Before The Fall

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE! This July my mom said we were gonna take off the internet so I might not be on for the whole month. *cries* Pray she changes her mind so it's only like a week or something. Idk what I'll do without the internet lolol.

You waited patiently for him as you looked at the brick wall studying each color as best you could in the dark alleyway. You felt the water slowly soaking through the towel you had put down on the ground so that you didn't have to sit directly in it. But you knew'd it take a long time for him to come. You'd been waiting for him for days.

You had been working on a "project" with your friends. You were pretty trust worthy so it was easy to get away with waiting for him. 

You sighed  and buried you face into your arms that were resting on your knees. You yawned feeling so tired. Maybe it'd be another night before he came? He did live so far away from Earth. At least that's what he said.

You leaned back against the brick wall and closed your eyes as you let out a small breath before deciding to leave. It was late and you needed to go home, your parents would suspicious if you stayed out till early in the morning. But they probably wouldn't question you too much about it.

You stood up and grabbed your towel that you'd keep outside and take to a laundry store to wash it without your parents knowing.

You stretched and started to walk out of the alleyway feeling a little upset you'd have to continue coming to see if he'd come.  Suddenly a strong wind came over you making you trip over yourself your scarf blowing and wrapping around your head. The wind calmed down and you hmphed not seeing anything.

You were about to reach up and untangle yourself from your scarf when your hand met with something furry and soft. You froze as you felt yourself being unwrapped from your scarf. 

You heard deep chuckling that sent shivers up your spine. Then you felt soft fur up against the side of your face. "Hello (Y/N)." The deep voice said in your ear his warm breath falling on your neck giving you goosebumps and making you shiver.

You turned quickly to look and see the person you had been waiting for... Well, not person... Technically..

"Zarkon." You breathed and he smiled down at you  because of his tremendous height. 

Then he began frowning, "You look tired, has anyone hurt you while I was gone." He clenched his large fist reminding you of his powerful anger. 

"No! No, no, no! Nothing happened while you were gone! I'm fine!" You said and he looked back at you before he unclenched his fist and softened before you. You could do that to him. Guess you were a special type of friend.

He got down lower so he was face to face with you and so you didn't have to strain your neck. "I promised you the stars, and everything beyond." He gave you his hand, "Shall we begin our journey through the universe?" 

You smiled and nodded before he grabbed you up making you drop your towel. He took you to the black lion which you marveled at it's size. 

He sat in his seat and turned the lion on before quickly taking off and leaving the earth's atmosphere. Soon you found yourself amongst the stars. You had always dreamed of a day where you would be close enough to observe the stars.

"Wow." You stood in awe so much in wonder you didn't realize he was starring at you. 

"You're so lucky to look at this every time you fly." You were so amazed you felt like you could touch the stars.

"Eh, I prefer Earth to be truthful." He said and you looked back at him in shock. "Really??" You asked astonished.

He nodded slowly, "I- can't understand why." He starred at the floor and you smiled in compassion. "That's what makes us all different." You said and he nodded in agreement.

Soon he took you home promising to explore all of space with you. To "own" it in a way. It'd be yours to share.

You smiled nodding, "Goodnight Zarkon, see you next time." You pressed your forehead to his own closing your eyes and he did the same.

Soon you parted and went to you home and going to your room to get enough sleep before school the next day.

Zarkon came back to Altea his current home after one of the many time she had taken (Y/N) to space. He walked to his room and opened the door to find Haggar standing there waiting for him.

"You're sneaking out." She seethed and Zarkon growled. "What does this have to do with anything?" He said and Haggar sneered. "I will tell the king you are communing with a human girl-"

Zarkon cut her off breaking his dresser to pieces and glaring at her. "Shut up, I know you fancy me Haggar, but if you speak a word to the king or anyone else I will have your head on a plate." He said and Haggar backed up slowly before nodding though still angry. "Yes, Zarkon."

She turned and left his room letting him look at the destruction he had caused because of his anger. He let it slip.

