Keith was sitting on the couch, four months pregnant. He was laying on his side, legs pulled in close, hand resting on the small baby bump.

He wasn't ready to tell the team yet. Heck, they didn't even know he could get pregnant. The war was over, but what if they reacted badly? He wasn't ready to lose their bond yet.

Shiro still worked at the Garrison. He was still a leader. He kept track of Earth, now a planet that anyone could travel to. Almost like a trade center.

It wasn't the most exciting job, but Shiro seemed to love it, and that made Keith smile.

The Blade of Marmora became a humanitarian aid, but Keith had taken some time off for the baby. He was actually a bit nervous, he loved that job like Shiro loved his. These things made him question if he was even ready for the baby--but then he thought about being a parent, and he was certain that he was.

Keith heard the front door of their apartment open and he smiled. Shiro walked through with a sigh, sitting down next to Keith and then laying down against his thigh.

"Busy day?" Keith asked.

Shiro hummed, "I am so tired."

Keith chuckled, "You need something to eat, Shiro?"

Shiro nodded, sitting up to make something, but Keith sat up and stopped him, "I meant I will make you something, baby."

Shiro shook his head, "You should get some rest."

Keith rolled his eyes, "I'm pregnant, not incapable."

Shiro sighed, "You sure?"

Keith nodded, "Mhm." He leaned in and pecked Shiro's nose.

Shiro blushed, then nodded, "Actually, how about I take you out to eat tonight?"

Keith frowned. He hadn't been out since his belly started growing. "Shiro.. No one knows yet."

Shiro nodded, "I know. I'll let you borrow on of my shirts."

Keith pondered. That'd definitely hide it. But his motherly instincts were kinking in, it couldn't hide it completely. "Well, the only restaurant near is Hunk's. That's a bad idea."

Shiro set a hand on Keith's shoulder, "Hey. It'll be all right."

Keith thought about it for a long time, but eventually nodded, "All right. Let's go."
