(Scarlett yawns awake, and Karma follows suit. Shinka however, remains soundly asleep.)

Scarlett: ...Should we wake her up?

Karma: No, leave her. I'm sure Allura will rouse her when she's ready.

Scarlett: You're too nice.

Karma: You obviously don't know me well enough.

(They leave, and she closes the door after her; shadowing Shinka in darkness. She suddenly tosses and turns, nightmares swirling around in her mind.)

Allura: Shinka, what's wrong? Shinka?! No! No! No, don't! This isn't you! Please see sense!

(She raises her arms to shield herself from something, fear surrounding her eyes. Shinka bolts up, breathing heavily. When she calms, she remembers yesterday, and puts her teal and black curved one-suit. She stand in front of their mirror and looks at the desk. Taking Scarlett's hair brush, she straightens her scrambled hair, and steps into the light of the hallway.)

(Everyone stands in an arch where Allura and Shiro speaking to the rest of their team. Matt's head whips round to the sound of footsteps, seeing Shinka's new state. Clover turns too, his bottom lip almost reaching the ground.)

Clover: Woahhh...

Matt: She's beautiful...

(Shinka smiles at them both, and Scarlett rolls her eyes.)

Shinka, quietly so she can't be heard by Allura: What's the matter, Human? Not getting all the attention for once?

Karma: Just leave her alone.

Scarlett: Karma, I can stick up for myself.

Karma: Then stop being jealous.

Scarlett, going red: I'm not jealous!

Karma: Yes, you are!

Scarlett: She attacked our fathers! I have every right to be mad at her!

Karma: I'm surprised you're not actually mad at me for once!

Scarlett: That's over-reacting. I'm barely ever angry at you!

Karma: Ha, yeah right, who's angry now? It's like you have no other option but to be mad at me!

Scarlett: ...Here's an option-Shut your quiznak!

(Everyone falls silent. The old paladins look at them in disbelief.)

Karma, crossing her arms: I don't you're using that word correctly.

Lance & Keith: Wait-What did you just say?

Allura, shaking her head in disbelief: ...Anyway, we've landed. It's time to start the next bonding exercise with your lions.

Clover: Yes! That means I get to go down the zipline again!

Scarlett: I know, right?! (She holds her knuckles out and Clover fist-bumps her.)

Kibra: Let's go.

Clover: Wait-What does Quiznak actually mean?

Lance: It means-

Coran: -It's a swear-word...I think that's what you humans call it?

Clover: Yeah, but what word does it replace?

(They look at each other quizzically. Keith pushes Lance forward.)

Lance, turning back to Keith: What?! I'm not telling him! Innocent ears, Keith, ever heard of it?!

Keith: Do you even know what Quiznak actually means?

Pidge: Oh, for God's sakes. (Whispering in his ear) It's equivalent to fuck.

Clover: Ohhhh. Thanks, mum.

(Allura, Matt, Slav and the old paladins watch them stand onto the podiums and descend. Scarlett almost throws herself onto the zipline.)

Scarlett: I'm a general! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

Karma, through comms: Where did that come from?

Scarlett: What?

Karma, through comms: You're not a general.

Scarlett: Karma, you don't-Oh, it doesn't matter.

Karma, through comms: No really, tell me. I'm interested.

Clover, through comms: That's a first.

Kibra, through comms, tiredly: Can you stop arguing for one minute?!

(They laugh.)

Kibra, through comms: Allura, we're in our lions! What should we do?

Allura: This time you need to not only trust your team, but your lions as well.

Scarlett: Yeah, as if we haven't done that before.

Allura, sternly: No. You haven't. That's why we are doing this training exercise. Fly as high as you can and stay at the same level.

(They rise into the air.)

Kibra: Stop! That's high enough.

(The lions brake at the same level.)

Clover: Right. What now?

Allura: Fly straight down, and pull up straight before you hit the rocks below.

Karma: You're joking, right?

Scarlett: Oh, that's easy!

(Their helmets view-glass turns a dark tint, so they are almost blind.)

New Paladins, bar Coran, who laughs instead: What?!

Allura: Oh, did I forget to mention that you're also blindfolded?

Kibra: ...Oh.

Allura: You must see through your lions eyes to seal your bond. Trust it.

(They start to fly towards the ground. Clover looks around hopelessly.)

Clover: I can see barely anything anyway!

Kibra: Clover, don't give up. You can do this.

Clover, after few seconds of thinking: Oh...Quiznak this. I don't want to die so soon-better safe than sorry.

In the Castle

Slav: Good choice.

(Everyone gives him a look.)

Slav: What? It's what I would have done.

Scarlett, inside the Blue Lion: Must be getting close.

Karma: Must be. Why, you scared?

Scarlett: Scared? Psshhh! I'm speeding up!

(She pulls the gear sticks back arrogantly.)

Karma: Oh yeah?

(Karma copies her, and their lions rush through the clouds and speed towards the ground. They don't pull up fast enough, and crash into the rocks below. Even though no damage is done, they groan.)

Coran: Come on, Coran. You can do it. You have what it takes. Come on, big yellow-

(He crashes suddenly into the ground. Allura winces.)

Coran, weakly through comms: I'm fine...

(Kibra loosens her grip on the gears, and sits back, closing her eyes.)

Kibra: Come on. I know you can do it.

(The black lion roars.)

Kibra: We can do it. If you just let me see. We can do it together.

(The black lion purrs loudly, and it's head flashes through Kibra's mind. She smiles and pulls up, it's paw just scraping the ground. Everyone in the castle cheers. Shinka smiles, but turns away without anyone noticing.)

Allura, beaming: Nice work, Kibra! Good try, Coran...
