"Vi?" Sam said from behind her, confused as to why she had stopped mid rampage. It was difficult to get his younger sister to ever shut up when she was on a warpath but it seemed like she had been stumped.

Violet Uley lost all ability to even move as she continued to stare at Emmett the way he did her. A smirk grew upon Emmett's face as Violet continued to freeze.

"Vi—" Sam touched his sisters arm, trying to get her out of her stump. What the hell has happened to Vi?

It was like his scorching touch sent a shock through her body, starting all the machines back up inside her head. Her brain once again worked and it told her to run as fast as her tired legs could.

"I uh... I have to go," were the only things Violet could utter before she turned around and stomped straight out of the clearing without another explanation.

Emmett Cullen was confused beyond all belief, why had she just gone? Wasn't a mate bond suppose to be stronger then that? She was part wolf which meant it was suppose to be painful, like it was for him. Confusion soon morphed into determination as he went to step forward before Jacob Black growled at him in warning and Sam Uley took a protective step in front of his little sisters retreating form.

"What happened to her?" Emmetts rough voice called out, watching as she continuously stomped away. One of the wolves tried to go near her and she kicked at it, suffice to say the rest of the pack moved out of her way quickly.

Sam debated wether to answer them, knowing that Edward had more then likely already known what was going on. Sam huffed, his tight lipped mouth opening to answer," I don't know."

And he walked away, the wolves following after him as he smelled his younger sister had already ran the rest of the way home.

"It's just not fair! I mean for fucks sake!" Vi growled, stomping her feet when she continued to pass the small living room of her brothers house. Her light brown eyes now darkening with a storm of rage and anger.

Emily watched her, her mouth twitching into a smirk as she continued to watch her sister-in-law throw a fit. She had missed her, missed the temper tantrums.

Violet hadn't even noticed the gathering of wolves outside, or how Sam was looking through the window at Emily. He wasn't afraid to leave his sister with his imprint but more like fearing of the hell his sister would unleash on him if he didn't wait for Emily's signal to come in.

"ITS LIKE— I get one shot and... that happens! One damn shot to happiness and boom I'm not allowed... AND THEN A TREE A DAMN TREE! Of course he had to throw me into a damn tree! I couldn't just loathe! NO! Of course he had to SHOW UP!" Violet continued to stomp and growl out. She stopped for a second, her head whipping around until she found a purple pillow that looked old. Her eyes locked on it and quickly picked it up.

"MY LIFES!" She yells, gripping both ends and growling as she rips it into two pieces," THIS! THIS AND THAT TREE AND THE FUCKING POLAR BEAR! OF COURSE IT HAD TO BE A DAMN VAMPIRE! I COULDN'T LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AND MY 80 BUCKS! I WANTED A FUCKING PRETZEL!"

"She's gone off the deep end," Paul made the mistake of muttering under his breath. Unfortunately, he did it in the presence of Vi. She whipped around, fists tightening and jaw locking as she whipped around. The look of pure terror on Pauls face was enough to scare all the teenage boys still, which was an even worse decision as Vi dove to the door and ripped it open. Her perfectly manicured nails dove straight for Paul, all she could see was red.

She had been nicknamed the hulk after all.

"VI!" Paul yelled in terror as he went to protect his face except she never reached him. One person knew her better then she probably did and more then likely as well as Sam did. Jake however had chosen to intervene unlike Sam, who decided it served the beta right for being an idiot.

Jacob Black chose to take one for the team, and save Paul from the beat up, plucking Violet straight out of the air. The air escaped The petite brunette, her hair covering her face as she was suddenly grabbed by familiar arms and held still.

Violet however did not happily oblige, instead she knew just how to get out of his grip. With the fire still building in her and the already wild flames of her anger towards Jacob combining  she didn't waste a moment, she turned around rapidly, loosening Jakes grasp so he would be caught off guard. Her right fist bunched up while doing so, using all the momentum she could conjure, Violet swung her hand out until a satisfying crunch echoed around the front yard.

Violet had a cunning smirk on her face when Jakes head snapped back and there was blood running down his face, her intentions were to break his jaw but his nose would suffice.

