"Baby, you look fine." Jimin says as he adjusts his tie, rolling his eyes as you stare at yourself in the mirror, adjusting the necklace that Jimin got you around your neck. You glare at him in the mirror and watch as he glares back teasingly. You allow your tongue to peek out from between your lips as you stick your tongue out at him, causing him to laugh softly, hunching over as his eyes do the cute squinting expression that you love so much. You place your tongue back into your mouth before softly smiling to yourself as you listen to the sounds of his laughter.

"I'm just trying to look good tonight. This is one of the first nights that I think I look really pretty." You state before leaning over your vanity, starting to place a small amount of lip gloss onto your lips. Jimin leans against the doorframe as he watches the movement of the applicator on your lips. He licks his own lips as he watches before nodding his head.

"I know, baby," he states before stepping closer to you as he leans down to place a soft kiss on the top of your head. He slowly hovers over you whilst standing behind you. His head rests on the top of yours as he watches you in the mirror, eyes locked on yours. "I'm just reminding you that I think you always look good." He states before wrapping his arms over your shoulders. His hands enclose around each other as he cups his two hands together, his arms hanging loosely over your chest as he then leans down, placing a soft kiss on your cheek. He pulls away and makes his way towards the door. "We're early anyways. Take your time, baby. I'll be in the living room." He states before smiling back at you.

You get back to getting ready, adding some light touches like a little bit of texturizing spray in your hair, a little mascara, some eyebrow gel, and some highlighter on your face. You smile at yourself in the mirror before reaching a hand down to brush your fingertips along your necklace.

The piece of jewelry shines up at you while you stare at it in the mirror, watching as the light shifts with each movement. You eventually end up nodding your head to yourself as you move away from the mirror, adjusting your clothing.

You're dressed in a tight-fit, black long sleeve dress that goes about mid-length on your thighs. The dress accentuates every curve of your body, including the area around your stomach. Normally, this would bother you and you'd change into something or cover it with a blazer. Not tonight.

Tonight, you feel content with yourself. You have a handsome boyfriend who loves you endlessly, you've accepted yourself, and you have a handful of friends who think you're a beautiful person inside and out. These little things have been helping you learn to love yourself. Having these positive people in your life and the support you need to grow to accept yourself has given you the confidence you need to embrace yourself. And it's all thanks to you moving into this house.

You look around your room for a moment before smiling to yourself. As you're getting ready to join Jimin in the living room, you end up face-to-chest with Jimin as he's standing at the entrance of your room. His eyes are a little wide as his eyebrows lift.

"I was just going to ask if you could wear the L'Atelier perfume that I like," he states before looking down at you. His plump lips part as he stares down at you, his voice drifting into silence as he examines your face. Slowly, the corners of his lips curve into a wide smile as he reaches a hand down to take yours in his. "You look... wow..."

"Wow in a good way?" you question. This causes him to laugh and nod his head quickly.

"This is probably the best you've ever looked in my eyes." He states. Your smile drops a little as you glance down.

"Because I'm wearing makeup?" you mumble. He immediately places his index finger under your chin and rests his thumb against the little dip in your chin as he lifts your head to make you look into his eyes.

"Hell no," he starts before leaning down to get a little closer to your face. "Because you look happy, because you look confident." He states before watching as you smile up at him, your eyes shining as you stare up at him. He merely smiles before reaching down to peck your lips lovingly.

You respond to the gentle peck immediately, tasting the sweet mixture of mint and vanilla on his lips as you kiss him.

"Now," he states while pulling away. "We should probably get going to this party. I don't know how much longer I can stop myself from taking you over there," he states while pointing at your bed. "And showing you just how beautiful I think you are." You immediately giggle, causing him to smile. He nods his head towards the door as he gestures for you to follow him, hand in yours as he makes his way towards the living room.

Tonight's going to be a good night.

You and Jimin walk into the party and see everyone mingling. You smile at some of your coworkers and acknowledge them with a soft bow as Jimin does the same, his hand resting on the small of your back as he walks you towards the different groups to say hello.

After greeting the coworkers that you're acquainted with, you make your way towards the final group where Jungkook and Sowon are.

The two look up at you and Jimin, politely smiling at the two of you. You and Jimin notice the different atmosphere between the two of them as they stand close to each other with Jungkook's hand brushing against hers.

You smile widely at the two of them before bowing politely to say hello.

"Hi!" you state while seeing the two of them. Jungkook smiles a wide, bunny-like smile as he looks over at you two.

"Hey, guys." He states while Sowon merely bows. His hand brushes against hers again and you notice the little action, giving Jimin the 'I knew it would work' look.

Jimin nods his head as he starts making conversation with the two.

You and Jimin decided the night you two got back together to find a way to get Sowon and Jungkook together to prevent them from being upset over the two of you rejecting them. You both knew that it would be hard and there was only a small chance that it would work. You two merely got lucky that it actually worked in your favor.

Jimin contacted Hoseok and asked him if he could have his father set up a larger party rather than the dinner party Mr. Jung originally planned to have. Hoseok was able to convince him, telling his father that all employees deserve a bit of recognition for their hard work. Mr. Jung being the kind man that he is, he easily agreed to this and expanded the party a few days before the event was going to happen.

Then, you and Jimin decided to plot the conversation with Sowon and Jungkook to set the two up after telling other coworkers ahead of time. This prevented them from having a choice of going solo with a group of coworkers and therefore forced them to rely on one another to be able to attend the event.

