wanted to be a man that cherished your friends. You remember that, don't you? But now you've killed Sting and stole his white magic. To make matters even worse to me, you've abandoned our daughter and wanted her dead!"

Naomi looked at Rogue from behind (Y/N). His lips parted as he got a closer look at her. She looked exactly like (Y/N). Nothing like him whatsoever. But she did have something that he noticed clearly. The lightest scar on her nose that wasn't visible from afar. It resembled the same on he had on the bridge of his nose. He reached up and traced the scar. Naomi, teary eyed, mimicked his action.

"Rogue." (Y/N) stepped towards him, she pulled him by the back of his head and put her forehead on his "It's not too late to change. I know I'm not there for you in the future and I'm sorry. However it's not too late to be there for her." (Y/N) motioned to Naomi

Rogue stared into the (E/C) eyes he had once loved. He frowned. His eyebrows tilted upwards in the middle. For the first time in a long time he had genuinely felt sorry for something he's done. Then he felt the shadows presence with him.

"She wants to hold us- you back from your destiny. Kill her. Exterminate any weaknesses." It said, grinning behind him

(Y/N) noticed it by its bright yellow eyes and wicked smile. Rogue clenched his fist, his shadow magic engulfing it. (Y/N)'s eyes widened. "The sooner they're dead, the better."

(Y/N) put her arms over her head to protect her skull

"Mama!!!!" Naomi shouted, making a shield in front of (Y/N). She felt relieved that Naomi was a skilled Ice make mage.

(Y/N) ran to Naomi and grabbed her as Rogue's powers were breaking the shield.

"Mom...Can you cast any spells..?" Naomi asked "I don't think mine are powerful enough to stop him.. I can only do defense well."

"My energy is incredibly low... I barley even recovered, I have a little bit but that's better than nothing. I'll have to use them wisely."
(Y/N) whispered in response

Rogue broke through, causing ice shards to fly everywhere. He has a black and white aurora surrounding him. His hair came out of his ponytail and stuck up, revealing his other empty eye socket. The black markings appeared on his face once again, indicating that the shadow had full control.

A tear fell out of his red eye as he charged towards them.

"Fro is scared!!!" Frosch said

"Frosch... Get Naomi out of here... Now." (Y/N) said. Without protesting, Frosch picked up the small girl and glided off the dragon towards the ground.

"Ice make diamond cage!" (Y/N)'s (F/C) magic circle appeared as a solid piece of ice started to surround Rogue's body. He growled, attempting to use light laser to set him free.

"I can do this...." (Y/N) encouraged herself

"Ice make lance!" (Y/N) shot the blue rays at Rogue as he was still stuck. He shouted in pain, falling to the ground as the ice cage broke, releasing his arms. He threw several shadow spears at her, she dodged.

"Dammit just die! Holy ray!"

(Y/N) made a ice shield. She threw it at Rogue and he blasted it to pieces with a laser. She lunged at him, tackling him to the ground. Her legs pinned both of his arms, using the absolute last amount of her magic to create a blade. She held it to Rogue's throat, pressing down slightly, drawing a small amount of blood. His eye widened as he stared at her.

'Damn I can't do it.' (Y/N) thought, lifting the blade up slightly off of Rogue's throat. He smirked and slid his legs underneath her, kicking her in the stomach. She flew into the air, about to hit the ground until none other than Natsu caught her.

"I was trying to warn you that he's been trying to kill you to make him get possessed earlier, resulting in his powers being even greater in the future." Natsu explained

(Y/N) couldn't respond, her vision was blurry and her head was pounding. Not to mention her stomach hurt. She went way past her limit, she felt as if she would die.

He could barley hear what Natsu was saying. The only words she could make out was "-Rogue would never hurt (Y/N)."

The last thing (Y/N) thought of was Rogue's watery eye. He was being manipulated by the shadow and it broke her heart.