You had showed him all of what you knew of Earth, he always told you it was beautiful. And every time you parted from each other he would lean down and kiss your hand or your forehead.

You felt strange things around him, like you wanted to protect him but you also wanted him to protect you. You wanted to never leave him sometimes. It was hard for you. You couldn't decide what your emotions were.

"(Y-Y/N), I want to show you my home planet." Zarkon said one night and your eyes widened. "R-really?" You said and he nodded. "A-are you sure?" You said and he chuckled deeply. "Of course I am."

You boarded the black lion together before he flew away to his planet. When you arrived it was day while it was still night back on your home planet.

Zarkon landed his lion down before taking your hand and leading you off to show you around all the while hiding from people which was hard for both of you.

"It's so beautiful here." You said as he lead you back to his lion. He was acting weird the whole way though. Different than usual.

You had only been there a couple hours and he picked you up early so you had plenty of time.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." He said and you smiled. Without thinking you kissed his cheek dangerously close to his lips. You pulled away and he looked at you closely making you blush at the observation being done on you.

"(Y/N)... I don't know how to say it. Over these past few months I've become more and more enchanted with your being. Everything about you pulls me in. Your kindness, your curiosity with the stars. I love you." He said and you gasped.

You had no idea what to say back, you had met this alien over a year ago and you had only began to travel around the universe recently. You had felt so weird around him recently, maybe that's what that feeling was? Maybe you liked him too? You sometimes felt like you couldn't live without him and every moment spent with him (either good or bad) was better than every other moment of your existence. He made you happy. You did love him.

"I-I love you too Zarkon." You said and he gave you the biggest smile you had ever seen on him. He quickly embraced you in a tight and warm hug that wen on for a few minutes.

When he pulled away he slowly began to lean in to kiss you. You were so nervous and unsure- but when his lips hit yours it as hard to think. So many emotions ran through your head and body at his touch. He laid his hands on your hips his warm palms warming up your skin.

He pulled away and let you breath, or catch your breath. When you caught it he kissed you again deeper and more passionate than the kiss before. Every kiss became deeper and deeper. You now had your arms around his neck when his kissed your neck. You felt his claws slowly start to shred away your clothes making you wonder if this was wrong.

Was this weird?... Loving... and alien?.... Was this beastiality? He technically wasn't a beast was he? It made you uncomfortable thinking about it. You closed your eyes and embraced that you loved him. So you kissed him back.

You had to sneak into your house ashamed of yourself because of your shredded clothes. You couldn't have your family see you like this.

You snuck in and threw your clothes away before slipping in the shower and washing yourself clean everything so clear in your head. 

You felt stinging on your hips from the soap making you look down to see small puncher holes where his claws were. Four puncher holes on the outside of your hips on each side and one in the center of your thigh where his thumb was.

You took a shaky breath washing the soap away and hopping out of the shower. Your whole body hurt.

It had been a while since he had taken you away from Earth. It made you wonder if he took what he wanted and left. But he somehow got in contact with you and met you once again. You were headed out that night to see him your back really hurting you for some reason.

You were about to go out when your parents stopped you. "A few weeks ago we called your friend and asked how the 'project' was coming." Your mom said and your eyes widened knowing what was about to happen. "She told us that there was no project and that you haven't been coming to her house to work on it and spend the night." Your dad informed you and you looked down seeing you were caught.

"So where have you been going all these nights?" Your mom asked you and you gently rubbed the outside of your thighs through your pants to feel the small bumps where your skin had healed over the holes.

"N-nowhere-I-I you wouldn't understand or believe me." You said in shame and your mom crossed her arms. "Where then, is so terrible? You been going to the bar? Smoking drugs? Hanging with trashy boys?" She asked and your eyes widened.

"W-what? NO! I haven't been doing any of those things!" You exclaimed your (H/C) hair falling in your face.

"Then what (Y/N)?" You dad questioned and you swallowed hard, you knew they wouldn't believe you... But it was good to try. 

