The next few weeks resulted in you constantly eyeing Sowon and Jimin while at work. Jimin did talk to Sowon by saying he has a girlfriend. Even though she doesn't know that you are his girlfriend, her flirty attitude towards Jimin has faltered a bit.

However, every now and then, you catch her trying so hard to offer to take Jimin to get coffee. Each and every time, Jimin would lock eyes with you, decline, and get back to doing his work without talking to her. You felt bad for the girl because she reminds you of how Jungkook acts with you. However, what you don't feel bad about is telling Jimin you're jealous.

Though the thought of you being broken is still in the back of your mind, you still find yourself content enough in the relationship to keep it going. After all, nothing else has gone rogue, so why should you consider ending it?

Yes, you're still learning to love yourself. No, you don't love yourself entirely yet. Yes, you love Jimin. No, you don't want to lose Jimin the way you lost your previous partner.

You're now plopped on the couch in your home while Jimin's out, trying to sell more houses. Joy is sitting next to you, stuffing her mouth with Cheetos as you both watch the K-drama on your TV.

"I can't believe that we haven't done this in months," she states while a Cheeto falls out of her mouth and onto her top. She watches it fall before reaching a lazy hand up to scoop it back into her mouth. You watch in disgust as she does this, causing her eyes to drift over to you. Rolling her eyes, she starts talking with her mouth full. "What? It'd be a waste of food for me not to eat it." You shake your head before digging your hand into the bowl of Cheetos, taking one for yourself as you plop it into your mouth. Once you finish chewing, you open your mouth to speak.

"So, you never really told me what you think about Jimin since you met him that night." you casually bring up the topic. She turns her head to face you, an eyebrow arched as she stares over at you for a moment. Sitting up on the couch, she takes another Cheeto and shrugs.

"He's cute, clearly a very caring person, has a lot of friends," she states the facts out before properly starting to gain an opinion on the handsome man. "He seems a little... clingy?"

"Clingy?"

"Yeah... but also, I know you love being showered with affection, so I don't think it's an issue."

"What else do you think?"

"Y/N, I've only met him like what? Twice now?" she questions before stuffing another Cheeto in her mouth. "If you're happy, then everything's good with me. I didn't get any bad feelings or anything like that, if that's what you wanted to know." She replies before sitting back on the couch after grabbing a handful of the cheesy snack.

You softly nod for a moment before a soft smirk starts forming on your face.

"I'm glad you like him," you state before reaching forward to grab more of the Cheetos. "What do you think about the other people we met at the dinner?" She quirks an eyebrow before shrugging.

"Hoseok's energetic, but cute and nice. Namjoon's smart, but clumsy. Yoongi is quiet, but funny. Taehyung's... mysterious," she drifts off for a moment before she ponders for a moment, nodding her head. "I like Jennie. She's the type of girl I see us hanging around more often."

"You know damn well who I'm asking about and you're avoiding the topic?" you question, a surprised expression on your face. "Joy, the only time you ever do that is if you like someone." You state before poking at her side. She scowls at you, moving her body in the opposite direction to avoid your finger.

"Who exactly are you asking about?" she questions with narrowed eyes as she stares over at you.

"Oh, you know..." you drift off before shrugging as you pick up the remote to the TV, deciding to turn the TV off. "Just the guy who was hitting on you the entire night. Jin... does that ring a bell?" you question with a smirk on your face.

"Jin is weird." She simply responds before looking down at her nails. "He's also too arrogant." She responds. You merely nod your head before eyeing her mannerisms. She's avoiding eye contact, biting her lower lip, and now she's fully sitting up straight.

"You like him." You respond before throwing some Cheetos at her. "Why are you lying?"

"I don't even know him!" You roll your eyes, your smirk only growing wider as you glance down at your phone.

"Again, I repeat: you like him." You check the time on your phone and immediately perk up, sitting up straight on the couch as you turn yourself to fully face her. "Jimin should be home soon. I can text him and tell him to give you his number." You state while wiggling your eyebrows. She rolls her eyes before looking over at you and crossing her arms.

"I'll pass, thanks." She responds. You arch an eyebrow, ready to open your mouth to extend the topic further before your phone beeps.

Jimin: hi baby, just got back from work. I'm going to take a quick shower then head over to your place.

Y/N: okay baby. See you soon.

You hit send, a small smile on your face before you glance up from the screen only to be surprised by Joy's face directly on your shoulder as she reads your messages with Jimin. She has an eyebrow arched as she smirks to herself. You roll your eyes and reach your hand up, pushing her head off of your shoulder as you poke your index finger into her forehead.

"YAH!" she yells before standing up from the couch as she stares down at you, eyes wide as she angrily glares down at you. You bite onto your lower lip to hold in a laugh before you immediately break into laughter, starting to lean back on the couch as you place your hand on your stomach. "YAH, what are you laughing at?!"

"Y-you," you say in between laughs before breaking into a louder howl of laughter. "You... s-sound just like Ji-Jin!" you exclaim as you point up at her, laughing further. This causes her to stand up straight, eyes widening as she crosses her arms over her chest. Her eyes return to their normal size as she immediately shakes her head, starting to deny it. Right when she opens her mouth, you hear a knock on your door and stick your tongue out at her before running towards the door.

