You're now sitting at your desk, starting your workday as you sign into your computer and start sorting through papers.

This morning was a pleasant one. The birds were outside chirping, the sunrise was a beautiful orange hue, and you woke up to the savory smell of bacon combined with the sweet scent of vanilla-flavored pancake batter.

You fell asleep with a warm feeling in the pit of your stomach. The feeling of being wrapped up in a nice, fluffy blanket with Jimin's warm chest underneath your head made you not want to leave that bed. You two were watching a movie together before you fell asleep while Jimin played with your hair.

As you bite onto your lower lip, thinking about the events of this morning, unaware of the presence trying to get your attention.

Jungkook is standing in front of you, dressed in a black dress shirt and a pair of black slacks. His hair is slicked to the side, revealing his forehead as he furrows his eyebrows while examining your face. The expression of euphoria on your face causes him to tilt his head to the side as he stares over at you.

Seeing as you're still not acknowledging him, he tucks his lower lip under his teeth as he moves his hand. His hand is now directly in front of your face and he snaps his fingers to get your attention.

You quickly blink and shake your head before your eyes trail up his muscular arms. This causes you to make eye contact with Jungkook for the first time since you walked into the office.

"Oh... hey, Jungkook." You state before going back to stacking your papers and organizing your desk. Jungkook merely stares at you, eyes sparkling for a moment before he smiles widely. He laughs softly.

"Good morning." He tells you, causing you to acknowledge him once more.

"Good morning, Jungkook." You state before glancing over to the area where Jimin is standing. He's talking to Sowon and makes eye contact with you. Glancing over at Sowon once again, he reaches a hand up to gesture to where you and Jungkook are standing. This causes you to nod to yourself before you turn your attention to Jungkook once more. He's staring over at you with his doe-like eyes. It causes you to grin at him before you take a deep breath. "So, do you know who you're going to take to the party coming up?"

"Party?" he tilts his head to the side as he raises his eyebrows. His lips are slightly parted with a lost expression on his face. "What party?"

"There's a holiday party coming up for work." You state before smiling as you look over his shoulder and see Jimin and Sowon making their way towards you two.

"Oh..." he trails off before scratching the back of his neck. He nervously eyes you, causing your grin to drop a little.

You can't take me.

"I haven't really heard much about that party, if I'm being honest." He states before shrugging. "Would you-"

"Hey guys." Jimin states with a wide smile on his face. This causes Jungkook's eyes to widen a little as he grows nervous having Jimin talking to him. His expression resembles a bunny rabbit being approached by a predator as it plans to attack the helpless bunny. Jungkook glances at Jimin and gives him an innocent look, almost as if he's saying 'hyung, I'm not hitting on Y/N, I swear.'

"Hi, Y/N." Sowon states while awkwardly looking down at her heels. She's probably still embarrassed by the last interaction you had with her. This causes you to smile widely at her.

"What were you guys talking about?" Jimin asks while looking at you as he pretends to be clueless. He winks at you while the other two awkwardly avoid eye contact with you and Jimin. Sowon's avoiding eye contact with you because she's afraid of you making her look bad again. Jungkook's avoiding eye contact with Jimin because of the fact that you're his ex-girlfriend and he has a crush on you.

"Oh, just the holiday party coming up." You state with a smile. Jungkook's head snaps up as he catches on to the odd behavior. He silently stares in your direction as he tilts his head a little. You can tell he's questioning if you and Jimin made up since the breakup. He merely narrows his eyes, not in an angry way, but in a 'this is really odd' way. You merely smile in his direction. "Apparently, no one told Jungkook." Jimin glances over at Jungkook before he touches his arm a little, causing Jungkook to flinch back a little, afraid that Jimin might still be holding some vengeance towards him.

"Really?" he questions. Jungkook slowly nods his head before he gestures towards Sowon. "That's what we were talking about too. Apparently, it was only going to be a few employees going at first but apparently Mr. Jung's son convinced him to allow every employee to go." Jimin states before removing his arm from Jungkook's. He stuffs his hands into his pockets before looking over at you and steps a little closer to you.

Pretending to be surprised, Jimin then snaps his head towards Jungkook.

Nice acting skills, baby.

You press your lips to prevent from smiling as Jimin looks at Jungkook.

"So, Jungkook, does that mean you don't have someone to go with?" he questions. Jungkook awkwardly glances over at you before looking back down.

"I guess not." He murmurs quietly. Jimin looks over at Sowon.

"Well, Sowon asked me earlier if I could accompany her but I already have a date." Jimin states before resting his hand on your lower back. You both watch as Jungkook and Sowon's eyes stare down at his arm moving towards your back. Sowon's eyes are filled with defeat while Jungkook's are filled with disappointment. "You two should go together." Jimin states kindly while smiling at the two of them. You step closer to Jimin and allow his arm to fully wrap around your waist.

This is the first time you've felt comfortable with anyone at the office other than Jungkook knowing about your relationship with Jimin. The insecurity stemmed from you fearing that you and Jimin could break up one day which would make you look both unprofessional and pathetic in the eyes of your coworkers. However, now that you no longer have this fear, it's easier for you to embrace the idea of you occasionally showing little acts of affection in the office. Of course not anything too intense like making out in the break room or anything, but little acts of affection like kisses on the cheek, hand holding, and the occasional slap on the ass while your coworkers and boss aren't looking (which was Jimin's idea, not yours).

"You have to admit, you two would look cute together." You start before Jimin nods his head in agreement.

"That and Jungkook is much more mature than me, Sowon." He states before looking over at Jungkook. "And I have to admit, he's a good-looking guy."

Sowon and Jungkook awkwardly look at one another before they both awkwardly laugh.

"Oh... um..." she starts.

