Lance Has The Strangest Superpower Ever.

Silence, that's what this was.

You were starring at the ceiling of your room pondering the day.You were tired but your working mind kept you awake.

Then you heard it. The horrible blood curdling screams.

You jumped up before hearing another scream. You quickly threw off your blanket before running out of your room the automatic door opening for you.

You ran down the hall where the screaming was intensifying. The closer you got dread settled over you.

You knew exactly who it was.

The door opened once the face identification saw it was you and you walked in to see him thrashing around on his bed tears wetting his face.

The sight broke your heart, just like every other night you saw him in his own personal torture.

You walked over and grabbed his wrists in time before he started scratching at his face and pulling out his hair.

"Shiro! Wake up!" You were shaking him but he only sobbed more. Taking drastic measures to stop your heart from aching so much at seeing him in such pain you woke him up.

By slapping him across the face.

He instantly stopped and let out a breath before his eyes fluttered open to see you.

"(Y/N)?" He asked and you smiled at him in compassion before he reached up and grabbed your face before pulling you down and kissing you.

"I'm sorry." He apologized and you smiled. You two had been in a relationship for a while now and you loved Shiro very much. You just couldn't stand the pain he went through every night his dreams plagued with past memories.

"Hey, let us in!" You heard banging on the door to his room and Shiro sighed before commanding the door to let them inside his room.

"You ok, Shiro?" Pidge asked as everyone filed into the room to see you sitting beside him as he laid under the covers.

Shiro sighed, "I'll be fine." He smiled weakly and Pidge nodded. "I hope so Shiro, for your sake."

Shiro just averted his eyes from Pidge and Hunk sighed.

"Need anything Shiro?" Keith asked and Shiro shook his head, "Thank you, but I'll be fine." Shiro assured and Hunk nodded Keith just crossing his arms in unbelief.

"Yeah, just like you said the first night it happened. That was three weeks ago Shiro." Keith informed looking a little angry. You didn't say anything. You were just gonna watch this play out.

Shiro sat up and rubbed his forehead, "I'm sorry. But I just don't have a solution for it yet. I know you need to sleep-"

'It's not about us Shiro." Princess Allura butted in. "It's about your health. Mental and physical." She explained and you looked back at Shiro to see he looked sad.

"I-I..." Shiro looked down before sighing in exasperation.

"I understand your concern for me, but I do not need you worrying over me. I can take care of yourself." Shiro finished and you all heard a yawn before Lance walked in the room.

"What are you guys doing in here? Is there a party or something?" He asked and Keith just glared at him.

"We were comforting Shiro, but since you have your stupid romance music blasting in your ears all night you can't hear a single thing!" Keith looked quite ticked off at Lance.

"Wha- I like that kind of music. Plus it helps me sleep." Lance turned away and stuck his nose up his arms crossed over his chest.

"Please," Shiro asked. "Go back to bed. I'll be fine."

They all just agreed and walked out of the room but you stayed behind with Shiro who laid back down and sighed.

"Shiro, Allura's right." You sighed before looking at the bed. "You need something to help you sleep. Or else Voltron won't be able too form. And then what will we do to defend the universe?"

Shiro rubbed his head for a moment before relaxing and looking at the ceiling above his bed. "Then what do you suggest we do?" He asked and you smiled at how he said we. It meant you were a part of this too.

"I don't know." You lid down beside him to look at the ceiling also before he wrapped an arm around you and sighed.

You two stayed there in silence for a long period of time just enjoying one another's presence. It was peaceful. Like a meadow in the morning. You sighed remembering Earth. You missed it so much.

You sat up and stood before going to leave, "Wait." Shiro said and you looked over at him.

"Please stay with me." He almost begged and you could see his eyes already starting to drift. He was tired.

You smiled at him before nodding and climbing back in bed with him. He wrapped his very strong arms around your frame and pulling you to his warm chest warming up your whole body making you sigh in bliss.

You closed your eyes and you two fell asleep.

Eating breakfast your were thinking hard, about the night before. It was straight up awesome yet weird at the same time.

Usually Shiro would wake up with another bad dream after you guys left his room the first time. But last night he slept through the night. And from what you remembered he didn't wake up again.

You were all walking to the training room when Shiro decided to walk next to you and hold you hand. He usually didn't hold your hand in public and be all cheesy. He hated cheesiness. He always said that he wanted something real. Not a cheap love story that people in the past used to read and watch movies about.

You smiled and he smiled at you also. "I love you." He said and you leaned up and kissed his cheek making all the other Paladins make gagging or throwing up sounds.

