23 - The End

I don't own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter.

Percy's pov

I'm falling through the cold, dark waters of Greenland. I can't see and I can't breath. If I don't get air soon I'm going to die.

I try to breath, but I can't. My powers don't work. I slowly fall to the bottom of the ocean. The pressure is going to kill me if the lack of air doesn't. Then I black out.

Luke's pov

Those of us who saw Percy fall all look at each other. I'm about to make something up like, he's finishing something up in Greenland, but Annabeth speaks up before I can.

"He was fighting Liam and Tim, you know the guys who kidnapped him, then Liam cracked the ice that they were standing on and they all fell through. We tried to find him, but we couldn't. We had to leave," Annabeth says. She sounds so sad, which you would expect her best friend and boyfriend died. She also sounds mad, she was mad when we had to leave. She wanted to keep looking, but the water was so dark and cold. There was no way we would find him. Plus, if we did find him what would we do with him?

Before anyone could react the doors to the castle we were standing in front of open. A boy and a girl walk out. When they get closer I realize that it's Luna and Draco.

"We saw the ship from upstairs and thought we would come down and..." Draco starts before Luna cuts him off.

"Silena!?" She says.

"Luna?!" Silena says. The two girls run and give each other a hug.

Draco looks around before he sees me. We give each other a hug.

"Hi," I say.

"Hey," He says.

All of us demigods go to the ship and just spend the next few hours talking and catching up. If someone were to look around the room without being able to hear what we were saying we would seem like a group of normal teenagers, but we are far from normal. Nico was sitting by both of his sisters and Frank. They are talking about what it's like to be dead and how much they remember about their past lives. Lee, Castor, Ethan, Jason and Will are talking about the best wines, the best ways to get revenge, the best kind of weapon, and the best way to heal someone. Silena, Piper, and Luna are just talking about girl things. Charles, and Leo were talking about tools and stuff. Annabeth, Thalia, and Draco are talking about the best way to hurt me while I sit there and listen. I know that they would never actually do anything to me. At least I hope they wouldn't because Thalia is really really mad at me, it sounds like Annabeth has learned some new fighting techniques, and Draco is holding a wand. I feel like maybe I should run...

TIME SKIP TO A FEW HOURS LATER!!!

Thalia's pov

"Guys, we need to leave," Annabeth says.

"Why?" Leo asks.

"We have to get back to camp," Annabeth answers.

"Why can't we stay here for a little longer?" Luke asks.

"Because the quest is over," Annabeth snaps at him. "You know the rules. Complete the quest and get back to camp as soon as possible. We have already been done with the quest for a week and it's going to take another couple of days to get back to camp. That's almost two weeks."

Why would Annabeth want to leave so soon? Like Luke said it's only been two weeks. Percy has been dead for two weeks. Two weeks? Why does it feel like two weeks is so important? Then it hits me. Last time Annabeth saw Percy 'die' on a quest he was gone for two weeks before he showed up at camp during his funeral. She wants to get back to camp in case he comes back.

Jason's pov

Annabeth makes sure we all have all of our stuff before we leave. She had called Chiron and he had sent Pegasus. We all climb on. Piper and I get on Tempest. Frank and Hazel on Arion. Annabeth is on Blackjack. Everyone else is on different Pegasus that I have seen around camp. We decided not to take the boat because of me, my sister, Nico, Hazel, and Bianca. It was bad enough on their way back here from Greenland. It will be dangerous to have Nico and his sister in the sky, but it's the fastest way to get back to camp. We say our last goodbyes to the wizards and fly off.

TIME SKIP TO TWO DAYS LATER!!

We land on the hill by Thalia's tree. Everyone climbs off. The horse fly/run off. We walk down the hill to where the rest of the campers are standing. When people see their friends they all run to them. Everyone starts talking at once. Asking questions, yelling, talking, and laughing.

"Quite!!" Chiron yells. "Annabeth can you explain what is going on?" He asks when everyone stops talking.

"The Third Great Prophecy told us that we had to go to Greenland and 'return what was stolen'. So, we did. We got our friends back. Their lives were stolen from them," she says.

"Ok, but where is Percy?" Chiron asks.