"I mean, if you want to..." Jungkook mumbles.

The two silently stare at one another for a moment before they gain the courage to nod their heads.

"Sure." They state at the same time. This causes Sowon to cough awkwardly before she glances over your shoulder.

"Ah, I should probably get back to work." She states. "I'll see all of you later." She politely smiles before quickly getting out of the awkward situation.

"I probably should too." Jimin states while looking down at his watch. He leans in and places a soft kiss on your cheek before he walks away, releasing your waist.

You're about to head into the breakroom to get a bottle of water before Jungkook stops you by gently placing a hand on your wrist. Shocked, you look back at the man with your eyebrows raised.

"I thought you and Jimin were broken up?" he questions while his black eyes express his confusion. You merely smile at the man before nodding your head.

"Yeah, we did." You state before glancing over at Jimin as you get one last glance of him before he turns a corner in the office, no longer visible. "But we got back together."

Jungkook's shoulders physically drop as his lips part. His mouth is slightly hanging open as he merely stares at you. You watch the sadness and disappointment swirling in the irises of his eyes.

"Oh." His voice gets quiet as he says this before he releases your wrist. He stares into your eyes as he lowers his voice even more. "I thought you and I were starting to..." he drifts off before swallowing. His Adam's apple bobs up and down as he gulps. You hear his voice slightly cracking at the end of his sentence, which causes your eyes to fill with sympathy for him. You gently rest your hand on his shoulder.

"Jungkook, you're a very handsome guy. You're sweet and funny and kind-"

"Then what happened?" he interrupts, his voice almost a mumble. Your shoulders drop a little before you reach your hands down, taking one of his between yours as you speak.

"Jungkook, a lot of things happened," you state before you lick your lips. "You don't really know me."

"But I do know you, Y/N. I've spent so long trying to get to know you."

"Jungkook, I don't think you like me." You state while looking at him. His eyes widen as they fill with further disappointment, but now shock is another emotion mixed in those big, black eyes. "I think you like chasing me. I think you like knowing that I don't have feelings for you, and you see it as a challenge." He remains quiet as he merely stares at you. "You like the idea of having me. Not me."

"Y/N, that's not true." He states which causes you to press your lips together.

"Jungkook, if that's not true, then tell me one of my favorite things." You state. You watch as the man lifts his eyebrows, taken aback by your request. You merely stay quiet and allow him to think. He struggles as he tries to think of one of your little habits. After about 30 seconds, you smile softly.

"I could name one, just give me a minute to think." He quickly speaks. You softly laugh before shaking your head.

"Jungkook, you don't know anything about me." You state before shrugging your shoulders. "I really love Jimin a lot. Besides, you don't want to be with someone as creepy as me."

"Creepy? You're not-" you smile and nod your head at him, bowing politely before you release his hands and finish making your way to the breakroom. The man is still standing there, shocked as he triesto understand the meaning of your last statement while standing by your desk.

We're only a few chapters away from this story being finished! Just a reminder, this week I'm posting DAILY! So every day, you'll be getting a chapter. For five days in a row. So that's 5 chapters in 5 days to celebrate this story ending.

I haven't fully decided when I'll start Chef's Kiss yet. I'm thinking of giving all of you a week or two to finish reading Voyeurism first. Giving you that time should let you decide whether or not you're interested in reading Chef's Kiss based on the limited chapters I've already posted.

I think on either August 17th or August 24th is when I'll start posting the chapters for Chef's Kiss.

I also haven't decided on an upload schedule for Chef's Kiss considering my last semester of university is starting soon. I think I'll stick to either a weekly or biweekly schedule for Chef's Kiss, but I'll let you all know when the time comes.

Onto other news:

Breonna Taylor was on the cover of Oprah magazine. As nice as this is and as comforting it is to see that people haven't dropped the topic of her death, this isn't enough. There's been an investigation open since May and no one has been arrested yet. The police department needs to quit protecting these murderers and just arrest them already. It's plain annoying that they're holding off the investigation and trying to stall thinking that we'll forget about it. We won't.

I haven't seen any updates about Nikki or the other protestors who have been kidnapped by unidentified cops. That scares me. Hopefully they're not in jail and hopefully they return home safely to their families.

Another big thing going on lately is the Harvey Weinstein case. There have been a lot of people who have been involved in his p*dophilia ring. I'm disgusted to say the least. There's a woman (forgot her name, if someone knows comment it) who helped him traffic these young girls and I'm disgusted by her. What if that was you being sex trafficked, bitch? (Sorry for my language but she is one) what if that was your sister, mother, daughter, friend, or even lover? And yes, I'm saying lover bc she also raped these girls, so clearly she's attracted to girls. As for Bill Clinton, I'm not surprised he was seen there by one of the girls. He had an affair while in office with an INTERN. Most interns are in college or high school, so that showed his p*dophilia already. However, I'm still disgusted that this shit happens in Hollywood. Make your money by acting, producing, singing, or whatever like good people in showbiz do (by "good people" I'm talking about Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Laverne Cox, Viola Davis, and all of the other people using their platforms to spread awareness about important things). The people doing these horrible things and traumatizing these children should NOT have the power that they have. (I could easily fire shots at Trump right now, but I won't for the sake of him not being worth my damn time)

Whew, a lot has happened, huh? The world is at a crazy place right now with a constant fight of good vs bad. The line between the two is always blurred too, making things a lot more difficult with what to believe and what not to believe.

Onto another important thing: how are you all? I hope you're all staying healthy, doing things to make you happy, eating well, and drinking water. I love hearing about you and how you're feeling.

Just going to leave a reminder here: during these hard times, your feelings, experiences, struggles, etc. matter. You matter. You're important. You're loved.
