You let out a sigh as you got out of your car, locking the car door as you perched your bag onto your shoulder. You glanced over at Jimin's house, biting your lip as a slight hint of courage creeped into you. Pulling out your phone, you licked your lips as you quickly dial Jimin's number.
One ring, two rings, three rings, fou-
"Hi, beautiful." You felt a warmth forming in your stomach as you heard him calling you that.
"Hi. Are you busy tonight?" You ask, the image of your mom in your mind as you wanted to take her advice.
"No, I should be getting off of work soon." He says before you heard some muffled voices on the line. "Yes, sir. I brought those cookies for you. Please, enjoy. I'll call you when I get off work, Y/N."
"Okay. Try and save me a cookie if you can." You joked. You heard Jimin's cute laugh on the other side of the line, which causes you to smile to yourself.
"I'll try my best to, what kind?"'
"I like chocolate chip."
"Got it. I'll see you tonight, baby." You nodded your head before hanging up the phone. After hanging up, you started to walk into your home and changed out of your work clothing into something more comfortable and sexier. You slipped on a lace bodysuit under a pair of joggers and re-styled your hair. Once you finished getting ready you glanced over yourself in the mirror and put some lip gloss on.
Let the waiting begin.
________________________________________________________________________________
Your phone started ringing.
"Hello?" You speak into the phone.
"I just got off of work, beautiful, but I have some bad news." You furrowed your eyebrows and crossed one arm over your chest before you started to assume Jimin couldn't play your game tonight.
"What bad news?"
"I couldn't get you a cookie," he stated, which caused you to let out a soft laugh. You smiled widely and bit onto your lower lip. "But don't worry, baby. I'll make it up to you. I'm yours for the night."
"Mine, huh?" You asked before you bit into your bottom lip. "Meaning you'll do anything I want tonight?" Jimin's chuckle echoed throughout the phone.
"Well, not anything, but most things. I gotta have a limit somewhere." He mumbled into the phone, his voice getting deeper as he does so. "However, there's a wide range of things I would do and you're well aware of that from our contract."
"Hm, what a bummer. I'm guessing that means you wouldn't let me watch you have sex with a guy?" You smirk as you bite onto your lower lip. You hear Jimin's laugh on the other side of the line before he speaks.
"Hm, yeah that's a no. Sorry, baby. There's other things I'd be willing to let you watch me do though." He states as you hear some static on the other end.
"Yeah? Like what?"
"Hm, I think I'd rather tell you in person. Wouldn't want to get too excited without you being here to watch."
You didn't know what was going on with you today, but you decided to act on this newly found courage to test out this contract with Jimin. Jimin must've caught on to your thoughts when he decided to speak again.
"Y/N? You there?"
"Yeah, sorry. I was just thinking of what I wanted to do with you tonight."
"Oh? What did you have in mind, baby? Did you want me to meet you at your place and drive us somewhere?" You bite onto your lower lip.
"Yeah. I was thinking we could grab some dinner, then go clubbing to find a girl, I could watch you then we'll get some dessert."
"Oh? Can't get enough of me, huh?" You feel a warmth creep onto your face as you grow embarrassed. You press your lips together as you think about what to say. Jimin laughs before he speaks again. "Just kidding. You know I'm a flirt by now, Y/N. I'd love to. I'll be there in a few minutes, just have to drop this paperwork off to my boss's office." You nod your head eagerly before realizing he can't hear you as you speak again.
"Sounds good to me, Jimin. I'll see you soon." You say before looking back over your outfit. You decided to slip a sweatshirt over your lace bodysuit to surprise Jimin last minute. You bite your lower lip before grabbing your phone, walking towards your living room. Plopping onto the couch, you switch on the news channel and catch up on the latest news like your mom had taught you to do growing up.
After a few minutes of listening to the news, you see a pair of headlights peeking through your window. Standing up, you eagerly walk towards the window as you peak out of the curtains to get a view of the car outside. Nibbling your bottom lip, you get a view of Jimin parking his car, looking at himself in the rear view mirror before he steps out of the car, walking towards your front door. You shut the curtains and decide to make him wait a little before you step towards the door, slowly opening the door as you smile.
"Hi." You say cheekily as you smile at Jimin. He smiles down at you, causing his eyes to squint as he does so.
"Hi," he says in a slightly deep voice before speaking again. "You know, you aren't very sneaky when you watch people. You should make sure you don't stare at other people through windows, they won't find it as cute as I do." He says, causing you to cover your face, your face becoming hot as you grow embarrassed. He lets out a laugh, causing him to hunch over in front of you before grabbing onto your hand. He starts to walk with you towards his car while you lock the door behind you.
"So, how was work?" You ask, looking down at the radio, tempted to turn the volume down to hear Jimin's voice. Jimin glances over at you for a moment before he turns the volume down from his steering wheel.
"Work was good. I managed to sell two houses today, which means I have a large commission coming my way," he says before glancing over at you. "How about you, baby?"
"You call me baby a lot." You say with a grin before you speak again. "Work was work. The same job every day, sitting at a computer and entering numbers into a spreadsheet." He nods his head at your words before speaking again.
"I wish I had that stability in a job. Usually, I don't have time to get dinner with people because of the sporadic hours at work," he starts before his tongue glides along his lower lip. "But for some reason, you always call or text at the perfect time, which makes my work-life balance a lot better." He says with a smile. You smile before glancing up at him.
