Amado."

     Amado blinked as his eyes adjusted. "I feel… strange," he voiced. His eyes widened. "My pants feel tight not just in the leg parts." 

     "Euh! I so did not need to know that!" I shook my head out. "Anywho, Amado, take a look at yourself."

     Amado looked down at his limbs that were taught against his clothing. He slipped out of his shoes, let out a breath of relief when he did so. Amado also lifted his arms up, turning them around and examining them. "I'm tan! Like a golden, olive tan! And look at my guns!" He exclaimed. 

     I laughed a bit. "Do you like it?" Amado nodded his head enthusiastically in response, causing me to laugh again. Reaching into my bag, I pulled out a mirror and handed it to Amado. "Take a look at your face."

     Amado did as I said and his eyes widened again. "OH MY--MY HAIR! IT'S HONEY BLONDE! AND MY EYES--WELL THEY'RE LIKE THE WHOLE DAMN SUN!"

     "Aurelius," I said. 

     "That's my middle name," Amado said.

     "Amado, Aurelius means 'the golden one' in Latin. Also, judging from your eyes, the only idea I have in mind as to what your power could be is you control the sun," I hypothesized.

     "No freaking way," Amado breathed, staring at his reflection.

     "Well then, how does it feel to be a god?" I asked.

     Amado shook his head, handing the mirror back to me. "Magical. I feel magical, powerful, full of life, and over all pretty dang good." He grinned. "Hey, can we go up soon? I have a job to do."

I clapped my hands together. "Sure thing, filius." I grabbed his hand. "Do you want to do the honors?"

     "I'll try," Amado obliged. "Goodbye, Earth. You've been great to me, but it's time I, myself, move on to greater things." With one last glance around, storing everything to his memory forever, we flew up & into caleum.