Annabeth looks him dead in the eye and says "Percy Jackson is dead. He drowned when he fall from an iceberg in Greenland." She sounds so calm as if she had practiced saying that a thousand times.

No one says anything. It's hard to believe that the son of Poseidon drown, but by then they all would have heard the Prophecy. Eventually everyone leaves. They go back to their cabins. They go to their lessons. I see Silena, Luna, and Clarssie walk off. Luke walking with the Stroll brothers. Charles with some kids from his cabin. Annabeth is talking with Chiron. His face falls as she tells him what happened in Greenland. Piper comes and stands with me.

"Look, he's so happy," she says pointing at someone. It's Nico. He is standing with both of his sisters and Will. They are smiling and laughing. She's right. I haven't seen Nico this happy in a long time. I think the only time he comes close to being this happy is when he is with Will.

Leo's pov

We have been back at camp for a few days. It's still weird not seeing Percy. I'm so use to seeing him, eating blue food, training, help someone train, swimming, eating blue food, teaching someone how to swim, eating blue food, teaching a class, failing at archery, fighting someone/something, just talking to someone or eating blue food.

It has been two weeks since Percy died. We all worked on his shroud. It was made out of green silk. It has a giant trident in the middle and a symbol for all of the quest he has been on forming a circle around it. We are going to burn it tonight. Everyone else's has already been burned.

Thalia's pov

We all sat in front of the fire. Some of Percy's closest friends take turns talking about all the good times we have had with him. Then it was Annabeth's turn. She walked up to the fire. She put one hand in the shroud. She looked around at everyone. She had a sad smile on her face and tears in her eyes.

"This is second time we have done this for Percy, but he has almost died a lot more times. Sometimes it feels like he almost died once a day. So, it's a good thing we all love him so much," she pauses as a few people in the crowd laugh. "'He was probably the bravest friend I've ever had'. He was the best boyfriend. He always put others before himself. He would do anything to make everyone happy. He was always there for me. He fell into Tartarus with me. He was kind. He believed that there is good in everyone. Even the monsters that tried to kill him. Just a few weeks ago he stopped a giant octopus from killing us by asking it why it wanted to kill us. He was funny. He would do anything to make us all smile and laugh. Even if we were all about to die. He would find a way to make the situation funny. He put up with everything the Gods put him through. Did he complain about what they were making him do and them? As much as he could without the Gods killing him, which they seem to have debated more then once but he still did what they asked. He saved the world, twice! If anyone has bragging rights it would be him, but never once did he say or put himself above others. If you brought up any of his accomplishments he would find so excuse as to why you shouldn't be congratulating him. He would say 'I could have done it without everyone's help!' Sometimes it was best not to tell at him but to just be proud of what he had done. He saved so many lives, but still blamed himself for the lives lost. We would sit and talk about the wars and the battles and he would tell me all of the things he would do different if he could go back to save the people that died. I told him that their deaths were not his fault, but he was so loyal to those people that of course he would think it was his fault. He tried his hardest in everything he did. Even if it was something he would just never be good at, like archery. He was a great friend and a great person. Sometimes he would tell me that all he wanted was five minutes without one of the Gods asking him to do something. He wanted five minutes of rest from the Gods. He wanted five minutes of peace and quiet from the Gods. Today we put him to rest. We will remember Perseus Logan Jackson as the great friend, brother, boyfriend, and cousin that he was because today as we lay him to rest we are giving Percy his five minutes of peace and quiet."

Annabeth's pov

As I walk away from the fire burning my boyfriend's shroud I realize that I will never see Percy again. I will never hug him again I will never hear one of his dumb jokes again. This really is the end of our story.

A/N Thank you all so much for reading! I hope you like Percy's funeral. I had to steal a quote from 'The Battle of the Labyrinth" from Percy's first funeral. I had a lot of fun with this chapter! I have an idea for my next book and I hope you all read it! I'm sorry this chapter is coming out so late. I kept tell myself 'I'll update the book in five minutes.' Then I would forget or get busy! Thanks again for reading!

P.S. I I ow Percy's middle name is not Logan but I don't think he has a real middle name. I looked and couldn't find it. Let me know if you know what his middle name is.