You just smiled and walked into the training room with Shiro. Today was going to be fun.

You two had been sleeping in the same bed for over a week. And since you've been sleeping with him he'd had less nightmares. Only like four in the last week and a half. You were happy.

You were happy for you, and him. He had lost the bags under his eyes. And he was a lot happier.

And his happiness, made you happy.

You changed into your PJ's which were long sleeping pants and a t-shirt before grabbing your stuffed animal of choice before walking to Shiro's bedroom.

On the way you passed Lance and Keith who were talking as they were walking back to their dorms.

Everyone knew what you and Shiro were doing, sleeping together. Not the other thing. Just sleeping. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. There.

"Have fun tonight mop head." Lance winked and you growled at his nickname he made for you when he saw your mess of hair one morning before you brushed it and also what he was assuming.

"You're disgusting." Keith said and Lance chuckled. "What?" Lance asked as you kept walking farther away from each other. "It's a high possibility."

You just groaned and walked into Shiro's room before jumping into his bed and rolling over onto your side. You hated Lance's rumors. Jerk.

You heard Shiro's bathroom door open and you could hear him yawn before he crawled into bed behind you wrapping his arms around your waist and spooning you.

"Hey babe." He whispered his warm breath falling on your neck giving you goosebumps and making you shiver.

You instantly calmed right down. You don't know what it was about Shiro but everything about him made you calm and feel protected. You knew you were safe around him. You knew he'd sacrifice himself and do anything to protect you from harm. You knew that.

And by that, you knew that he loved you.

"Hey." You whispered back molding to his toned body. He was so warm.

After a few minutes of silence you were about to fall asleep but then you felt soft lips kiss your neck.

Your eyes flew open but you didn't do anything you just laid there feeling his hands position themselves on your hips as his lips continued to lay gentle kisses on your neck.

You shivered and he chuckled onto your neck making you more away than ever his low voice vibrating into your ears and through your body.

You rolled over so that you were facing him and you saw a genuine smile on his face.

He leaned in and kissed the tip of your nose making you close your eyes and smile before he pulled you closer to his body by your hips.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered and you opened you eyes slowly to see him starring at your face. You could see a look in his eyes that showed he was completely smitten with you.

You smiled and leaned in closing the gap between you with a passionate kiss filled with your love.

You moaned and stretched knowing it was morning, you knew it was early though because you could hear panting and grunting.

You knew exactly what it was.

You sighed and opened your eyes to look at the ceiling before laying your hands on your stomach over the covers a little smile playing on your lips.

You sat up and scratched your head with one hand as you held the covers up to cover you before you looked to see Shiro in his armor doing sit-ups.

"Hey babe." He said and you smiled. "Hey Shiro." You said before sighing and rolling your shoulders.

You looked around before seeing what you needed on the floor.

"Uh, Shiro. Could you please grab my clothes for me?" You asked and he smiled before doing one more sit-up and standing.

"Sure thing." He said before grabbing your t-shirt and pants before your undergarments all of which he had removed from you last night.

You blushed at the memory and took them from his hands before coughing awkwardly. "Could you uh, turn around please?" You asked and he glanced from your clothes to your face again as you sat there patiently.

You could tell he was wondering why you were asking since he had already... Well. Seen all of you. But he just sighed and turned around before crossing his arms.

"My eyes are closed." He promised and you smiled before getting up and getting dressed before signaling to him that he could look by kissing his cheek.

"I had fun last night." You said before grabbing your stuffed animal from the floor as he smiled at you his endearing smiled that had you at first glance.

"Yeah, me too." He said before grabbing your face and kissing you gently reminding you of how sweet he was to you.

"Go, Allura will be giving us a wake call soon." He said and you nodded before leaving his room and going to your own to take a shower and change into clothes for the day.

Several weeks past since the night and you two hadn't done a single thing except for light kissing and holding hands. But you also noticed in the past four or five weeks Shiro only had like 4 nightmares, They were going down drastically.

You were thankful for that.

Allura sighed, she was bored out of her mind. Things had been quite calm, it was nice but she wanted something to do. She needed her adrenaline pumping again. She needed something new.

Apparently since the mice had a connection to her the came to her side and sat next to her on the arm rail as Allura looked out at her land which was hers since her father had passed.

"I'm so bored of doing absolutely nothing all day long." Allura complained before burying her face into her arms before the mice started squeaking.

"Yeah? Keith suck punched Lance? About time." Allura chuckled and looked at the sky as the mice kept talking to her.

