VOWS OF HATRED...
CHAPTER 6
His love confession for Ashi in front of his mother's portrait had shaken Randeep to the core. He had never imagined that he would fall for his nemesis's daughter. He was here for revenge and this was not what he had anticipated to happen.
Ashi was just a pawn for him in his revenge plan. Then, how could he fall in love with her, was just beyond his imagination. He hadn't expected all this. Falling in love with Ashi was not in his plan, yet he had fallen heads over heels in love with her. And this scared him a lot.
Randeep didn't want any distractions for him while setting destruction for Singhania father-daughter duo, yet he was distracted because of HER.
Ashi had made a special place for herself in his broken heart against his wish and Randeep didn't know how to tackle this. All this had happened so fast that everything seemed out of control now.
Randeep only wanted revenge from them, especially Anand who was the cause of his mother's demise. And this unexpected change of his feelings towards his daughter had worsened the situation. He was in a fix of what to do ahead. How would he handle all this, when he was out only for revenge.
Randeep wasn't sure what to choose, his love for his mother or his love for Ashi? He couldn't compare. But he knew that he would've to make a choice soon. His love for both the women was true. One was his mother who had given birth to him and sacrificed a lot for his upbringing while the other was his true love who loved him selflessly without expecting anything in return. Even after Ashi had confessed her love, she hadn't expected his confession in return. This was her unconditional and selfless love for him which he couldn't avoid at all.
Randeep still had one and a half month left for his marriage with Ashi and he didn't know how he would keep his desire in check around her. Last night, he had almost lost control on his senses and claimed her. But his sane mind had won over his desires and he had stopped himself at the right time from claiming her. And now, he was worried if he could maintain any distance from her.
Ashi too was aware of his desire for her and she herself couldn't stay away from him either. He remembered how she had almost surrendered herself completely in the heat of the moment. If his sane mind hadn't stopped him, he would've claimed her completely and made her his in every way possible.
Randeep didn't sleep that entire night. His mind kept him awake. He had to make a decision soon for his own sanity. He couldn't betray his mother by choosing Ashi, but he also didn't want to give up on his true love. Her selfless and unconditional love had woken up that yearning and desire in him that he had never felt for anyone before. This new experience had changed everything for him.
Thinking and battling with his mind and heart, Randeep finally came to a conclusion. He wanted to live once for his love and he would make this one and a half month special for him and Ashi. After their marriage, he would focus only on his revenge. He couldn't avoid the betrayal that his mother had underwent because of Anand. He would never spare him, that was for sure. Even if he would've to hurt Ashi for this, he would do that for his mother. But all this would've to wait till their wedding, till then he was going to make good memories with his love that he would cherish forever.
Randeep was aware of the conclusion that his revenge will have on their lives. He couldn't stay with Ashi forever. That was his decided fate. So, he wanted to live, love and enjoy this limited time with her completely. His revenge plan was set and he would work on it after marriage, till then he was going to live his life with his Ashi happily.
The decision was clear in his mind and he was set to enjoy whatever he got during this one and a half month. Till that time, he wouldn't think of any revenge from her. This time was theirs and he was going to spend it happily and make it memorable for himself. He was destined for this much happiness only. And he was not going to lose it at any cost.
On the other end, Ashi was happy that her love was back to her. She reminisced the memories of the last night. The desperation to be with him, the craving she had for him, all had come to the fore. She had missed him too much. She didn't want to stay away from him, but till their wedding, she will have to keep the distance for his sake.
Ashi had seen the desire in his eyes clearly and felt his yearning for her. Randeep wanted to wait till their wedding but she didn't want him to wait. She was his forever and she had no objections if he would've claimed her last night.
But the moment he had told her to wait till their wedding, she wanted to honor his wish. But how could she maintain this distance? She herself couldn't stay away from him even for a moment. She wanted to enjoy this phase of her life, the phase between their engagement and the marriage. And she was not going to miss it at all.
The next morning was full of happiness and hope for the couple as Randeep was set to spend some quality time with his Ashi. He regretted the time that he missed fighting with himself. But now no more, he wasn't going to ignore her or his desire to be with her. He was going to live this limited time with her and cherish it.
