Operation Distract The Hot Black Paladin.

You smiled and gathered the stuff you were sent to gather around the castle for the big event. This was really exiting. And it was all your idea.

You were so proud of yourself for coming up with a great idea fro once in your life!

Well, this wasn't the first time.. Things just usually didn't go well when you planned it....

BUT THIS TIME!  It won't be that way. It'll be fine, Shiro will love it.

Yes, you were throwing him a surprise birthday party. Aren't you the best?

You drew in a deep breath your arms almost overflowing with cooking items. You turned before shrieking loudly and dropping everything because of the jump scare.

"Sorry to scare you (Y/N)." Shiro chuckled  nervously before scratching the back for his neck making your ears turn pink at how cute he looked. He was so cute. One minute he was a cute innocent man who apologized for whatever he had done and the next he was taking control and being the head of Voltron showing dominance that made it hard for you to contain your nosebleeds. 

Also sometimes he yelled at Slav. Just cause Slav was super annoying. You thought it was funny though that Slav made Shiro bust his top.

"Let me help you." He started to crouch down to pick up the stuff, but this was a surprise party! He can't touch that stuff!

"NO!" You yelled making him freeze and he looked up to you a slightly confused look on his face. You suddenly felt your face heat up.

"I-uhm, I meant n-no thanks Shiro. I got it!" You chuckled nervously before grabbing all the stuff and running past him. "Thanks anyways!" You turned a corner before stopping and panting as you called yourself an idiot under your breath.

"Here's all the stuff for the cake Hunk." You poured the items onto the counter and Hunk smiled. "Thanks (Y/N)!" You nodded in return before going to the dining room where they were setting up the stuff. 

"Is he distracted?" Allura asked running over to you and you nodded. "I told Slav to go hang with him..." You chuckled nervously knowing Slav and Shiro didn't really like each other... And how you had to threaten Slav to get him to do it.

"If you don't go distract Shiro right now I'll use this!" You whispered harshly as you held a small needle in your fingers. Slav whimpered in fear, "You could hurt someone with that in this reality and 378 others!" He exclaimed and you gave him an evil look. "Exactly."
Slav quickly ran past you throwing his arms up in fear.

Allura smiled "That's great (Y/N)!" She said in a cheery voice and you smiled at her.

Today was Shiro's birthday and you guys had gone ad bought all the stuff you needed and you were setting up. It was gonna be really fun. You hoped Shiro would enjoy it.

You went and grabbed the streamers from your room before making your way back hearing Shiro and Slav arguing down the hall.

"Slaaaav." Shiro groaned and you giggled before running to the dining room to find Keith and Lance fighting because Keith wasn't hanging the HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign correctly apparently.

"You think you can do better?" Keith looked back at Lance a challenge dancing in his eyes and Lance smirked. "You bet your butt I can!" Lance pushed a chair out of his way as he walked over before letting Keith get off the ladder before getting up and "fixing" the sign.

"It's even more crooked when you do it." Keith crossed his arms and Lance groaned. "Can you just shut your quiznack for a moment!" Lance grumbled under his breath and Keith rolled his eyes as you walked over the two completely ignoring you.

Lance kept trying and trying until Keith had enough, "Let me help you, you're doing terrible!" Keith sad and Lance turned to Keith quickly as he yelled."I'm doing just fine! I can do this by myself!" Lance turned his body too quickly making the ladder wobbly and Lance screech as he flew off Keith's eyes widening as he landed right on top of him.

"Ugh..."

You put your hand over your mouth to hide a giggle at how silly they looked.It almost looked like Lance had tackled Keith to the floor in a hug. Extremely funny in your opinion because you knew they'd never do that.

"Get off of me!" Keith pushed Lance away by putting his hands on his chest. "Hey! It's not like I wanted to be here!" Lance scrambled off before brushing himself off in disgust.