"Yes- they did what!?" Allura almost shrieked but she was an octave lower than a shriek.

The mice nodded and Allura squinted down at them.

"Hmm, that would explain her strange behavior." she tapped her chin. "Eating more than usual. Getting sick in the training arena." Allura suddenly gasped.

"Do you think she could be-?" Allura sighed at the idea. "That would be just wonderful if she was."

Allura fluttered her eyelashes before looking at the mice. "We need to figure out if this is true." Allura stood from her seat and ran back into the castle.

You were walking around sucking on a pop-sickle when Allura jumped out of no where with a electronic thing.

You screamed from surprise and dropped your pop-sickle. "Hold still!" Allura ordered and you complied before she looked on the device her eyes widening.

"So it is true! Congratulations!' She exclaimed before running and giving you a hug as you stood there confused.

You eventually patted her back awkwardly. "Uh, thanks?" You cleared your throat noticing she was stepping on your pop-sickle which she had made you drop.

"So uh, what are you congratulating me about again?" You asked and she pulled away and looked at your strangely.

"You really don't know?" She asked and you shook your head.

"Aww, blasters. Uh, how do I break this to you easily?" She asked tapping her chin and you shrugged your shoulders. You'd just like to know what was going on.

"Well here goes nothing." She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before opening them and speaking.

"You're pregnant."

At first you just stood there in silent confusion.

Then you eyes widened. "I-is that what that machine is for?" You pointed at the thing in her hand and she smiled.

"Yes, (Y/N). It is."

All of a sudden everything hit you and your vision went black.

"(Y/N) are you ok?" You heard the deep voice of your lover making you sigh feeling a strong hand in your own.

"Shiro." You whispered before your eyes fluttered open to see Shiro above you a smile on his face his white hair slightly hanging down into his eyes.

After a few moment you remembered what had happened right before everything went black, you looked over at Allura worriedly and she just smiled before mouthing He doesn't know.

You sighed in relief before laying your head back down.

You couldn't believe it. You were pregnant. And with Shiro's baby.

That's why you had been getting nauseous lately. Just thinking of it was upsetting your stomach.

You smiled down at your stomach before putting a hand on it.

"Uh, could you guys leave. I have something important to tell Shiro." You looked to see Allura smile widely before pushing everyone out of the room as they complained.

"Let's go for a walk!" She exclaimed.

"Awww come on, we don't get to get in on juicy gossip but you do?" Lance pouted and Keith groaned rolling his eyes at Lance.

"If you don't stop acting like such a girl I'm gonna sucker punch you again." Keith threatened.

"So what? It didn't hurt anyways." Lance said and Keith gave him an odd look.

"You fell on the ground and cried as you cradled your nose."

"I was acting!" Lance crossed his arms and Keith facepalmed.

Allura slammed the door closed and they started walking down the hall leaving you and Shiro alone.

"What is it (Y/N)?" He asked squeezing your hand gently making you boost with confidence.

You drew in a deep breath before letting it out along with your secret. "I'm pregnant."

Shiro just stood there for a moment before glancing down at your belly before your face.

"Really?" His voice sounded like he was about to cry and you worried he didn't want a child.

You nodded slowly knowing telling him was for the best.

His eyes got watery and a few tears escaped his eyes before he wiped them away furiously.

"I'm so happy." He whispered and you smiled before crying a little bit yourself.

You both reached for each other a kissed lightly.

You gripped Shiro's arm gently as you stood in front of the team together Shiro smiling at your encouragingly.

"I'm pregnant."

The room went silent except for Allura who was squealing with delight.

"Wow, congratulations." Keith said.

"Yeah!" Hunk exclaimed.

"Nice to finally hear from you instead of Allura." Coran said and Allura froze before glaring at him.

"Oops?" He said nervously.

"I can help you with the baby." Pidge offered and Allura squealed. "Me too!"

Lance just stood there with his jaw on the floor.

"Wha- wha- HOW!?" He exclaimed and your face went red Shiro's ears going red also.

Lance then blushed. "T-that's not what I meant!" He shook his hands telling everyone he was being truthful at how nervous he was asking.

"I-I mean.. When!?" Lance exclaimed and you replayed the night.

"It was right after you said 'have fun' to me in the hallway..."

You and Lance both froze.

"How- you- you called it!" You exclaimed pointing at him as he freaked out.

"If this is my superpower please take it away from me!" He pleaded with the ceiling making the rest of you laugh.

You though that this was probably the weirdest thing that has probably happened when some woman revealed they were pregnant to their friends.

Nevertheless you were happy.

Life was good.
