You wake up the next morning passed out on Jimin's shoulder. You stretch out your arms before you reach forward and bury your face in Jimin's neck.
Slowly opening your arms, your eyes slowly open and you look up and see a note lying on the table.
Hey girl, had to get going, flight leaves in about 2 hours. See you again when I'm in town!
You smile softly to yourself before feeling Jimin's body shifting next to you as he wraps an arm around you. Pulling you in, Jimin lets out a soft yawn before reaching down and placing a kiss on your forehead.
"Morning, baby." He states before leaning in, ready to kiss you again. Placing your hand on his lips, you gently push his face further away from yours as he leans in, causing him to pout against your skin. You let out a soft laugh before turning your body so that your back is facing Jimin. "Hmph, no morning kiss?"
"Nope. You haven't brushed your teeth." You state before pressing your body further back against Jimin's. "But good morning." You state before nuzzling your face into one of the pillows on your couch.
"Where's Joy?" Jimin questions before you point towards the note lying on the table in front of you. He lifts his head from the couch, squinting his eyes to read it before he nods his head, resting his head back onto the pillow. He then pulls your body in closer using his arm before he nuzzles his face into your neck, starting to place gentle kisses along the side and back of your neck. Tilting your head to the side, you give him more access and allow him to continue kissing along your neck. Arching your back, you accidentally back your bottom into Jimin's lower abdomen area, causing him to pause his movements. His body tenses as he grips onto your waist for a moment. "B-baby, sit still." He states.
You arch an eyebrow at his plead.
"Oh? Why?" you ask before purposefully backing your ass into him. He inhales a sharp breath and you can feel the heat radiating off of his mouth as his lips linger over your neck. You roll your eyes back for a moment before feeling Jimin's warm lips leaving your neck. "W-why'd you stop?" You can feel Jimin smiling near your neck.
"That's what girls who tease get." He states before he carefully gets off of your couch, separating from you. You watch as he carefully places one of his legs onto the floor while his other leg remains behind you. Laughing quietly, you see how careful he's being so you don't fall off of the couch and so he doesn't step on you. Jimin glances down at you, gently smiling before he finally gets both of his feet on the floor. "Now, what're we having for breakfast?"
________________________________________________________________________________
You and Jimin are now at the restaurant where you two first had breakfast. Sitting in the same booth, scanning the same menu, with a different waitress this time.
"I'll have some scrambled eggs, a fruit and yogurt parfait, and some bacon on the side." Jimin states while handing his menu to the waitress.
"What about you, dearie?" the old woman asks you with a smile on her face. Smiling up at her, you hand her the menu.
"I'll have the French toast and a side of strawberries and whipped cream, please." You watch as writes down the order, her fragile hands trying their hardest to stay steady as she does so. Smiling, she takes your menu and begins slowly walking towards the kitchen.
"She reminds me of my grandma." Jimin states before he smiles over at you, taking a sip of his orange juice.
"Yeah? Why's that?" you ask before starting to undo the wrapped napkin around your utensils and slip the napkin onto your lap. Jimin shrugs before he looks over, seeing the old lady behind the counter as she helps one of the customers sitting at the stools by the kitchen.
"Just the way she's always smiling. It's like my grandma," he states before he places his orange juice back onto the table. "My grandma's not like most old people who get cranky and rude to everyone." You smile softly before nodding your head and taking a sip of your water. "What about your grandma, baby? What's she like?" he asks. You finish swallowing the last sip of your water and place it onto the table before awkwardly glancing down.
"Oh... um..." you drift off while trying to find a way to mention that she died two years ago without making him feel embarrassed. "She was very nice, she loved flowers and had a garden, she loved the color pink and I would always call her at least once a month and during holidays." You state before shrugging. Jimin's eyes widen a little.
"Oh God," he states before covering his eyes as he gently slaps his palm against his forehead. "I shouldn't have asked that question, I'm sorry, baby." He states while still hitting his palm against his forehead. You open your mouth, ready to say it's okay when the old lady comes back with your plates.
"Dearie, you shouldn't hit your head with your hand like that," she states before placing his plate of food in front of him. "You'll become a pabo from hitting it so hard." She scolds before putting your plate in front of you.
"Thank you, ma'am, but I'm already a pabo." He states while laughing as he stops slapping the palm of his hand against his forehead. You shake your head and laugh with the old lady before she starts to walk away again.
"You're not a pabo... I barely talk about my family around you, so I don't blame you." You state before digging your fork and knife into the French toast, starting to cut the French toast into smaller pieces.
"That's true," Jimin states before putting some of the scrambled eggs in his mouth. His lips form into a pout as he eats, which causes you to softly smile over at him for a moment. Soon, he swallows his food and looks up at you while he sticks his spoon into the yogurt parfait. "Speaking of your family, I don't know much about your family, except for your mom, obviously. Is there a reason you don't talk about your family?" he questions before taking some of the yogurt parfait into his mouth. You shake your head while dipping your French toast into the syrup pile you started.
"Not really," you state before shrugging. "I just... think it's a little early to talk a lot about family, you know?" you ask. Jimin slowly nods his head before he plops some more yogurt into his mouth. He licks the sides of his mouth before looking over at you.