"Hey guys." You said and they both looked at you Keith still sitting on the floor. "I got the streamers for you to hang up." You smiled and Keith nodded. "Thanks (Y/N)." before standing up.

Lance ran over before grabbing the streamer rolls from your hands. "Thank you my lady!" He bent down to kiss you hand and he did. But right after you pushed him away by his face.

"Thank you, but I have my eyes on someone else."

Lances jaw dropped to the floor and Pidge laughed. "Ooooh good one (Y/N)!" Hunk said and you smiled before bowing.

"Koran the gorgeous man! Koran the gorgeous man" Koran ran into the room those little boxes following him as he sat down a wrapped gift.

You smiled at him and Koran sighed, "I hope Shiro likes it. It's from Allura and I." Koran said and you nodded. "I'm sure he'll enjoy it!" You smiled at him and Koran nodded.

Then you thought, you planned the party... But did you have a gift for Shiro?

You screamed dropping your cup of water that you had acquired the glass shattering making everybody jump.

"No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,NO!" You exclaimed running out of the dining room brainstorming as to what you could get or do for him. You had no idea you were so lost! There was nothing you could do-

You froze on the way to your room before blushing at your thought. Shiro didn't even knew you liked him! So you couldn't give him that!

Whatever, you could think about it in the shower.

You had finished your shower and you had gotten dressed into skinny jeans and a long sleeved shirt that said KILLIN' IT it was pretty cute. It was (F/C) so that was good.

You combed your hair and brushed your teeth before slipping on your shoes and walking back to the dining room knowing it would be close to the time for his party to begin.

"Slav, you can leave him now." You sent to him so he could read it and leave Shiro alone.

You sighed and walked into the dining room to see everything was ready. "Good job guys." You smiled knowing you didn't have to work since you did all the shopping by yourself mostly.

Hunk smiled while Lance still sulked that you had turned him down making you chuckle. Then you heard footsteps running making you turn and see Slav. "Hey guys Shiro's coming!!" He exclaimed before running right into the ladder bumping the sign making it fall down.

Lance shrieked in horror seeing he had worked hard on that with Keith. He certainly didn't want to do that again.

"SLAV!" Everyone yelled and he gulped nervously.

"Quick!" Allura pointed towards the door "Someone has to distract Shiro while we fix this!" You nodded and Pidge offered you as tribute.

"Sure, I'll do it!" You said a little shakily before nodding and running out the door slamming it behind you.

You rand own the hall looking behind you for a bit until you turned just in time after turning a  corner and running straight into Shiro.

"Oof!" You exclaimed and Shiro caught your arms. "Woah there (Y/N)!" Shiro said looking down at you worriedly making your cheeks turn pink. Aww dang, he's cute when he's worried.

You chucked nervously before standing up straight. "Hey Shiro. What's up?" You said trying to figure out what you were going to do to distract him.

"Nothing much." Shiro chuckled a little bitterly. "Slav's been annoying me all day for some reason." He crossed his arms and you nodded before looking down 

"Shiro... I have something to tell you..." You heart was beating so fast you weren't sure if Shiro couldn't hear it. It was so loud in your ears and you were sure your cheeks were a deep red.

"What is it (Y/N)?" Shiro asked uncrossing his arms to get a little ore personal and welcoming towards you.

You drew in a deep breath before letting it out slowly as Shiro waited patiently. You looked up to his face as he looked to yours.

"I..I-." You looked into his dark grey eyes to find a sweet loving soul and so much more. He was so beautiful inside and out. That's why you liked him so much.

"I really like you Shiro."

Shiro chuckled, "That's good."

You growled a little under your breath upset that you had to explain more. "No, I mean like I really like you... Like like like you."

Shiro stood there for a moment his cheeks slowly turning pink.

It'd be nice if he said something back, you thought because you had juts confessed your undying love for him!? And he's saying nothing....

You fiddled nervously and Shiro smiled at you before leaning down and giving your lips a peck. "Good, cause I feel the same way."