The grin dropped from her face quickly, the moment of glee gone as the anger overtook and she turned towards the wood. Quil attempted to stop her as Jake grunted in pain but Violet growled at him.

"NO ONE FOLLOW ME!" She practically roared and continued to stomp into the evergreen Forrest.

As she walked off Emily had to walk back into the house, stopping any wolf from seeing the satisfied smile on her lips.

Jacob Black sure did have that one coming.

Violet didn't really know where she was headed, all she knew was that she wanted to be smelling coffee and doughnuts not trees. She missed the city immensely, missed Seattle because it was her haven from this world and now she had been plucked away from it.

"Can we talk? Or do you want to skip to making out and breaking half this Forrest down?" A dark, husky voice suddenly caused Violet to stop in her tracks and whip around. He had the hottest smile on his full lips, one thick arm resting against the nearest tree and staring at her with those intense gold eyes.

"YOU!" She yelled, her rage being far too overwhelming for her too really pay attention to him. Although a small part of her did debate wether to take him up on his offer.

"Me," he simply answered. Eyes twinkling with mischief.

"YOU! You fucking Polar Bear! I want to toss you across these damn woods!" She growled, stepping forward.

"Now that isn't a nice way to start a relationship Violet," he smirked, admiring her creativity with the nickname. He had only spoken a few select words to her and most of her comebacks were anger but damn if that didn't make Emmett's stomach flocks with a herd of every insect possible. His heart would have probably lept straight to her if it weren't still.

"Oh fuck you!" She yelled. "You know what! Fuck it all! I don't want to fall for a bloodsucker! I don't want to be stuck in this shit town! All I want is my 80 dollars and those damn boots!"

Emmett was thoroughly confused, noting how her mind must have been jumbled into pieces yet she didn't care to stop the words that flew out of her mouth. The small grunts of displeasure she kept emitting and darkened eyes intrigued him further, he wanted to see every emotion she could display because he had a feeling each one would further pull him into her currents.

Truth be told Emmett had no idea if he actually wanted a mate, much less a pack baby for one. He could tell right off the bat she wasn't exactly a wolf but there was something special about Violet. Everything about her was special though, right down to the strange color of her hair and the gold flecks in it.

"And did you think I wanted a mutt for a mate?" He shot right back to her.

Violets head snapped right back to him, daringly stepping forward and using her strength to push him back. "Take that back!"

Emmett was honestly surprised that a girl her size could push him back but she did, add that to another of the things pulling the vampire in.

"No!" Emmett said back, standing his ground even though he could tell she wasn't anything like the wolves. He feared her.

"Don't ever fucking call me a mutt again or I'll strap a rocket up your ass!" She growled, pouting slightly.

"You called me a polar bear," he points out.

"I don't give a shit if I called you a damn pancake!" She yelled, once again pushing him back, shoving with each word. "Don't- Ever- Say- That- To- Me—"

Her words were cut off when Emmett grabbed her hands and pulled them apart so she could no longer push him.

"Don't push me," the smile was off his face and now he talked in that gruff voice that probably sent girls to their knees, but not Vi.

Violet was resilient and certainly irritated enough, even though a part of her told her not, she yanked her palms out his grip swiftly and smacked him across the chest with her shoulder. Emmett toppled over, landing on his back in pure surprise. Violet stepped to the side of him, her long legs on full view for him as he looked up at his mate with crossed arms and yet an angrier expression on her face.

"Don't touch me," she snarled, mouth now full blown pouting.

Emmett smirked up at her, realizing that she was quite the determined girl and not just a spoiled brat. His fingers were quick and in one short moment his cold grasp was yanking at her bare ankle and Vi was falling on her butt to the dirt floor. A fiery burn going up her spine and centering around her butt, although it did seem to help with her anger.

This seemed to jolt the brunette, the pain slowly subsiding as Emmett sat up and pulled his knees apart and upwards so either elbow could rest on them. His grey sweats now dirty with debris as Vi watched him swipe some of it away.

"Can we talk now?" He asked her, noting she had visibly calmed and her eyes had come back to their brown with gold and green flecks.

She nodded, realizing that games were over and they needed to have a talk. Violet sat up and criss crossed her legs.

"Why did you call me a polar bear?" He asked her, genuinely curious at the odd nickname.

