PT.2: Chapter 14
Amado's eyes landed on Eros almost instantly and he ran towards Eros before falling to his knees. "If I still had a beating heart, it would be beating so fast it would faulter. Do you feel what I feel, Eros?" Amado proclaimed.
"If you mean an overwhelming desire to make you mine, then yes," Eros responded.
"I do, I really do, my love," SO THEY ARE MATES!!! No. Flurping. Way!!!
"Then kiss me--"
"Do you even know my name?" Amado interrupted. That certainly broke Eros from his desire-filled trance.
"Oh… you're…."
"Yeup, I am not kiss you until you have my full name memorized," Amado stated.
Eros fumbled. "W-well that's not fair!"
"Oh but it is. Now repeat after me. Amado,"
"Amado,"
"Aurelius,"
"Aurelius,"
"Jolyon,"
"Jolyon,"
"Sandulf."
"Sandulf."
"Amado-Aurelius Jolyon Sandulf."
"Amado-Aurelius Jolyon Sandulf."
"Repeat that until it's memorized."
"Okay Amado-Aurelius Jolyon Sandulf--HEY IT'S MEMORIZED!"
"THEN KISS ME YOU FOOL!" Amado yelled, wasting no time.
"SÍ PAPI!" I chuckled at that.
Slowly, they kissed. This was both Amado's and Eros' first kiss. It was sloppy but cute. Things soon escalated, though, and biting, tongue, and moaning started to get involved. Look away, Luna!
While Amado and Eros were passionately making out (honestly if I didn't know any better, I would say they were trying to each eachother), I turned to God. "Are we going to announce this when Amado-Aurelius is unveiled to the world, father?" I asked.
God said nothing, staring at his feet.
Why did I even bother? He never listens when I say this kind of stuff anyways.
"Well come along now Amado," I called. "We better get going now. God and Eros are busy men."
Amado and Eros then exchanged good-byes, and we left the castle.
☀️🌕⭐
Amado was beaming brighter than he usually did, and that was saying something as he's the sun god. He even had a rose gold blush coating his face. "Nawww you're glowing! I take it things went well with Eros?" I cooed as we left the palace.
"Yeah, I can't believe he's my mate! He's perfect--no, better than perfect! I know a word doesn't exist for that, but he is!!!" His blush deepened and grin grew wider.
"Amado," I started.
"Nobody's perfect, I know," he reprimanded.
"No," I continued, "I was actually going to say we're announcing your pairing when you're unveiled. There are going to be some that oppose, of course, and shame you. But God and I believe all love is beautiful. It will bring some people back into faith."
"I like that," Amado nodded.
Eventually, we were back to our portion of Caelum.
"So!" I clapped my hands. "There's not much you have to do to prepare for the coming out--"
"Pffft!"
"Pun not intended! Anywho, there's not much you have to do to prepare for the unveiling. Just be sure to prepare a speech, relax, and look professional. There will be a schedule we're going to follow, but that will be discussed with God and Eros once your speech is prepared." I continued.
"Question," Amado intervened. "Why did you say unveiling?"
"During the ceremony, you will have a veil over your face that prevents everyone from seeing you until after your speech, when the veil is lifted so they can see who their sun god is. That reminds me, everyone across the two realms, no matter what language they speak or where they are, will see the unveiling at the same time. Each creature will hear it in their native language that they are most comfortable with. They will also see us like they are right in front of us through an angel's eyes." I grinned and sang "the blind will see, the deaf will hear".
"Love Pentatonix," Amado commented on my singing. "But really?!"
"Yes, everyone will know the four of us. They can deny us as gods, but can't deny seeing and hearing us," I confirmed.
"Holy fork!" Amado exclaimed.
"I know, right?! I'm working on making all my gens who have lost any sort of senses, regain them permanently and perfectly, too!"
"That's amazing, mom! Is that all you've been doing in your free time?" Amado teased with a grin.
Oh poop. Don't tell me he found out. "A goddess such as myself doesn't have to explain herself to you!" I hmphed, crossing my arms and pouting.
"It's okay, mom! You can like reading Webtoons and stories on Wattpad!"
"Stalker!"
"It's okay because I do too!"
"Oh really now?! Do you actually?! Do you fangirl over them like I do?!" I shot. I sighed. "Anyways, I barely do. You're here now so I'm rarely bored or lonely." I shook my head and clapped, not wanting to dwell on it. "So! Do you want to go get started on that speech?"
"Sure thing, mom," Amado concluded before walking off.
