DEBATE: Should Clone Force 99 Return in the HC Series? [CLOSED]
While the members of Clone Force 99 appear in the Hyrule Chronicles Series, they aren't actually a team anymore.
Their swan song was saving Omega and Crosshair from Dr. Hemlock's clutches. After doing that, they settled down in Hyrule, still recovering from losing one of their teammates and brother.
So...should Clone Force 99 (The Bad Batch) reform?
Hyrule will be facing one of its biggest challenges in the last two HC books, so maybe it's time to bring them back?
Here's some info about them for people who haven't the show:
- They had a 100% success rate.
- They are a team of defective clones each with special abilities (all except Echo).
Members:
- Hunter: The Sergeant of the Bad Batch. He has enhanced senses, meaning he can sense frequencies and hear much more than an average person. He acts as the team's Sergeant and map.
- Crosshair: A Clone Commando of the Bad Batch. He has exceptional eyesight, meaning he can hit targets from very, very far away. He acts as the Marksman/Sniper of the team.
- Wrecker: A Clone Commando of the Bad Batch. He has enhanced strength, meaning he can lift much more than an average person. He is strong enough to throw an average
adult several metres in the air.
- Echo: A clone that joined the Bad Batch after surviving an unfortunate accident. He was believed to be dead by the Republic during the War after he was caught in the explosion of the Citadel, but he survived and was used by the Separatists to gather intel on the Republic's battle strategies.
The Bad Batch, along with Clone Captain Rex and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, saved Echo, who was now more machine than man. Echo felt that he didn't belong with the regs and chose to go with the Bad Batch. He acts as a technician and fighter fit the team.
- Tech: A Clone Commando. He has an enhanced mind, meaning he is practically a genius. He acts as as the technician, brains and pilot for the team. He is one of the reasons that the team is so successful.
- Omega: A female clone without excelled aging. She is the child of the team and is often heavily protected by her younger* brothers.
So, what do you think? Do they return, or not?
*Omega is older than all of the Bad Batch (even Echo). The reason being is that she doesn't have excelled aging, meaning she ages the same as an average human. She is actually 12-13 years old, where the rest of the team are probably only about 6-9 years old biologically.
