"No! Please!" I screamed as it got closer.

"Did you talk you really think you could get away. I will never let you go. " the beast snarled.

I couldn't fight it, him. I tried but it left me broken and defenseless...

"You are mine!" The beast snarled, its mouth dripping with my blood.

"I belong to no one!" I spat. If I was going to die, then I wouldn't die a coward.

"You are mine!" It roared and snarled again.

"You're will is strong. I will enjoy breaking it." It circled me, it prey not that I could get away. It made sure of that when it teeth tore into my neck.

"Why me?" I hissed through the pain.

"How could I not? You were offered to me. Humans are more ruthless than us yet they fear us." It rumbled with laughter, a sick laugh that sent shivers down my skin. That's when it hit me. They had sent me, like a sheep to the slaughter.

"You refer to me as if I'm like you. I'm human." I said putting my head back.