You gasped up at him in delight before umping up and wrapping your arms around his neck as you planted a kiss on his lips.

Shiro stumbled back into the wall from the surprise before putting his hands on your hips to keep you steady as he kissed you back.

Sure, kissing was great. But having someone kiss you back? Oh gosh- His lips were so soft up against yours and he was such a gentle kisser. This was more of a present for you than for him. Not that your birthday was anytime soon.
(Or was it? I have no idea ~Sazzy)

You pulled away a big smile on your face a big smile on his also. Then that thought popped back into your head again. You blushed before smirking lightly and' wrapping your legs around his waist and pulling him closer to you. Shiro gasped at the unexpected contact a deeper blush forming on his face.

"(Y/N)..." He avoided eye contact looking like he wasn't sure if you should do that.

"Shiro it's-" Before you could finish your sentence Shiro flipped you over so that your back as pressed up against the wall.

"You sure you wanna tempt me like this?" He pressed you harder against the wall and you whimpered lightly.

Gosh that was so hot...

No, he was sexy.

You blushed before putting your hands on his face and pulling him to your lips again giving him a deep passionate kiss making him groan lightly. Shiro squeezed your hips a bit before planting his palms on the wall on both sides of your head as he kissed you deeper.

You wrapped your arms around his back and squeezed bunches of his shirt in your fists. This felt so good.

So good you could-

Shiro pulled away and started planting sweet breathy kisses down your neck making your eyes widen in surprise and goosebumps appear on your skin from the good feeling every time he connected with your skin.

You moaned lightly as you ran your fingers through his hair him the only thing on your mind. Everything else completely forgotten. 

"Wow!" A familiar voice exclaimed. "This could end up 1 way in this reality and 3 other ways in others!"

Shiro froze before laying his face against your shoulder and growling light. "Slav.."

He picked his head up and glared at Slav, "Can't you just leave me alone for one minute in my life!?" Shiro exclaimed before Slav continued on ignoring him.

"Suppose I didn't interrupt you, then you would be going somewhere private-"

"SLAV!" You and Shiro both exclaimed not moving from your position the mood totally gone. 

"I'm gonna-" Shiro was cut shorty when Keith and Allura walked around the corner also.

"Oh, (Y/N). Shiro. " Keith said looking slightly shocked. Allura shook her head in a playful manor, "We told you to distract him but we didn't mean this!" Allura said and Shiro looked you in the eyes making your ears heat up. 

"Distract me..? From what?" He loosened up before pressing against you in a certain place making your face turn tomato red as he teased you.

"S-Shiro!" You whispered harshly before pushing him away from you. "And nothing!" You got down, "You'l figure it out!" You rand own the hall your face extremely red.

Shiro walked in and you didn't get to yell surprise but he was surprised enough. "Wow." He whispered looking around in awe before putting his face in his hands.

"What is it Shiro?" you put your hand on his shoulder and he looked up at every tear flooding out of his eyes. "I didn't even remember it was my birthday."

You smiled before you opened your arms and he leaned down and hugged you before crying happily into your shoulder as your rubbed up and down his back.

After a bit Shiro lifted his head wiping away a few tears before speaking to everyone, "Thank you for remembering my birthday."

Everyone smiled and you hugged him tightly against you.

"Happy Birthday Shiro..." You whispered and he smiled squeezing you gently.

"Thank you (Y/N)..."

Then you pulled away and Shiro opened presents and you all ate cake after singing happy birthday to him Lance adding the you look like a monkey and smell like one too. It was a great birthday party in your opinion.

Everyone looked happy.

But he can't even get a birthday every year can he? It has to be on a leap year. (Feb. 29) Cause his creators are jerks.

Also this is a make up for the last Shiro chapter (which I deleted) cause it was a bit too provocative ... oops...

I had fun writing Slav tho. He's funny! Plus a new character! We could all use those!