As soon as Randeep was ready for the day, he made all the arrangements for them and left towards the Singhania house. Ashi was in for a great surprise. He made sure that he spent all his time with her till their wedding.
Anand was aware of Randeep's plans and so, he waited at the breakfast table for his would-be son-in-law to make his appearance. Ashi was still in the kitchen preparing the feast ordered by her father.
When Ashi had come downstairs, her father had told her to prepare some delicious dishes for breakfast. When she had asked if they were having guests, he had reasoned that someone special was going to join them for the meal and she was supposed to cook.
This felt like a dejavu. She recalled the time when Randeep had come for dinner for the first time at her place and she had cooked that day too upon her father's insistence.
Ashi was desperate to meet Randeep. She had decided to visit his office today and spend some time with him. But this sudden change in her plans was frustrating her. She couldn't refuse her father's requests for preparing the breakfast.
Anand enjoyed the look of annoyance on his daughter's face. He had deliberately not revealed that her fiancé was going to join them for breakfast. He wanted to see the glee on her face when Randeep would stand before her in some time.
Anand recalled the conversation with his would-be son-in-law who had asked him for his permission to take Ashi on a holiday before they got busy with their wedding preparations. Anand had no worries when Ashi would be in the safe hands of Randeep. He trusted him with his daughter.
Once Ashi was done with the preparations, she was all soaked in sweat. Looking at her, Anand chuckled, "Ashi... jao... jaldi fresh hokar aa jaao. Guest aate hi honge."
Ashi ran to her room to freshen up. She didn't know why but she felt as if Randeep would be coming for the breakfast and so, her father had asked her to make the meal herself. Though she was annoyed at first that her own father didn't disclose about the guest, but she was sure that it would be Randeep and so, she had prepared the meal according to his taste.
Ashi took a quick shower and the moment she opened the washroom door, she stood frozen at her place. There he was, the man of her dreams, sitting on her bed, waiting for her.
Randeep had seen Ashi rushing to her room to freshen up and had followed her after greeting Anand who was more than happy with his arrival. Anand went to his study room to attend a call with his sister in London.
When Randeep entered her room, he heard the sound of water running in the washroom and decided to wait for her. He noticed all the things around her room keenly to know more about her likes. Everything related to her mattered to him and he was going to take proper note of it.
When the sound of water stopped, Randeep waited patiently for Ashi to make her appearance. The door clicked opened and he stopped breathing the moment his gaze collided with hers. He sucked in a deep breath as he saw her wrapped in a light pink robe.
It was torturous for him to see her in that state. He noticed the drops of water that ran from her neck and disappeared inside her robe. He got up from the bed slowly and made his way towards her while Ashi stood there in a daze waiting for him.
Ashi wasn't sure if she was hallucinating or was his presence real. But as soon as Randeep stood in front of her, she realized that he was there for real.
Ashi inhaled his musky fragrance and was lost in that moment while Randeep fisted his hands at his sides to stop himself from hurling her in his arms.
Their gazes locked on each other while a lot of things went through their minds. One waited patiently for him to move, while the other stopped himself from reaching out to her.
As Randeep noticed few drops of water making its way again, he lost the battle with himself and pulled Ashi in his arms. He captured those drops of water with his lips making Ashi moan softly.
Ashi gripped his shoulders tightly as she felt his lips touch her neck. She was so lost in his touch that she didn't realize that his fingers were fiddling with the knot of her robe.
Randeep resisted the urge to open that knot and pulled her straight in his arms. Wrapping his hands around her, he crushed his desires once again. Ashi could feel his resistance but she didn't voice it out in any way. She was going to be with him in whatever he decided for them.
They stayed in each other's warmth for few more minutes calming themselves. Randeep halfheartedly left her while Ashi watched him adoringly. She couldn't believe that he was resisting only for the sake of her father's trust on him. She felt herself lucky to have him in her life as her better half.
