My take on what happened when Ember drops her headphones and Wade reaches down to pick it up and apologizes to her.

One morning a female fire element was working with her dad at the fire shop, they were getting set up for the opening when Cinder came out.

''Almost ready.'' Burnie replied with a smile.

''Ember dear how about you go out and have some fun, me and your dad will work at the shop.'' Cinder answered.

Ember the fire element looked at her mom. ''Um, why would I do that?" She asked.

''Because I read that it's good for young elements to get out and not work, you don't mind do you Burnie?'' Cinder asked her husband.

''I don't see why not I mean she is a young lady she should get out. I can't see her meeting anyone here.'' Burnie smiles looking at Ember.

''You guys mean it?'' She asked.

''Yes, go ahead.'' Cinder smiled.

''Is that ok Ashfa?'' Ember asked looking at her dad.

''Yes, go ahead and have fun.'' He smiles and he handed her some money.

She left as she put on her jacket and grabbed her headphones, she went to the train and got on it as took her to another part of Element City.

She was standing looking out the window, with her hood up and headphones on and she was amazed at the sights she saw and she was wondering what she should do. She saw places to eat, shop, and a theater.

The train stopped at its last stop and Ember got off with her hood up and her headphones over the hood she got off the train as a she bumped into a cloud as her headphones came off landing on the ground.

She leaned down to grab them when a watery hand was over hers as a drip of water landed on her hand. ''Ouch.'' She replied quietly.

Then it shows the face of a handsome water guy who looks at her apologetically.

''Sorry.'' He said.

Ember lifted her head and pulled down her hood and stopped when she saw the water guy. She had to admit he was handsome, and she smiles as she held the headphones.

''It's alright, no harm done.'' She replied.

''I'm Wade.'' He introduced.

''I'm Ember.'' She smiles

''Woah that's a pretty name just like you.'' He complimented.

Ember giggles feeling her fire burn a but brighter. ''And your pretty handsome for a water guy.'' She complimented back.

''So, um what are you doing?'' He asked shyly.

''I'm just walking around trying to find something to do, I've never been around here before.'' She answered.

''Well, I was just on my way to see a movie and my friend canceled on me last minute so would you like to come with me?'' He asked quietly.

''Um ok sure.'' She smiles as she follows him.

He started crying because he was so happy, and they walked next to each other.

''Why are you crying?'' She asked.

''I-It's just you're so pretty and you said yes to hang out with me.'' He replied.

She shrugged. ''Why not? It could be fun.''

They walked to the theater and Wade gave the tickets as they went to watch a movie, they were the only 2 in there and they watched movie.

Ember was enjoying it and the company of the water guy. Once the movie was over, they left and started walking around.

''So where do you live?'' He asked.

''Fire Town I work in my dad's shop, which one day it will be my shop.'' She replied.

'''Sounds great. I'm sure you're a natural.'' He smiles as they walked and came to a small plaza area.

''I think so, but my temper gets in the way. What about you? What do you do?'' She asked with a smile.

''I'm a City Inspector; I go around inspecting pipes and places and if they aren't up to code, I write that up and they get fined or shut down.'' He replied.

Ember nodded and made a note not to let Wade into the store. ''Woah busy job.'' She smiles.

''Yes, it is but it's fun I get to go all over.'' He smiles.

''That's nice but I got to go.'' She replied.

''Hey, let's get some fruit drinks before you leave.'' He suggested.

''Um ok.'' She smiles as they got smoothy and both were drinking as they walked to the bus stop.

''Thanks for a fun day.'' She smiles.

''Of course, I hope you come to visit more often.'' He smiled.

She nodded and waved at him as he waved and watched her leave.

Later, Ember arrived home to see the store was closed and she walked in and saw her mom and dad were eating a snack and watching tv.

They looked when she came in.

''Ember!'' Her mom called as she stood up and hugged her daughter.

''Hey mom, dad.'' She smiles.

''Hello Ember, did you have a good day?'' Asked her dad.

''Yeah, it was fun I made a friend, and they were nice enough to show me around.'' She replied knowing how her dad felt about water.

''That's great.'' He smiled.

''I'm going to bed, night guys.'' She smiled hugging them and kissing them as she went to her room and laid on her bed feeling happy, she made a new friend.