"I'm glad I'm making your life easier. You'd think our contract would make it more complicated."
"No, I've had one other friend with benefits... it wasn't an issue until the end." He says. You sense his tension and nod your head at his words before you look down at your hands remaining in your lap. You bite onto your lower lip and fiddle with your fingers as Jimin continues to drive in silence. The only noise to be heard throughout the car is the subtle singing coming from the radio. You look away from your fingers to glance outside, noticing the tiny raindrops forming on the window next to you. Leaning your body against the seat behind you, you stare at the tiny raindrops slipping down the window. They resembled tears fall down the face of someone crying.
Recomposing yourself, you look over at Jimin who's stopped at a red light, the brightness of the red hue casting on his face. He turns to you, causing the light to cast a shadow on his face as he stares at you. He slowly licks his lips as his eyes trail down to your lips. The lips that touched his a few weeks ago.
"Um, I just realized something." He arches a brow as he hears your words. His eyes dart up to meet your eyes as he tilts his head, waiting for you to speak. "I never told you what restaurant we're going to... yet we already started driving." You say before letting out a nervous laugh. A small smile forms on his face as he speaks.
"I thought that was because you wanted me to choose a restaurant," he says with a laugh before he looks at the red light once more. "We still have time to turn around if you want to pick the place?" he speaks gently.
"N-no, that's okay. I just thought it was funny because I thought you read my mind or something." You say before laughing. Jimin arches a brow again as he bites his lower lip. He glances down as he does so before his eyes meet your face once more.
"I've done it before at the grocery store... let's see if I did it again." His face remains deadly serious as he turns away from you, facing the light that has now turned green, resulting in him pressing his foot onto the gas pedal. Your lips part in shock as you see the determination in his eyes as he starts to speed off into the direction of a restaurant. A restaurant that you didn't have a clue about.
As Jimin drives, you smile to yourself as you think about his words before he pulls into a parking lot. Glancing up, you see the sign of a restaurant that you had never been to before. You furrow your eyebrows before turning to Jimin, mouth parted as you're ready to ask. Once your eyes catch sight of Jimin, he's already smiling in your direction as he waits for you to ask.
"What restaurant is this?" Jimin smiles widely, his eyes smiling along with him.
"Well, I'm not gonna lie to you... I kinda guessed on this one," he states before he looks into your eyes as he leans in a little, his voice lowering to a whisper. "I can't read your mind all the time, Y/N."
"So, you went with what your stomach said instead?" you ask as you smile softly. He shrugs for a moment before speaking.
"I cheated a little bit," he says before he speaks again. "I wanted some meat for dinner. However, this restaurant serves seafood, Korean food, and burgers as well." He says with a soft laugh. You sit up straight and lean a little closer to him and speak softly and innocently.
"Well, luckily for you, I'm in the mood for a burger." You say with a wide grin. Jimin's mouth copies your grin as licks his lips. "But I have one question."
"Oh, what's your question?"
"Do they serve cookies for dessert?" you ask with the widest grin on your face, causing Jimin to let out a laugh.

"I'll have a cheeseburger, please." You say with a smile on your face as you politely hand the menu towards the waiter. He glances over at Jimin as he waits for Jimin's order, a bored look on his face.
"Can I have a steak, medium rare, please?" the waiter nods his head as he takes Jimin's menu. Instead of asking Jimin what side he wants, he walks away bitterly. "Oh... well I was going to ask for a baked potato on the side, so hopefully that's what I end up with." Jimin says with a laugh before looking over at you while you sip on your drink. You smile in his direction before pulling away from your straw, pressing your lips together.
"If he gives you anything else, I'll help you finish it." You say with a smile before glancing down at your food, a soft laugh escaping your lips.

As you finished your meal, you look up at Jimin who was finishing his steak. He catches you staring, causing him to arch an eyebrow, placing both of his utensils onto his, now empty, plate. You watch as his jawline clenches and unclenches with each chew of the food in his mouth. A small smile forms on his lips as he sees your eyes move down to his lips.
"You know, baby," he says before leaning in a little. "I could always just take you home and we could skip the club." You gently bite onto your lower lip as you then shake your head. This causes Jimin's teasing smile to fade away.
"That wouldn't be any fun, would it?" you ask as he then leans back in his seat.
"I think it would," he mumbles before looking into your eyes, a now serious expression on his face. "I'm not going to lie to you. I don't understand why you have this... interest. You could have me the second you say you want me but choose not to. Is this a game to make me want you more? If so... damn it, it's working." He says as he licks his lips. You feel your breath hitch in your throat as you hear the lust in Jimin's voice, the way his voice lowered as he said those last few sentences.
Your mind immediately thinks about how you wanted him too. This game of yours was making it harder not to touch him. It's not that you can't touch him, you know you can. It's not that you don't want to touch him, because saying so would be the biggest lie to come out of your mouth.
It's that you know the minute you touch him this fantasy turns into a reality. Once it turns into a reality, the problems enter. First, you start getting jealous of little, insignificant things. Second, you find yourself feeling insecure knowing how attractive Jimin is and how he could get any girl he wanted. Third, you'll find yourself doubting if he wants you. Fourth, Jimin will get tired of you being jealous, insecure, and doubtful, and he'll find a different girl who isn't any of those things, only making your fears real.
Not again.
