Chapter 25

After settling back into his old home, Kian knew his mother wouldn't let him get her out of sight. For a few days, that has been the set-up in the household. Stacia wouldn't let Kian do anything, but take a rest until his follow-up check-up. Stacia let Brian check him on from time to time and there was Jordan who seemingly stood like the man of the family. 

"Ate, nasaan ka ba? Hindi ka ba pupunta rito ngayon?" tanong ni Kian habang kausap sa phone ang kapatid.

"I don't know. Parang ayokong pumunta riyan ngayon, Kian. The last time I went there. . . Naku, 'wag na lang natin pag-usapan 'yon. I tried forgetting about it and moved on. Masaya ako na okay ka na. 'Wag mo lang din kakalimutan na i-update ako palagi sa kondisyon mo, ha!"

"Oo naman, ate! E, ikaw naman 'tong lost in the act palagi, e. Hinahanap ka nila. Tinatawagan pa, pero hindi ka naman daw sumasagot. Saan ka ba nag-stay ngayon? Sino mga kasama mo?"

"Secret! I'm just hanging out with my high school friends. Sa kanila rin ako nakikituloy while I'm still here. . . Wala namang problema kasama nila. Magkakaroon lang ako ng problem whenever I got to be with Mom. . . Hindi na talaga ako natutuwa."

Napahugot naman nang malalim na hininga si Kian at pasimple itong binitawan. "Well, mukhang alam ko na 'yang reason mo. Was it because of Jordan?" Hindi sumagot ang kapatid nito sa tanong niya. Sa puntong iyon ay nakompirma naman niya na tama ang hinala nito. "Mabait naman si Jordan."

"Naman," pag-uulit pa nito, pero may halong pabalang ang tono.

"Hindi, ate. I could attest na mabait naman talaga siya."

"Mabait siya because she was trying to get Mom's attention. I don't think he's being sincere enough to his intentions kaya hate na hate ko siya. Nadadamay na rin si Mom do'n. I tried not to, pero sa tuwing makikita kong magkasama silang dalawa, I couldn't help, but to think that it was easy for her to move on."

"I get it, Ate. . . I understand your point naman. But I would just like to say to you na no'ng nasa hospital ako, nagbabantay rin naman siya sa akin. He was there for me and Mom. He got whole other stuff out there na mas importante, but he chose to stay. Kapag nakilala mo naman siya, hindi mo na masasabi 'yan."

"Do you know the reason why I hate him? I think nagbubulag-bulagan si Mom sa kanya, e," anito. Napakunot ang noo ni Kian, pero hindi rin ito nagbigay ng reaksyon sa kapatid. "One time na nagpunta ako riyan sa bahay, Mom told me mag-isa lang siya sa bahay, but later on, Jordan was walking down the stairs shirtless, and who the fuck knows what they did! Ayoko na lang isipin." She grunted and Kian tried to understand where her anger was coming from, but he thought it was getting irrelevant at this point.

"I'm sure Mom knew what she was doing with Jordan. Hindi naman natin kailangang pangunahan kung anong gustong gawin nila sa buhay nila. Remember, Mom and Dad are separated now. Dad had a new partner and Marlyn's pregnant. And I knew you supported their relationship, why can't we just do that to Mom? Both of us knew it was hard for them to go through separation and we've been hurting for so long. We just need to accept it."

Hindi naman sumagot si Thamara sa kabilang linya. On the back of his mind, naiisip nitong hindi niya mababago ang isipan ng kapatid. It was like she was already set her mind into something no one could ever change them. Iyon na ang paniniwalaan niya. Kian believe it was senseless to explain his side to Thamara.

"Nabalitaan mo rin ba 'yong nangyari kay Jordan?" tanong nito, pero hindi umimik sa kabilang linya ang kapatid nito. "He was mugged off. Hindi namin alam ung napag-trip-an lang ba siya o kung ano man. He went to the police station, but they've got no updates about the people who had done it to him. Nakakaawa kaya si Jordan kung makikita mo lang. Mom felt like it was her fault. Na lahat nang nangyayaring hindi maganda ay dahil sa kanya."