Violet smirked, realizing that once again her creativity had gotten the best of her. "You're the size of a fucking bear dude, yet you're pale white which means a polar bear."

"Clever," Emmett pointed out, smiling at her. He would have never figured that one out by himself. "So Uley? Like Sam Uley? The La Push, Alpha werewolf?"

Violets eyebrows furrowed when he spoke her brothers voice. Her sharp tongue answering," yes you got a problem with that you fucking polar bear?"

Emmett lifted his hands up in surrender, mainly because he didn't want to get her angry once more. As much as liked watching her get riled up he preferred the calm and stable Violet Uley in the moment.

"No, just curious," he answered. Pink lips pulling into a joyous smile that didn't seem to be wiping off his mouth soon, not that Violet minded. "So about this uh..."

"Imprint? Mate bond?" She finished his thoughts, counting off in her fingers and then adding, "shit show?"

"No," Emmett laughed and then corrected himself. "Well yes but not the last one! About the mate bond and imprint."

"What's their to say?" She answered. Putting her screeching heart aside and answering in a nonchalant voice. "You've got a mate right? I'm not looking for any type of relationship, plus, I'll be dead in like 60 years so it's best we go different ways and—"

"I'm not with anyone," Emmett corrected her, golden eyes contracting when she spoke about death. Her words were so off, like she didn't care at all even though he knew she did. She had to.

"That doesn't make this any easier though," she explained. Speaking with her brain and not her heart, knowing there was no use to get her hopes up. She had hoped once and look where it got her, shattered to pieces and running away from the place she loved. She did always love to get away from the pain. "You're a vampire and my brother is the alpha of werewolves. Our kinds have been mortal enemies for years; Jake hates you all and I'm pretty sure there's going to be a war soon. Why put off the inevitable? You and I will never work. We are two stupid people who clearly weren't the brightest idea."

"You're a pessimist aren't you?" Emmett questioned his mate, ignoring the stabs of pain she gave him with every word she spoke. He didn't know what had made her so opposed to happiness but he was willing to bet it was something recent.

"I'm a realistic," she answered, shrugging her shoulders. "Be truthfully though—"

"Emmett."

"What?"

"My names Emmett Cullen," he introduced himself, sticking out his hand to her like they were greeting one another for the first time and hadn't already attacked one another.

A small smile broke out onto her face, not realizing until that moment she hadn't known his name. The name was a perfect fit for the overgrown boy.

Without thinking Violet lifted her hand into his cold one and held his tightly," I'm Violet."

"Just Violet?" He questioned, arching a brow. "Come on, we all have middle and last names."

"You didn't tell me yours," she pointed out.

"That's because my name is Emmett Cullen, plus, I'm hundred of years old darling. Middle names weren't as special as they were now. What is yours?" He spoke too her like an old friend.

Violet felt compelled to give it to him, knowing she deserved just a little happy time with her imprint before she walked away.

"Violet Odessa Uley," she spoke, her pink lips parting rather quickly over the words so Emmett would barley catch them. He was a vampire though, and vampires had exceptional hearing which meant he had caught every word.

"Odessa? That's special, fits you perfectly Ms. Uley," her name sounded like music to Violets ears. Her cheeks flushing when he spoke them.

Her heart was latched onto this conversation and his calloused, cold grip on her perfect fitting palm. She wanted to stay here and laugh with him for ages, the anger now having disappeared entirely from her mind. She felt not a single amount of displeasure towards Emmett Cullen which was making it much harder to let go.

"Well Mr. Cullen," she dropped her eyes and let go of his grip. Brushing her chocolate brown hair behind her ear as to have something to do with her hand other then grabbing at his. "We need to forget about this. You and I have to agree not to speak about this to anyone and forget about, we need to go our own ways."

Vi thought he would agree, breaking her heart and leaving her in pieces once more so it would be that much easier to once again leave. She planned to grieve far away from here and live out her life as best she could even though she knew it would never be complete.

"I can't," Emmett spoke, her eyes shifting up to his. "I'm falling for you already Vi."

I'm sorry but I love them so much! Vi and Emmett are going to be a power couple with anger issues as I can't freaking worst for you guys to see them! P.S. I loved how this came out.