Randeep palmed her cheeks, "Good morning, Jaan..." Her heartbeats stopped as soon as she heard that sweet endearment. She couldn't believe her ears. Had he really called her Jaan? He had never called her in such a manner. And now, when he had called her his Jaan, she was on cloud nine.
Randeep watched her expressions change and the wetness in her eyes. He knew what he had said and he had meant it with all his heart. He was not going to leave any stone unturned to make her happy in the upcoming days till their wedding. He was going to give her all the happiness that she deserved from him only till their wedding. After their marriage, everything was going to change and he wanted to live and love her till the deadline approached. He was going to live his life for these limited days.
Randeep wiped the corner of her eyes, "Jaan... ab se shaadi tak no rona dhona... tumhari aankhon mein sirf khushi hi khushi honi chahiye. Inn aansoon ke liye koi jagah nahi hai abhi..." She nodded still under the effect of that endearment.
Randeep kissed her forehead, "Chalo... ab jaldi se ready ho jaao. Mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai. I am sure tumne mere liye kuch khaas hi banaaya hoga."
Tiptoeing a little, Ashi kissed him on his cheek, "Haan... maine tumhare liye special kuch banaaya hai. Ab tum jaao, main jaldi se taiyaar hokar neeche aati hun. Fir hum sab saath mein breakfast karte hai."
Randeep pulled her back in his arms, "Itni bhi kya jaldi hai. Main abhi toh aaya hun." He whispered, "Abhi toh tumhare liye kapde bhi select karne hai."
Ashi stood stunned in his arms. Was he really going to pick a dress for her? She couldn't be happier than this. This was a surprise cum shock for her. She had always thought that after marriage she would pick clothes for him every day, but him doing this today made it more special for her. She had never imagined this at all. She loved this version of loving Randeep Raichand more.
Randeep pulled her towards her wardrobe and opened it, keeping her by his side. "Ab main bataata hun ki aaj meri Jaan kya pehnegi." Leaving her hand, he started looking at all the outfits that were hanging in there.
After shuffling all the hangers here and there, Randeep finally found something that made him smile. He pulled out the dark blue cotton salwar suit for her. "Yeh lo... aaj tum yeh pehnogi."
Ashi looked at the simple dress and smiled. This was her favorite color, but did he have any idea about this. She shrugged that thought away and took the dress in her hands. "Main abhi ready ho jaati hun. Tum... tum neeche jaao. Paa akele wait kar rahe honge."
Randeep narrowed his eyes, "Tum mujhe neeche bhagaa rahi ho. Kyun? Tum... tum mere saamne ready ho sakti ho. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai." He continued his teasing making her turn red in seconds.
Ashi kept her hands on her waist, "Randeep... tum... tum neeche jaao. Main... main ready hokar neeche aa jaaungi. Paa tumhara wait kar rahe honge." Then something struck her, "Paa ko pataa hai ki tum yahaan mere room mein ho? Wohh... wohh humare baare mein kya sochenge? Tum... tum abhi ke abhi neeche jaao, Randeep... Please..."
Randeep chuckled, "Haan... tumhare Paa ko pataa hai ki main yahaan tumhare saath tumhare room mein hun. And don't worry, wohh aisa waisa kuch nahi sochenge kyunki wohh khud busy hai call par. Aur waise bhi... tum meri fiancé ho. Toh hamare baare mein kaun kya sochta hai, isse mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Aur tumhe bhi farak nahi padna chahiye."
Closing the distance between them, Randeep continued, "We are getting married Ashi and I think we should know each other better. Yeh jo phase hai naa, engagement aur wedding ke beech ka, yeh main tumhare saath enjoy karna chaahta hun. Don't spoil it Ashi... this is our time to know each other. So, let's just spend it together."
Ashi was stunned to silence with his words. She too had thought the same to enjoy this phase between their engagement and marriage. How did he know that she too was thinking on the same lines? She was surprised that he too had the same thoughts about it.
Before she could say anything, Randeep once again opened the wardrobe and started opening the drawers. Ashi stood confused while he kept searching for something. Then when he was about to open the last drawer, she swiftly held his hand to stop him, "Randeep... tum... tum kya kar rahe ho? Yeh... yeh sab drawers kyun khol rahe ho?"
