Coran: -I'd love to hear it, but we're here!

(Shiro and Adam sigh in relief.)

Lance, seeing the mall's exterior: Whoo!

(They step into the space mall, except for Slav-who insisted on staying with the ship, in case it gets stolen. Keith smiles, Hunk jumps in the air when he sees Vrepit Sal's and Lance just gapes in awe at all of it again.)

Pidge: Good thing I installed those plug sockets, eh? Now we can see what other games there are!

Keith: You two actually have money?

(Their excited expressions stop and they look at each other, then glance at Keith in dismay.)

Hunk: Hey, I know a way to earn money!

Scarlett: But what are we going to do?

Karma: We could just browse.

Coran: I'll join you!

Clover: I'll go with you, Shinka.

Shinka, turning into her human form: ...You want to go with me?

Clover: ...Yeah.

Kibra: I'll join you.

Allura: I guess I'll stay with Shiro and Adam. Matt?

Matt: I'll stay with you, princess.

Allura, to everyone: Meet back at the entrance in two varga!

Scarlett, Karma and Coran's Karaoke Session

Karma, standing in front of a room full of screens, microphones and aliens: ...Cool.

Coran: Hmm. It's like a singing fest.

Scarlett, running inside: Karaoke!

Coran, following them: Carry-oky?

Karma: Yeah. You watch a screen that shows lyrics, and sing the lyrics into a microphone.

(Different signs hang above them, and they run underneath one labelled 'Humans'. The room is completely empty. They run up to one of the screens, Coran still looking a bit confused. Scarlett hops up first, and scans through the list of songs.)

Scarlett: Zero...You make my dreams...Wish upon a star...Ah-ha!

Karma: Ah-Ha? Where?

Scarlett: No, I mean, ah-ha, My Chemical Romance!

Karma: Oh!!

Scarlett: Grab a mic-there's a spare.

(She grabs it, and they squeal excitedly. The song starts to play, staring with a G note. The lyrics appear on the screen.)

Scarlett/Karma: When I was a young boy, my father, took me into the city, to see a marching band, he said-son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned...

Shiro, Allura and Adam's Water-Feature Shop Visit

Allura: What are they?

Shiro: They're fountains.

Adam: Water features, actually.

Shiro: Same thing.

Adam: They're completely different, Takashi.

Allura: Can we have a look?

Matt: Why not?

(They walk around, looking at the different shaped fountains and coloured water. Allura's fingers trickle in a pool full of koi fish.)

Allura: They're beautiful.

Adam, staring at a small, upside-down waterfall: It's very tranquil in here.

Matt, stroking a moss covered feature: Yeah, I agree.

Allura: I wonder if my daughter's having as much fun as we are.

Kibra, Clover and Shinka's Arcade Visit

Clover, seeing a mass of flashing lights coming from a dark room: Look! An arcade!

Shinka: Arcade?

Kibra: Awesome.

Shinka: What's an arcade?!

(She follows them inside and they go towards a separate bit with a banner saying 'Earth Games'.)

Shinka: Earth? Games? I am so confused.

Kibra: Earth is the planet where Clover and I come from. Where humans live.

Clover: A video game is a electronic device that you play for your own entertainment. You can also play board games which are not electric.

Shinka, smiling awkwardly: Oh! Thank you.

Kibra: No problem.

Clover, rushing to a console: Look! Donkey Kong!

Kibra: I'm going on Space Invaders.

Clover: Really? But we kinda defeat ships and aliens in real life.

Kibra: Not yet we don't.

Clover: Oh, we don't have any money!

Kibra, flicking her and Shinka a coin: Yeah we do. My dad gave me some before we left.

Clover, slotting the credit in: Thanks.

Shinka: Pac-Man?

Clover, pushing his glasses up: You're a little yellow circle that has to eat all the dots and fruit without getting caught by the ghosts. If you eat a bigger dot, the ghosts turn blue, and you can eat them too. It's simple, really-have a go.

(She shrugs and slits the coin into the machine. A few minutes later, 'GAME OVER' flashes on Clover and Kibra's screens. They groan frustratedly then look over to Shinka, who is on level 7 of Pac-Man.)

Clover: Wha-?! How are you doing so well?!

(Shinka doesn't talk to break her concentration.)

Kibra, smiling: Beginner's luck.

(A crowd forms around her, then eventually, she is on level 16. A voice blares loudly from the room beside them, and the crowd disappears. Kibra peers into where the crowd are headed.)

Kibra: Is that Coran?!

Clover: Singing karaoke? Yeah, you're not hearing things.

(Shinka looks around, and Blinky catches her. She looks disappointed, then smiles and follows the others.)

Coran, mid-song: ...Feel the beat of the tambourine, oh yeah! You can dance! You can ji-ive! Having the time of your life, ooh-ooh-ooh, see that girl, watch that scene, digging the dancing queen!

(Everyone claps and cheers, then the crowd parts. Coran sets the microphone down, then checks the row of different clocks near the entrance.)

Coran: Blimey! It's been two varga already! We have to go and meet the others at the entrance!

(Scarlett, Karma, Clover and Kibra all hug their parents. Shinka stands alone sadly, trying not to concentrate on the paladin's hugs with their fathers. Allura is too busy talking to Coran to notice that Shinka takes one last look at them, then turns and walks away. Never looking back again.)