"I'm guessing that means it was too soon for me to invite my brother to our dinner then, huh?" his voice grows a little quiet as he stares down at his plate of food, rather than looking up at you. You immediately begin to quickly shake your head.
"No! I didn't mind meeting your brother!" you state before reaching a hand over to place it on his. "I just... think it's too soon to take family really seriously yet. It hasn't been a full year yet since we've been together and I just... I don't know, I wanna take things slow?" Jimin nods his head before softly smiling up at you.
You're glad you can communicate your uncertain feelings with Jimin. Being able to communicate with him makes you almost entirely forget about the whole jealousy battle happening in your mind. It makes you think that you chose the right man to let in your life this time.
"So, are you excited for our double date with Namjoon and Jennie?" Jimin asks before looking up at you as he continues eating his scrambled eggs and yogurt parfait. You smile and nod your head.
"Of course, I am!" you exclaim before taking another bite of your French toast. "You know, I feel like they're a couple that we can look up to." You state. Jimin arches an eyebrow as he softly smiles.
"Yeah? Why do you say that?"
"Because, after so many times of trying to get pregnant, they were finally able to do it and I'm sure they were probably so stressed and worried that one of them was unable to have children." You pick up a strawberry and dip it into the whipped cream before taking a bite. "For them to get through something as scary as that, I think they can survive through anything together." You state before shrugging. Jimin nods his head before quirking an eyebrow.
"Are you insinuating that you think we're going to need their help during our relationship?" he teases. You pause, your fork in midair with a piece of French toast on it. The syrup drips off of the bottom of the fluffy bread and you immediately give Jimin a warning stare. He softly laughs before reaching over and taking a bite out of his bacon.
"I'm not insinuating anything," you state before you finally place the piece of French toast into your mouth. "I'm just saying that if we end up in circumstances where we don't know what to do, I think they're the couple we can rely on and ask for help from." You state before shrugging as you take another sip of your water. Jimin softly smiles before nodding his head.
"I forgot to mention," he states before he looks down shyly. Plopping some of the bacon into his mouth, he glances over at you for a moment before he starts speaking a little more quietly. "I sold another house." Your eyes widen and you immediately drop your fork onto your plate, reaching over the table to make him look at you. You place your hand under his jawline and gently lift his head. He's staring at you with a small smile, his eyes formed into little crescent moons while his cheeks turn a soft red color.
"Baby! That's great!" you state before smiling eagerly. "I'm so proud of you!" you state. Jimin looks down shyly for a moment, scratching the back of his neck as he grows shy and flustered at your praise towards him.
Praise kink. I'll remember that.
"Thank you." He shyly states before he takes a sip of his orange juice. "My commission went up because of it. I'm getting 3% from 4 of the homes I've sold for others and I get 6% of every home I helped sell that the buyer wanted to buy a new home with." He states before you widen your eyes.
"6%?" you question. Jimin nods his head as he looks down at his plate of food. He's clearly proud of himself but doesn't show off in an arrogant way. "Baby, that's incredible!" He smiles softly before the bill is placed in front of you. The old lady gives you both a small wave and smile.
"Enjoy your day, lovebirds." She softly says. You both nod your head towards the old lady and wave at her as well before you turn your eyes back to Jimin quickly.
"Let's celebrate!" Reaching into your purse, you take out some cash and remove the bill from the bill holder to calculate the tip. Once you calculate the tip, you grab the cash, place it underneath your glass on the table before looking at Jimin. "Let's go to a carnival! No, wait, we can go ice skating! Wait, no, let's-"
"Well, as fun as those suggestions sound," Jimin asks, a large smile on his face as he sees how excited you are. You let out a soft laugh upon seeing Jimin smiling this widely. "What do you say we head to one of our places and watch some cheesy K-drama together? I don't need to do something fancy to celebrate, I just want to be around you."
"Sounds good to me." you state while Jimin slides his cash into the pocket of the bill holder to pay for the meal.

Keep in mind what Y/N says about family. You'll see some stuff go down later on in the story that causes things to get uncomfortable.
I hope all of you are doing well and have been taking care of yourselves.
There's still so much going on in the world, so I'm really hoping that these updates can help in some way. I know social media and the news is getting overwhelming lately due to COVID, BLM, and so many more things.
Speaking of COVID, some places have been having increases again, so if you go anywhere, make sure you don't touch your face, wash your hands immediately, and wear a face mask. I've been seeing too many people complaining about how they don't want to wear one on the news, but it's for everyone's safety.
With BLM, I saw that there have been 2 people who have been hung from trees. Though I'm not black, this thought terrifies me. The fact that the people investigating it say it could be suicide is crazy to me. I'm not 100% sure, but these things sound like something the KKK would do. If you are one of my POC readers (specifically African American) please be careful. It sucks saying this bc no one should have to worry about being by themselves, but make sure you have someone with you at all times or at least that someone knows of your whereabouts. If someone only knows of your whereabouts and isn't with you, make sure you have a code word with that person for emergencies so they can know to get help.
I've been using every personal platform of mine to spread the word about the BLM movement and let me tell you, it's shown me some things. I've had a handful of people unfollow me bc they "don't want to see it" and the minute I saw, I blocked them. If people in your lives are unwilling to listen to or learn about why this is such a big issue, they're not someone you want in your life.
I love all of you so so so much. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay hopeful.
