a few (not so) kind words

Roman wasn't quick with decisions, he usually took a few minutes to think about if what he was doing was the right or wrong thing, in his mind, everything he did was wrong, everything he was, was wrong. His all too annoying voice, his over dramatic personality, the way his costume made him stand out, the fact that he was the 'prince'. All of that made him feel even worse about himself. Anyways, he always took time to think about what he was doing, but this time, he didn't think about it.

He wrapped up his arms carelessly. He just wanted to get this over with. Sharp pains rose up his arms, but he was used to it at this point.

Once the damage was fully covered up, he pulled his white sleeve down, out of every color in the world, Roman's costume had to be white! That was one of the things he hated about it. How white it was, it was almost like camouflage to his pale skin. He also despised how golden sheets of silk and whatever other fabrics went across each shoulder. If his costume didn't scream "LOOK AT ME!" already.

"Another day, another unrealistic fever dream of an idea.." He mumbled, fixing his sash. Red. That's the only color he could stand seeing anymore. Red was a pretty color with pretty shades-like blood! Roman ran a hand through his hair to tame the mess before leaving his room. He had to- otherwise Patton would be concerned for him.

He hadn't really been the biggest fan of red in the first place, but now it was his signature color. If he had to choose, his color would be black, yet if he did, he would be copying everyone's favorite character.

He was lifted out of his thoughts by a laugh, a fucking laugh no sane person would want to hear...Remus.

The prince sighed, partly in annoyance and partly because he knew Remus was the better 'twin' between them. To be completely honest, he didn't know what remus was to him. He just knew he once shared the same mind and body with the gruesome lad.

"What do you want, Professor Dukey-ton?" Roman asked, getting annoyed already by the presence of the intrusive side. Remus laughed at the nickname, seemingly liking it.

"How's my dear brother this fine morning?" Remus asked with a crazed smile that only Remus can accomplish.

"Perfect as always- now what do you want?" Roman asked, trying to keep his cool. Everything felt just...numb? Yeah-..that's the right word. Everything was numb and bland, something that creativity shouldn't be feeling. But then again- was he even fit for the role? What if he never was made for this at all? Maybe there was a mistake in the process of Thomas's thoughts and the roles of the sides. Maybe- he wasn't actually creativity at all? It was stupid to think about, but this thought would definitely send him in some sort of spiral later on.

The numbness made it hard to care about anything really. He felt like he was sucked into a void but also felt like he was chained to the bottom of the ocean.

"Can't I just say hi? What's the *harm* in that?" Remus asked, putting hard emphasis on the word 'harm'.

Omg, an update. It's been like 7 months but here you guys go! Sorry it's been so slow!!
