(The new paladins yawn themselves awake. Clover, however, still snoozes on his beanbag.)

Kibra, shaking him lightly: Clover. Clover...

Shinka, pretending: Clover, I made your breakfast!

Clover, waking up instantly: Huh?! What?

(Shinka smirks and shrugs at them, then they go their separate ways to get dressed.)

Scarlett: I can't believe it, Karma! We're going back to Earth!

Karma: Scarlett, we haven't been on Earth for a mere couple of weeks.

Scarlett, picking up her hairbrush: Yeah, but I miss it a lot...you know? Space isn't the s-

Kibra, opening the door again: Shinka's just realised that she hasn't actually got any clothes to wear.

Karma, sarcastically: Oh, what a tragedy!

Kibra: Come on. I need your help, I have no idea what to give her.

Clover, hearing the conversation from outside: I've got some clothes she could wear.

Scarlett, suddenly caring: I've got clothes, too!

(They rush into Kibra's room, Karma just leans on the wall watching them squabble over what Shinka could wear.)

Shinka: Stop! I don't want you to argue over me-it's just clothes.

Kibra: Scarlett, let Shinka decide.

Scarlett: Aw, that was fun though.

(Shinka grabs a mix of clothes and disappears into her little side-room. A few minutes later, she comes out in Clover's blue/turquoise Ombre shirt, Scarlett's lilac galaxy leggings and Kibra's black choker.)

Kibra: That's a surprisingly good combination.

Shinka: I never thought I would like Earth clothes.

Karma: Wait-It's missing something.

(She rushes out and arrives holding a black leather jacket similar to the one she's currently wearing.)

Scarlett: How many of those do you have?!

Karma, ignoring Scarlett: Try it on.

(Shinka lifts it on, and it fits her perfectly.)

Clover: Wow...

Karma: That's better.

Shinka: Thank you! I feel like you might be...what do you call it-the people that aren't enemies and are closer than allies?

Clover: Pets?

Scarlett: Lovers?

Kibra, looking confused at the others: Friends. The word is friends.

Shinka: Yes. Friends.

(Scarlett hugs Shinka, but she pushes her off.)

Scarlett: Don't tell me you have no idea what a hug is.

Shinka: No, we're just not there yet.

(Karma and Kibra laugh.)

The Castle-Ship's Helm

(Matt stares at Shinka as she walks in, and Pidge elbows him in the arm.)

Matt, rubbing his arm: Ow!

Scarlett: Coran, are we there yet?

Coran: Nearly.

Shinka, looking around: Where's my parents?

Coran: ...Oh. Erm...

Shinka, crossing her arms: Coran?

Coran: They'll be here in a minute.

Scarlett: My parents aren't here either.

Coran: Ah. Lance and Keith are at the pool. It isn't out of bones any more.

Kibra: Why? Aren't we going to the beach on earth today?!

Shiro: That's Lance for you though.

Coran: That reminds me, I brought you each a swimming costume from the mall.

Scarlett: But you were singing with us..how did you have enough time?

(Coran just twiddles his moustache and winks.)

Coran: They should be in the bottom of your wardrobes.

Karma: Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna go kill time in the Altean pool.

Shinka: I haven't swam in ages!

Scarlett: Yeah, wait for me.

Clover: I haven't got anything else to do.

(They walk out excitedly, and Matt stares after them.)

Pidge: Don't even think about it.

Matt, smiling and running after them: Fun isn't that bad, Pidge! You should try it!

(Hunk rocks back and forth desperately, then heads after Matt.)

Shiro: Eh, what harm can it do?

Adam: A lot if you don't take your arm off.

Shiro: Adam, it's waterproof.

Adam: Sure, Takashi.

Shiro: It is!

(The door shut behind them.)

Pidge: So what do we do now?

Coran, proudly: We swim.

Pidge: Agreed!

Coran: Good luck, Slav!

Slav: ...What?

(Shiro and Adam almost bump into the new paladins and Hunk who are staring up at something. When they step to the side, they see the pool is somehow on the celing, and Keith and Lance are splashing each other in the water. Shinka and Matt are trying to climb a white ladder, but whenever they reach the top, they can't jump into the pool.)

(Pidge arrives and stands beside them, troubled, but Coran runs past them, climbs one of the ladders and flings himself into the pool. Matt and Shinka groan frustratedly.)

 Matt: How did you two get up there?

Keith: It's a long story.

Shiro: Hey! Lover-boys! We want to swim too!

Lance: We hovered up, grabbed the edge of the pool and threw ourselves in!

Pidge: Really?!

Scarlett: Hang on, you stole our suits?

Lance: No, we found out Allura had spares in case we lost them or something happened.

Keith: Talking of Allura, where is she?

(Everyone looks at Coran.)

Coran: Oh, come on! ...I'll go get them.

(He throws himself out of the pool, and when he hits the ground he suddenly turns dry.)

Scarlett: Woah...

(Matt and Shinka step back down, and stand beside everyone else.)

Kibra: I have my black suit, Scarlett, Karma and Clover have theirs.

Pidge: Hunk and I have our suits.

Adam, to Shiro: I can hold onto you when you fly up.

Shiro: Can you?

Adam: I can try.

Shinka: Then how are Matt and I going to get up?

(Matt looks at her with an idea, then Shinka returns the glance.)

Coran, speaking through the castle's comms: Allura! Lotor! Shinka's drowning in the Altean pool! We can't up to save her! Oh no!

(Allura and Lotor rush into the pool room, flustered in their robes.)

Allura: Shinka?

Shinka: Hi, mother.

Allura: Coran!

Coran: We needed to wake you up. We're having a quick dip in the pool and we didn't want you to miss out.

Lotor: Is that all? I thought our daughter was dying!

Lance, calling from above: Allura! Come and join us!

Allura, looking pleadingly at Lotor: Come on, Lotor! We have lots of time to kill.

Lotor: You would go even if I disagreed.

Allura: Of course I would.

Lotor: It wasn't exactly on my bucket list, but why not?

Allura: Lance, I accept your request.

Lance, bowing and dunking his head in the water: Thank you, Princess.

Allura: I'll get our suits.

Lotor: Our?

Allura: It should still fit.

Matt, to Shinka with one hand around her, and the other holding the pole: Are you ready?

Shinka: Are you?

Matt: Eh, you're not that heavy.

(Matt presses a button that extends the pole, and rises up, his shorts blowing in invisible air. When they reach the pool's surface, they keep going and sink into the water. Matt still holds onto Shinka to stop her from drowning, but when they re-surface he loses his grip of the pole; which returns to its normal size.)

Matt, breathing heavily: It worked!

Shinka: Whoo!

(Coran flings himself back into the pool, and splashes everyone. Keith's wet hair sticks to his eyes, and Lance tucks it behind his ear.)

Lance: See? I told you mullets are ridiculous.

Keith: You say that like I didn't know that you've told me before.

(Coran dives in and out of the water, and Matt and Shinka splash each other.)

Shinka: Are you gulping the water? You're hot supposed to, I mean, not supposed to drink it.

Karma, looking up: Is anyone else getting the feeling that Matt and Shinka have a thing for each other?

Kibra: Hmm-hmm.

Clover, leaving to get their suits: Not it I have anything to say about it.