"I-I have been going to space.. With an alien in a black robot lion." You said and your mom raised an eyebrow as your dad scoffed.

"Nice tall tale dear, the truth now please?" He asked and you shook your head. 

"T-that was the truth." You looked at your watch, "I-I gotta go, I-I'm late." You turned and ran out the door as your parents yelled out to you.

You ran until you were at the place where you were supposed to meet. You held your stomach as tears rolled down your cheeks. You knew that was gonna happen eventually, but you dreaded it so much.

You leaned on the wall waiting for Zarkon to pick you up. He came just in time. 

"You're crying." He realized, suddenly his face became hard. "Who made you cry?" He looked like he was ready to destroy whoever or whatever had upset you. 

"N-no one, I was just missing you." You lied and he looked at you before embracing you slowly your body sore for some reason.

"Please take me away." You begged him and he nodded before picking you up and taking you to his lion. You sat in his lap as you flew, gazing at the stars. "I enjoy Earth's beauty more than space because you live there." He admitted. "You make everything more beautiful.

You smiled and hugged him tightly before falling asleep in his lap.

You sat on the toilet astonished as you looked at the little gadget. 

It was positive, you were pregnant. You had something growing inside of you that was otherworldly. You whimpered. You were extremely scared. You had begun throwing up every morning before school so you got curious and bought a pregnancy test. The results horrified you.

You put your face in your hands and did your best not to cry.

Today you were going to his home planet once again and today you were gonna tell him what he needed to know about what happened.

You were so nervous, you could tell he could sense it. But he chose to ignore it for some reason.

You got to smell the flowers of his home planet and look at the beauty once again. "Zarkon, there is news I would like to share with you."

You looked at him and found him starring at you. "I-it might be strange and terrible but I thought I should tell you before anything happened." You drew in a deep breath and exhaled slowly before opening your eyes.

"Zarkon, I-I'm pregnant." 

He looked at you and you felt so unsure. His face was emotionless.

He stood up and started for the exit. "Z-Zarkon w-wait!" You exclaimed but he exited the black lion walking away from you.

You began to cry. After a few minutes you heard the door open making you look up. "Zarkon?" You asked before you heard light chuckling that made you shake.

"No, dear. The name's Haggar." She came out of the shadows and grinned evilly down at you.

Zarkon wasn't upset, he was just processing. He now had a child. A child he'd have to take care of. Along with the mother. It was exciting. He just didn't take the news well. So after a long while of processing he came back to the lion his lion sending off bad vibes.

Zarkon ran in knowing something was wrong. There he found (Y/N), his love covered in her own blood as she laid on the floor choking on it.

"(Y/N)!" Zarkon roared as he rushed to her side setting her up so she could breath better. But the hole in her stomach showed there was no getting better.

"P-please tell my family I love them.. And I-I'm sorry..." Zarkon watched as she became limp in his own two arms. 

Zarkon felt his face becoming wet. He was crying? Only for her.

The black lion revealed it was Haggar that had killed both his love and his child.

Zarkon lost it, he buried her in a casket that he could keep. Then he took Haggar, "WHY DID YOU KILL HER??!!!" He roared and she chuckled. "She wouldn't of lived anyways. She was carrying a Galra baby."

Zarkon growled and threw her against the wall. "You will vow to serve me until your death because of what you've done." He said and she grinned evilly. "As you wish"

The pain took over him, and he began destroying everything. 

The only thought in his head, I promised her the stars, and everything beyond. So that's what he was going to do. He'd get her the universe. Just like he promised.

Shiro looked at the black lion 10,000 years of sorrow of losing a loved one finally being shared with the new black Paladin.

"So that's why he's taking over the universe." Shiro whispered before petting the black lion which held all the memories of it.

"He wants you because you hold all those memories?" Shiro translated for the lion before Shiro nodded.

"I should tell the team." He walked off leaving Black alone as he discussed why this was all happening.

All because of her. All for her. His love..... (Y/N)...