At your door, Jimin stands with his hands in the pocket of his black sweatpants, dressed in a white V-neck while he gives you a small smile. You smile back at him before he immediately walks towards you, embracing you in a tight hug before he inhales your perfume. Following his actions, you bury your face in his neck and inhale the scent of his freshly washed skin. He smells like vanilla mixed with a hint of musk. Before you know it, Jimin's hands are hooked underneath your thighs as he carries you into your home, shutting the door behind him.

"Baby! Joy is here!" you exclaim as he begins kissing down your neck. Jimin immediately pauses before lowering you onto your feet, scratching the back of his neck as he waves over at Joy with his other hand.

"Sorry you had to see that, Joy." He states while giving a shy smile.

"Oh, don't worry, I know very well just how horny you two-"

"Joy!" you exclaim before turning to her with wide eyes. She merely shrugs while a cat-like smirk forms on her face. You arch an eyebrow before immediately turning to Jimin. "Alright, two can play the embarrassment game." You mumble to yourself.

Joy's eyes widen as she starts to immediately shake her head, rushing towards you as you start to open your mouth.

With one breath, you let out the sentence that needed to be said for payback.

"Joy has a crush on Jin!" you exclaim, smiling menacingly at Jimin. Jimin's eyebrows lift as his lips form into an 'o' shape. His plump lips slightly pout as he does this motion.

"Really?" he questions. You nod your head and Joy finally makes it towards you, tackling you to the floor at Jimin's feet.

"I'm gonna wring your little-"

"As hilarious as this is," Jimin interrupts her sentence before stretching out both arms to you, allowing both of you to get up from the floor and dust yourselves off. "In all seriousness, do you want Jin's number Joy?" he asks while gently placing his hand on your lower waist.

Joy immediately grows quiet once this question escapes his mouth. This causes you to hold in a laugh, covering your mouth with your hand. This is the first time you've seen Joy so embarrassed by having a crush on a guy. Her cheeks start turning a soft red color before she glances down at her feet.

"I mean... if you want to give it to me... I guess." She states while she stares down at her hands, picking at her fingertips. Jimin nods his head before he looks around your room for a moment. He holds up his index finger, indicating a 'one minute' gesture before he runs towards your kitchen, grabbing a piece of paper from the notepad hanging on your fridge. He pulls out his phone and starts writing down Jin's number on the paper before handing it to Joy. Joy shyly takes the piece of paper and stuffs it in her pocket. You quirk an eyebrow before turning to Jimin.

"If they work out, we should go on a double date." Jimin states with a soft smile. You laugh and gently slap his chest. You step to Joy and take her hand, leading the way to the couch.

"C'mon, let's watch a movie so you aren't embarrassed anymore." You state. You and Joy begin walking towards the couch and you glance back at Jimin. Jimin's still standing, hands stuffed back into his pocket as he stares down at his feet. "Baby, don't you wanna watch TV with us?" you question while tilting your head to the side.

"Yeah, I just gotta make a quick phone call." He responds with a soft smile. "My dad was wanting to hear from me today." He states. Your mouth makes an 'o' shape as you nod your head quickly.

"Okay! Just come join us afterwards, baby. Take your time." You state before plopping onto the couch next to Joy. Joy watches as Jimin pulls his phone out and walks into your bathroom, away from you two. She eyes him until he disappears behind a wall and then glances at you.

"Why do I get a weird feeling about that?" she questions. You glance back at the area where Jimin went before shrugging your shoulders as you take a Cheeto into your mouth and begin chewing.

"I mean," you state before swallowing the Cheeto. "The other day his coworker Sowon was hitting on him, but he immediately talked to me about it and found a solution to it. He told her he has a girlfriend and that he's uncomfortable with her touching him like that and how Mr. Jung would get her in trouble for doing it." You say before plopping another Cheeto into your mouth. Joy nods her head slowly before looking at the TV.

"And you saw him say it to her? Like heard it?" she questions. You nod your head slowly and furrow your eyebrows.

"Yeah... what's with the questions?" you tilt your head to the side. She shrugs for a moment.

"I don't know... just had a weird feeling that he just randomly left the room for the phone call is all." You look back at the TV and try your hardest not to let her words affect you.

It doesn't work, however.

How long has he been on the phone for? I know he told Sowon to back off... but has he talked to Candace? Wait... why would he have to? She met me already. What if there's other girls at his company that I haven't met? What if he's already bored of me?

"Baby? You okay?" Jimin's voice speaks out. You look up at Jimin to see him staring down at you, curiosity in his eyes. "You looked like you were daydreaming." He states with a soft laugh before he starts sitting down, causing you to scoot over a little bit on the couch to make room for him. Letting out a laugh, you nod your head.

"Yeah... I must've been lost in a trance or something." You joke, the smile on your face not matching the thoughts in your head.

I noticed a lot of people saying that Y/N's behavior in yesterday's chapter was a bit toxic. I did that on purpose. You'll see some more odd behavior coming up soon. These upcoming chapters are my least favorite but most realistic chapters.
