"coming!" taehyung ran down the stairs to open up the door for his friend. "hey yoongz, you there."
yoongi chuckled. "hey bear, why so excited?"
taehyung smiled. "you said to enjoy my life right? here i am, let's go!"
yoongi followed taehyung when the silver haired pulled him by his arm.
jimin's house wasn't far, they all kinda lived in the same area around, except for jungkook, so they could just go by feet. already from the outside you could see and imagine what was going on inside. bright, colourful lights were shooting through the windows, lightening up the dust outside.
taehyung felt a cold shiver run down his spine, but he decided to ignore it. there's no time for that. for a few hours, he wants to enjoy it, jungkook needs time, he doesn't want to see taehyung. that wish can taehyung grant him.
but for now he wants to forget about his worries.
"you'll stay with me right?" taehyung asked yoongi unsurely, but the older male nodded with a warm smile. "don't worry, i won't let you alone."
"thank you." taehyung pressed the knob of the doorbell, which's sound could be heard outside, mixed with the sound of loud basses.
taehyung hates parties.
the door opened revealing jimin, who looked surprised at them.
"t-tae? you are here?"
taehyung looked at him and then immediately away. "don't get your hopes up, i'm not here because of you."
jimin nodded. "i wasn't expecting that." he mumbled to himself.
taehyung and yoongi sat down at one of the sofas, the silver haired tried to look up as less as possible, not wanting to see how girls grind their asses against every second boy and how they eat each other's faces.
"hyung?" taehyung asked yoongi cautiously.
"what is bear?" he asked and taehyung sighed softly. "i'm sorry that... you know... i know you like jimin and i'm sorry that he d-doesn't l-like you because o-of me."
yoongi smiled softly. "c'mon taehyungie, you can't be serious. yes, i like jimin, but it's not your fault that he doesn't like me back. when his heart tells him he likes you, i accept that."
taehyung smiled sadly. "hyung, ask him for a dance."
"a what?"
taehyung smile brightened now. "just ask him for a dance, that won't harm both of you."
yoongi looked over to jimin, finding him talking to some guests. "no, it's okay, i won't leave you." he looked back to taehyung. taehyung was acting strange and not seeing jungkook around explains why. he guesses the younger is here to distract himself from whatever happened with jungkook.
taehyung pouted. "c'mon hyungie, just ask him, i'll search for hobi hyung, he must be here somewhere." he stood up and grabbed yoongi's arm, pulling him to sit up. yoongi groaned but chuckled. "okay, fine! i'll ask him.
taehyung squealed and clapped his hands.
"gooo!"
with a proud smile the silver haired watched his hyung go and make a move on his crush. he smiled when jimin seemed to have nothing against the idea and agreed.
when he saw jimin and yoongi dancing together, taehyung got up in search for hoseok. he'd also search for jin or namjoon, but they are probably doing something private.
long time wasn't needed and he found the red haired boy sitting at the counter, shoving shot of vodka into his throat.
taehyung smiled and walked next to him. "hey hyungie!"
"tae, nice to see you here. everything good?" the energetic male asked and taehyung gulped, because actually, nothing's good. but nonetheless the boy smiled. "yeah yeah, i'm fine."
"that's good!"
yeah...that's good. everything is good.
...
nothing's good. the loud music is damaging taehyung's ear drums, the smell of alcohol and sweat is almost unbearable, and most of all... jungkook isn't here.
"okay tae, enjoy yourself, i gotta go." taehyung panicked. "wait hyung! where are you going?!" he held hoseok's arm. he doesn't want to be alone here.
"i'm gonna go dancing, you comin too?" taehyung looked into the crowd and scrunched his nose. "no..it's fine. have fun, hyung."
and hoseok went off.
and taehyung was left alone.
he sighed and turned around on the counter.
"beer?" a voice asked and taehyung shook his head and mumbled a 'no, thank you'. the man asking shoved the glass towards the boy and chuckled. "c'mon babyboy, just a litte."
and taehyung stiffened recognising that voice. he turned to look at the person and almost screamed. "b-bogum?"
"missed me? i mean, we see each other in school and stuff, but it was a long time since we talked, wasn't it?" that disgusting smirk that the older male had on his lips was making taehyung wanting to throw up.
"just go, i don't wanna talk to you." taehyung looked away.
"oh babyboy, don't tell me you don't miss me." bogum said and taehyung scoffed.
"the audacity to think that." taehyung mumbled, taking a sip of the glas. he wasn't here to drink and all in all, he usually hates the taste of alcohol. that's why he hissed lightly and quickly put the glas back down.
"still don't like beer, right."
"never have, never will." taehyung said, not looking to the male. he was scared, but he was good at not showing it.
"you haven't changed."
taehyung scoffed. "oh i have."
"yeah you have, you're not mine anymore." bogum snickered and taehyung rolled his eyes.
"i never was yours." taehyung called the boy working on the counter to bring the glas away. bogum smirked.
"you jungkook's now?"
taehyung halted by the mention of his boyfriend. "how do you know jungkook."
"don't worry, you'll find out soon." bogum chuckled and that's when taehyung's view started to get blurry.
"are you alright?" bogum asked and taehyung held his head and shook it.
"let's go outside." bogum said with a smirk and taehyung nodded lightly, following the male. "g-gosh, i feel sick." the silver haired mumbled and bogum laughed. "don't worry, babyboy, it'll stop soon."
"you just have to take some fresh air."
taehyung didn't know anything anymore. everything was blurry and he didn't even know who the male next to him was. stepping outside, he almost fell from the door step, when two strong arms caught him.
"j-jungkook?" taehyung asked and the male chuckled. "just thirty years older."
and everything around taehyung went dark.
jungkook was lying on the couch, scrolling through his phone. he has thought a lot and he regrets shouting at taehyung, when the older just wanted him to move on.
and jungkook knows his father must have tricked him someway, so it wasn't his fault.
taehyung never wanted bad for jungkook and the ravenette knows that. he hates himself for making taehyung cry. but nonetheless, he needs time to figure his own things out.
he isn't mad at taehyung and would run over to him in the next second and show him how much he loves him.
but. if jungkook's father had the chance to talk to taehyung once, it means taehyung is in danger. jungkook set his mission to get rid of his father, before something happens to taehyung.
sudden anxiety brightened out inside of jungkook and he quickly dialed taehyung's number.
'this is kim taehyung, or tae, or taetae. i'm probably playing fortnite, so please leave a message after the beep sound thingy!' beeep-
jungkook smiled lightly, but worry took over quickly. he sighed and laid back down, only to sit up again, when his phone ringed.
his eyes glistening thinking it must be taehyung. he was confused though when it was yoongi. "hyung, what is?"
"taehyung, he..."
