I used to be one of the happiest people on the planet. Now I put on a smile just for show. It started when my best friend abandoned me for the new girl that had just arrived to our school. It was so all of a sudden. One day she came up to me at recess and told me that we were not BFFS anymore. When i asked her if we could just be friends, she thought for a moment and shook her head. Then she skipped off to play with her new "bestie" Rosalind. That hurt so much. I used to be one of  the most friendliest and well known girl in the grade. Now I just drifted through class. Well Rosalind moved away a year later. And my ex best friend came back to me like nothing happened. I refused her though. That got her MAD and spread nasty rumors about me. You know what? Best friends are overrated.