Randeep took her in a side hug and whispered, "Dress toh select kar li, ab kuch aur bhi choose kar lun." He said eyeing the drawer that she had stopped him from opening. Ashi turned red in a spur of a moment again.
Ashi replied shyly, "Uss... uski zarurat nahi hai Randeep... I can do it on my own." Randeep didn't let her go and whispered again, "Zarurat hai Ashi. I will be the only one to choose for you, Jaan..." Saying that, he kissed her earlobe.
Pulling her by his side again, Randeep opened that drawer and selected the undergarments for her too making her blush once again. "Abhi ke liye neeche jaa raha hun, par yaad rakhna, shaadi ke baad main kuch nahi sununga, tabhi tumhe mere saamne hi ready hona hoga, to be Mrs Ashi Randeep Raichand..."
As soon as the words were out, Randeep too realized what he had said. He left her room quietly after kissing her softly on her cheeks. He thought to himself, "Kya wohh din kabhi aayega jab main shaadi ke baad Ashi ko meri aankhon ke saamne taiyaar hote hue dekh paaunga?" He pushed that thought away and focused on the present day. He was going to live his present with her, their future can wait for now.
He joined Anand at the dining table and both started speaking about the business. Soon, Ashi joined them for breakfast. Randeep was happy to see her serving his favorite meal to him. He fell for her some more after watching her in the dress that he had selected for her.
Ashi looked fabulous in that blue attire. He loved blue on her. Every color suited her, but blue brought the best glow on her face. It reflected her innocence, her calmness, her refreshing and friendly character, her strong and reliable nature.
When they were done with the meal, Randeep started, "Ashi... mere saath chalo... mujhe tumhare saath kuch work related baatein discuss karni hai. Office jaate jaate baatein ho jaayengi." He took blessings from Anand and left with Ashi towards his destination.
All the way, Randeep kept Ashi busy with the business talks while Ashi didn't realize that they were not on the way to their office but towards the airport. As soon as the car stopped at the entrance, Ashi noticed the surroundings.
With a questioning look, Ashi raised her eyebrows, "Hum airport kyun aaye hai? Kisiko pick karna hai?" Taking a pause, she asked again, "Tum... tum waapis kahin jaa rahe ho? Randeep... tum... tum aise kaise waapis mujhe akela chodkar jaa sakte ho? You know I can't live without you now. I don't want to stay away from you Randeep." She just couldn't contain her frustration now.
Randeep kept his finger on her lips to stop her ramblings, "Ashi... pehle shaant ho jaao. Aur meri baat dhyaan se suno. Main akele kahin nahi jaa raha Ashi... Hum... hum jaa rahe hai. Ab baaki ki baatein hum baad mein karenge . Abhi chalein. We are already getting late."
Ashi turned speechless and followed Randeep quietly. She had lots of questions for him and she knew she wouldn't get any answers for them now. She would've to wait for that.
After completing all the formalities, Randeep held her hand and walked towards his waiting private jet. He was aware that Ashi must've many questions for him, but for now, he was happy that she hadn't asked him anything and was accompanying him without any qualms. He could clearly feel the trust and love that she had put on him so selflessly.
Once inside the jet, Ashi looked around the luxurious surroundings. She had travelled a lot in planes but she had never travelled in a private jet. So, this was a new experience for her.
Randeep watched her tenderly while she kept taking in the beautiful setting. He felt happy that he was the one giving her this first experience in a private jet. Anand had told him that she had never travelled in any private aircrafts and then he had made this plan for her.
They settled in front of each other while the pilot announced the take-off. All the while Randeep kept looking at her lovingly. He was set to give her the best holiday before they got busy with their wedding preparations. His time with her was limited and he wasn't going to waste it at all. Whatever happiness he was destined, he was going to take it and give it back to her too.
When finally, the plane was stable and they could set themselves free from the seatbelts, Randeep stood up from his seat and offered her his hand.
