So Hollow Knight won out. Sorry anyone who wished for Ori, but I'm sure you'll still like the story and maybe I'll utilize Ori in another story someday.

All of you unanimously also voted for a single love interest so alright. I was originally going to have you all decide on one, but I'll present a reason for deciding myself on why I chose this but if you all still would like your own option you can tell me and if the reasoning is good enough I'll see what I can do.

One day, a mysterious new being came to Dreamland, one no one had ever seen before.

This new being was pretty much the exact opposite of Kirby in every way.

Kirby was upbeat, cheerful, warm and happy. This being was silent, emotionless and cold.

Kirby loved to eat. This being seemingly did not require sustenance at all.

Kirby wanted to befriend everyone, this being seemingly ignored everything around him.

Along with this new being came a strange infection that drove those with weak wills mad.

An infection so powerful that it even nullified the friendship hearts Kirby could use in Star Allies to turn enemies into friends.

However those who have already been turned into a friend gain an immunity to this infection.

You are this new being that came to Dreamland and it seems like you are on a mission to stop this infection.

So Kirby and friends decide to lend you their aid.

Soon you and they discover the hidden and ancient kingdoms of Planet Popstar, it's other ancient gods as well as your story and your reason for being.

Personality:
You seemingly have none. You show no expression, no emotion and do not even speak.

Once Kirby even tried to get you involved in their victory dance, you just stared on with those black hollow eyes.

You are so emotionless that you completely lack empathy, feeling no joy or sadness or anything over decisions you make that have consequences or others you kill during combat.

Abilities:
You are extremely talented at sword wielding as even with only an old blade you managed to trade strikes with Meta Knight and Sword Kirby.

One of your base abilities is known as "Focus," with each physical strike you deliver to a foe you gain a bit of soul.

Focus:

Once enough soul is collected you are able to use that soul to either heal or attack.

Healing is known as focus, and that is one of the abilities you are able to do from the start.

As the story progresses you'll gain new abilities that increase your power and puts you on even footing with Kirby.

Such as the Vengeful Spirit which will be upgraded to Shade Soul.

Vengeful Spirit:

Shade Soul:

The Vengeful Spirit allows you to fire off a blast of soul energy to damage foes.

Shade Soul is the same except the soul energy is mixed with Void increasing it's power.

Howling Wraiths:

Abyss Shriek:

Howling Wraiths allow you to send a blast of screaming souls upward for devastating damage.

Abyss Shriek once again mixes it with Void for extra power.

Desolate Dive:

Descending Dark:

Desolate Dive let's you slam yourself into the ground to create a shockwave of soul energy and Descending Dark utilizes Void.

Mothwing Cloak:
A cloak you gained that increases your speed and agility for quicker movements.

Shade Cloak:
After cloaking yourself in shadows you gain a few seconds of invincibility allowing you to completely phase through surfaces or even through attacks.

Monarch Wings:
Wings you gained during your journey that enfuses itself with your cloak allowing you to morph them like Meta Knight's cape. They give you flight.

Mantis Claw:
This handy little thing helps you gain the ability to cling to any surface no matter how smooth and bounce of them greatly increasing your mobility.
Simple, but very useful and opens up much more possibilities than one would expect.

You also eventually will learn Combat techniques from the great Nailmasters of Hallownest.

Great Slash:

Dash Slash:

Cyclone Slash:

Later you will also gain an artifact known as the Crystal Heart which will allow for a Crystal Dash.

Crystal Dash:
This will allow you to blast off in any vertical direction as well as damage low level foes.

Isma's Tear:
This little thing allows you to repel any acidic substances form your body, so it allows you to swim in acid and nullifies any form of acidic attacks.

However, one of the most powerful abilities you'll gain is the Dream Nail.

Dream Nail:
This extremely powerful weapon allows you to read the dreams of people and gain an insight to them.

It also allows you to physically enter their dreams under special conditions and peer into their memories or even fight a stronger version of them.

Another very odd ability you have is to resurrect yourself.

If you die, your body will disintegrate entirely leaving behind a creature known as a Shade.

Your Shade:
This creature of the shadows is pretty much your inner self. This is you in your purest form and once it is released upon your death it will remain in the spot you died and ignore everything around it.

Those who attempt to touch it will automatically get blasted back with a full force of Void.

Meanwhile your body regenerates at the last place you rested on and an even emptier you goes after the Shade.

Your Shade and Shell will then battle and once your shell defeats the shade it will be re-absorbed into the shell and become whole once more.

Your Love Interest:

Kirby:

Female Kirby will be your love interest because well I think it makes sense for the story.

You're a Vessel meant to contain a great infection and the only way for it to be successfully contained is if you remain completely empty and emotionless.

Then suddenly, you meet a pink ball of energy joy and positivity that slowly fills you with happiness and love.

You begin to want, you begin to feel and that would make your job as a Vessel very much impossible.

That's my reasoning for making Kirby the love interest.
