This story depicts a real experience that I endured when I was 15 back in 2017. I began writing it after it was over, but I had changed so much for the sake of writing a story that I grew out of touch with the initial idea.

My grandmother made the first suggestion to write a story about this experience so that I could help other teens going through the same thing. Later, I got into reading novels of the same topic, and was disgusted by the amount of unreal or rare occurrences that I wanted to share my own story about a more common experience.

I'm not sure if I will ever finish the story, but I have decided to make it more true to my experience with mostly minor changes for the sake of privacy and plot development. So early chapters will soon be replaced.

As I am now a freelance writer, music critic, and full-time college student, I will be editing very slowly. But I will try to finish it, whether that be in one year or 13. Additionally, I don't usually write in a linear way, so the chapters may jump around a bit.