"It was her fault," pabulong pa nitong sagot.

"I don't think it is, ate. . ."

"Huh? May sinabi ka ba?"

Hindi naman sumagot si Kian dahil sunod ay may mga narinig itong boses ng mga lalaki sa kabilang linya. Thamara was talking to a few people there and he wasn't able to understand what they were talking about, but he heard clearly they would be going to a food place to have their dinner for the night.

"Sino 'yon, ate? Sila ba 'yong mga high school friend mo?" pagtatanong pa ni Kian.

"Hey, Kian! Tatawagan na lang ulit kita mamaya o kaya bukas. Just a reminder, don't get your hopes up na Jordan will stay with Mom forever. I just believe that was after her for something. Bye muna. Talk to you later. . ."

He wasn't able to respond to her when she quickly dropped the call.

Napahiga na lamang si Kian at napaisip sa naging pag-uusap nila ng kapatid niya. Ayaw man niya pag-isipan ito ng ibang bagay, pero hindi niya maialis sa kanyang isipan ang mga bagay na nangyari. Ngunit sa isip-isit nito ay baka tama rin ang kapatid niya. Hindi niya dapat lubos na pagkatiwalaan si Jordan dahil hindi nito alam ang totoong intensyon sa magulang nito.

Later at night, Brian arrived to check in with Kian, but he was already asleep when he came in. When he found no one in the living room, he thought that Stacia might be in her bedroom, but before he could even knock on the door, he heard something inside the room.

He listened for quite a while and he confirmed that Stacia was inside the room and probably Jordan is. He was about to walk back downstairs, but there was something inside of him that he wanted to check out what was going on. He went back in front of the bedroom door and there he grabbed the knob and twisted it opening the door for him.

He pushed it forward and here he could hear the bedroom frames squeaking. When he finally took a peek inside the bedroom, he saw what he needed to see. There he saw Jordan on top of Stacia and they were fucking on the bed. It was their marital bedroom and he remembered all the times he fucked Stacia there. 

Stacia's legs were on Jordan's shoulder while he thrust his hips roughly making Stacia moan hard. When Brian hissed and made his presence known in the room, Stacia and Jordan shifted their eyes to him, but they didn't stop fucking each other. Jordan kept going while Stacia's eyes were on her ex-husband. Jordan invited Brian to get inside the room so he could how he fuck his ex-wife, but Brian shook his head and apologized for barging into the room like that.

Jordan was persistent and stopped Brian from leaving. He told him to close the door behind him and made him sit on the chair at the corner and let him watch them. At first, Brian doesn't want to do it. He has a partner now and Marlyn's waiting for him back at home. He was just stopping by just to give Stacia to hand over to Jordan some money to pay him.

"Watch me fuck your ex-wife, Brian. . . Sit there, pleasure yourself. . . Do what you want. . ." Jordan said.

Brian tried avoiding looking at them, but when he put his attention back on them and see these two naked people fucked each other turned him on. He slowly sat his ass down on the chair while watching Jordan rigorously fucked Stacia to her core. 

Later on, they found Brian taking his cock out of his pants and started jerking off while watching the both of them. Jordan and Stacia changed positions closer to Brian so he could see all of them. He just clean himself out and told them that he left the money in the kitchen countertop. Hindi na naman nahabol ni Stacia si Brian dahil nagmamadali na rin itong umalis. Nabahala rin naman si Stacia nang harapin si Jordan.

"What are you worried about?" he asked, wrapping his arms around her.

"Do you think he would say anything about what we did?"

Napangis naman si Jordan. "I don't think so. . . But I thought I locked the door, but I guess that made him know better what we had. . . I'm sure he would stop thinking that our relationship won't work, and now, he did. He also came along with it."

"I didn't think he would do it. . ."

"Well, you never know someone until you discover their deep dark secrets. . . And there could be more we don't know, but whatever, it's his life. . ."

Hindi na nagbigay ng komento si Stacia at niyakap na lamang si Jordan. If Brian would think that Jordan only came after him because of sex, well, he should question himself because it was far more than that and Stacia would defend it. It wasn't cheating when she wasn't in a relationship. It was just being wild and free.