Little did you and Jimin know that Sowon had been starting to check out Jungkook when you told her about how she's trying too hard to get Jimin to fall for her. Ever since you told her this, she realized how desperate she looked and started looking at other men in the office, more specifically Jungkook.

Though Jungkook didn't really give Sowon any attention, when the two started getting to know each other for the party, they started finding things in common. This caused Jungkook to open up to the thought of taking Sowon on a date to see what happens between the two, though deep down, he still doesn't understand what happened between you and him. However, some things are better left unspoken.

You knew that if you told Jungkook what he said the night you two went to the club he would start apologizing. This combined with the fact that you would have to tell him about your kink again while he's sober caused you to attempt to wipe the slate clean with him. After all, if he isn't into your kink, that doesn't make him a bad person by any means; it just means you two aren't compatible, which he'll understand one day when he finds the woman meant for him (even if that's not Sowon).

"Y/N! Jimin!" You hear the loud and cheerful voice coming from the entrance. Turning your head, you see Hoseok making his way towards the four of you, ready to greet you with his bright, sunshine-like smile. You smile at him and so does Jimin.

"Hi, Hoseok." You state with a smile. He immediately pulls you into his left arm and Jimin in his right as he hugs both of you tightly in both arms.

"How are you guys? What do you think of the party?" he asks, his eyes drifting between you and Jimin.

"We're good, and the party is really good, Hoseok. You and your father are very good hosts." You state. Hoseok laughs as he lets go of Jimin with his right arm and uses his right hand to gently pat the top of your head with his palm.

"You're being too formal, Y/N. It's a party, have some fun! Here, I'll go get you guys some drinks." He insists before letting go of you to start heading towards the snack table.

"Ah, not so fast, son," Mr. Jung says while shaking his head. He stops Hoseok from leaving by wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "This may be a party, but it's still a work event." He states before looking at the four of you standing with Hoseok. "Ah, Jimin, Jungkook, Y/N, Sowon." He states while bowing politely to all of you. He smiles at all of you.

"Hi Mr. Jung." You politely say with a smile and a bow while everyone follows suit.

"I assume that my son," he states while looking over at Hoseok, gently shaking him. "Is being a good host?" You all nod your heads eagerly and watch as he examines all of you.

Right before Mr. Jung showed up, Jimin stood next to you, taking your hand in his as his fingers intertwine with yours.

Mr. Jung notices your hands and immediately a small smile forms on his lips.

"Ah, Jimin," he states before releasing Hoseok. He walks over to Jimin and places a hand on his shoulder now, nodding his head as he gives him a soft pat on his shoulder. "I see you were able to make that crush a real relationship, huh?" Jimin shyly nods his head, looking down as he grows embarrassed, the tips of his ears turning a soft pinks shade. "Treat Y/N right, alright? She was my employee before you. If anything happens, I'm taking her side." He says with a laugh which causes you to teasingly nudge Jimin.

"That's right, Jimin, so don't mess anything up." He smiles over at you and arches an eyebrow.

"Didn't you know I'm a perfectionist, baby? I never mess up." He teases. Mr. Jung nods his head and lets out a soft chuckle before releasing Jimin's shoulders. He walks towards Hoseok once more.

"Also, Hoseok convinced me to throw a larger party because he has some very exciting news and I thought a bigger party would be the best way to celebrate." He states.

You and Jimin both look at Hoseok and wait for him to announce his news. He softly smiles at his father before looking at you and Jimin.

"Well, thanks to your help, I'm a trainee for a new group!" he states with a smile. "I haven't met the other guys yet, but I wouldn't have gotten offered the position if it wasn't for your help, so thanks, guys." Hoseok says while smiling widely at you and Jimin. Your faces immediately have a smile spread across them as you both move closer to Hoseok, embracing him in a hug.

"Congrats, Hoseok!"

"Hyung, you would have gotten the offer even if we didn't help, don't give us the credit for your hard work." Jimin states while hugging Hoseok.

Hoseok merely laughs as he embraces the two of you. You all pull away from the hug as Mr. Jung escorts Hoseok to follow him to announce the big news to everyone else at the party.

You and Jimin look over at Jungkook and Sowon.

To your shock, they're gone. You both furrow your eyebrows and look at each other with a silent 'where'd they go' being communicated between the two of you. Glancing around, the two of you start scanning the room to see where they went. You're still unable to find them before Jimin gently taps on your shoulder, pointing in a specific direction. Your eyes widen in shock.

You see the two standing on the dance floor, swaying along to the music playing in the background.

You and Jimin look at each other before shrugging. You point towards the dance floor, nonverbally asking Jimin to dance. Jimin merely smirks at you before gesturing towards the dance floor.

"Ladies first." You roll your eyes and smile before walking towards the dance floor as Jimin follows suit, his hand taking yours as he immediately rests his hand on the small of your back once more. He pulls your body towards his as he starts swaying along to the music. Your hand is rested in his before you reach your other hand up to rest it on his shoulder.

This couldn't have been a more perfect night.

So I hinted in a chapter wayyyyy back that Jungkook was staring at Sowon a bit. I wasn't originally planning on putting them together but when looking at Jungkook's character, I figured he wouldn't just give up unless Jimin either beat him up or if there was another girl distracting him.

I checked and saw that there's some things going on in Zimbabwe. People's human rights are being violated. I've heard they're being beaten, arrested or killed for saying stuff against the government.

Still no updates on Breonna Taylor.