Ashi held his hand with a smile while he walked her to the private bedroom on the jet. Once inside the room, Ashi hugged him tightly and finally, the questions tumbled out of her mouth one by one.
"Hum kahaan jaa rahe hai? Paa ko pataa bhi hai ki hum aise kahin jaa rahe hain? Hamare business ka kya hoga? Bohot important meetings attend karni thi hume, unka kya hoga? Tum... tum chup kyun ho Randeep? Jawaab do naa..."
Before Ashi could question some more, Randeep stopped her rants by kissing her passionately. He had missed her and had wanted to kiss her senseless since he had seen her wearing the light pink robe in the morning.
Ashi reciprocated his kiss with equal fervor. Their resistance of getting close to each other finally shattering into pieces. When they came up for air, Randeep took her in a warm hug, feeling at home.
After few minutes, Randeep replied, "Tumhare Paa ko pataa hai ki hum kahaan jaa rahe hai. Maine unse subah hi permission le li thi. Aur jahaan tak baat hai hamare business ki, wohh sab ke baare mein tumhe abhi sochne ki zarurat nahi hai. Bohot log hai jo hamare absence mein kaam acche se sambhaal lenge. Aur jo important meetings thi, unhe maine re-schedule kar diya hai. So, you don't have to worry about anything, Jaan... Let's just enjoy this time together..."
Ashi snuggled closer in his warmth, "Ok... Baaki sab toh thik hai, par tumne ab tak yeh nahi bataaya ki hum kahaan jaa rahe hai."
Randeep had expected this, "Jaan... let this be a surprise, please... Bas thodi der mein tumhe pataa chal jaayega ki hum kahaan jaa rahe hai. Thoda patience rakh lo, mere liye, please..."
Ashi agreed. She had never expected Randeep to give her such a beautiful surprise. The mention that he had asked for her father's permission, had made her fall for him even more. He surprised her every single time with such gestures.
No one would've expected that 'The Randeep Raichand' would ever ask for permissions to take his own fiancé for a vacation. The ruthless businessman in him had disappeared since he had met his love, Ashi thought with a smile. This changed version of Randeep was her favorite. And she hoped to see this version of him even more after their marriage.
Randeep kept her busy with his talks but didn't tell her anything about the destination. And Ashi too had given up on it, she didn't want to spoil his surprise.
After over two hours, the pilot announced for the landing and the couple got seated again. Ashi wanted to peak out to get some hint about the destination, but she resisted.
As soon as the plane landed, Randeep blindfolded Ashi who was more curious to know about their destination.
"Do you trust me Ashi?", Randeep asked even when he was aware of her reply.
"I trust you more than anything in the world Randeep.", came her reply which pricked him somewhere in his heart. This happiness was not forever, he knew, yet he wanted to steal this time for himself.
Randeep picked her up in his arms and descended the stairs carefully. Ashi couldn't contain the happiness that she was feeling with his gesture. She felt on top of the world.
After walking for few minutes, Randeep finally set her on ground and opened the blindfold. Ashi opened her eyes slowly while Randeep stood next to her, watching her expectantly.
And what she saw took her breath away. Before she could say anything, Randeep spoke, "Jaan... tumhe bohot time se yahaan aana tha naa? Maine socha ki main hi tumhe yahaan le aata hun. I hope ki tum mere saath yahaan enjoy karogi. Toh kaisa lagaa mera surprise?"
Her eyes turned misty and she flung herself in his arms, "Thank you so much Randeep. Main... main bataa nahi sakti ki main aaj yahaan aakar kitni khush hun. Main bohot time se yahaan aana chaahti thi, par kabhi time hi nahi nikaal paayi."
Randeep hugged her more tightly, "You don't have to thank me, Jaan. Maine wohi kiya jo main tumhare liye karna chaahta tha. I know peechle kuch hafton se tum mere behavior se hurt hui ho. Main tumhare saath thik se time nahi bitaa paa raha tha, par ab aur nahi. Ab se agle dus din hum yahin saath rahenge. Jo time humne miss kiya, uske liye yeh compensation sahi hai. Kyun hai naa?"
Ashi hummed in response, "Waise tumhe kaise pataa chala ki mujhe bohot time se Maldives aana tha?" Randeep loosened his hold on her, "Tumhare Paa ne bataaya." And he explained how he had called up Anand early in the morning and asked for her favorite places. It was during this conversation that Anand had disclosed that Ashi had wanted to visit Maldives, but she never got a chance.
Randeep had then asked for his permission and planned the entire surprise in an hour. He had wanted to take her abroad but after hearing about her wish to visit Maldives, he had finalized it. And now, after watching her happiness, Randeep knew he had made the right choice.
Randeep pulled her in a side hug and whispered, "Jaan... yahin khade rehne ka iraada hai kya? Ummm...abhi yahaan se chalein... hamare room mein jaakar aage ka schedule decide karenge."
"Haan chalo... I am so excited to be here Randeep. Thank you so much for bringing me here. I am so so happy...", Ashi couldn't contain the happiness that she was feeling.
Randeep brought her to the well-furnished private villa reserved for them through a seaplane. All the while, his eyes stayed on his love, who was more than happy to be here with him.
Ashi was fond of water and so, she was fascinated with this place. Maldives was on her list to visit soon, and now, Randeep had made it come true with this surprise.
Ashi was overwhelmed when she entered their private villa which was surrounded by water from all sides. She found herself as if she was living her dream.
At the corner of the living room, she saw few luggage bags and she swiftly turned to face him, "Randeep... maine toh koi packing nahi ki thi. Toh yeh sab, I mean mera saamaan yahaan kaise aaya?"
Randeep took her in a back hug, "Jaan... yeh sab maine subah hi arrange kar liya tha. All the stuff is new. Direct boutique se bag mein yahaan aaya hai."
Turning her swiftly in his arms, he continued, "Ab se tum mere pasand ke dresses hi pehnogi. Isliye toh aaj yeh dress bhi maine select kiya tha tumhare liye. And I am sure you will love my choices too."
Ashi locked her gaze with his, "I Love You Randeep... Always and Forever..." Randeep could hold no longer and confessed, "I Love You too Jaan... Always and Forever..."
Saying that, he kissed her slowly sealing their fates together. The happy tears made its ways from her eyes which landed on their locked lips.
Randeep understood her so well and peppered kisses on her cheeks wiping those tears away. "I Love You Ashi... I Love You so much Jaan... Mujhe pataa hi nahi chala ki kab main tumse itna pyaar karne lagaa. You are the only one who rules my heart Ashi... you will be the only one for me..."
Ashi snaked her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. She had waited for his confession. She knew that he was not as expressive as it seemed. It took a lot from him to confess this in words. She had never thought that she would get his confession at her favorite place so soon.
Ashi had seen his affection, care and most important, desire in his eyes for her, but she never expected that he would confess his feelings so soon. She promised herself that she would fulfil all his wishes and keep him happy. This was going to be her small happy world.
Randeep was feeling lighthearted after confessing his love to her. He had wanted to wait to acknowledge his feelings but he couldn't resist anymore. His Ashi was a pure innocent soul who was full of selfless and unconditional love. How could he stop himself from expressing his love for her?
Randeep meant what he had told her. She was going to be his one and only love in his life and she would be the only one to rule his heart forever. Even after taking his revenge, she would be the only one who would reside in his heart. He wouldn't allow anyone else to take her place in his life, he vowed to himself.
This holiday was the only thing that would bring happiness for them. Randeep was aware of this truth while Ashi wasn't aware of the storm that she would face after their wedding which would wreck her loving world...
How was the update?
Ab shaadi se pehle thoda romance toh hona chahiye...
I just couldn't jump to their marriage and continue his hatred.
There should be something that would make Randeep crave for her after his revenge.
He doesn't hate her, he doesn't want to avenge her, its only because of the circumstances that he is going to use her as his pawn to take his revenge from Anand.
Let's see if his love changes his path of revenge or his hatred for Anand will win over his love...
What do you think about it?
Let me know in the comments section.
I will update 'In Search of Her' in the next few days...
