"Oh my god, Felix-"
"Is moving in with you," Hyunjin sighed, cutting a very excited Jisung off. He watched as Jisung leaned back on the massive tree bark he was seated under, shoulders slumped in defeat. Hyunjin chuckled. "You said that for the fourteenth time now, Sung."
"Let the boy live, Jinnie." said Seungmin, elbowing his boyfriend.
Jisung flashed a sheepish smile, looking to his right to see Felix play with a {tiny} fistful of grass in between his crossed legs. His blond hair partially covered his eyes but the shy smile on his lips was very much visible, just like the blush across his cheeks.
"Why are you sitting far? Come closer." Jisung pouted, patting on the grass by his side.
Felix stole a glance at the brunette, immediately scooting closer with a grin. He settled comfortably in an embrace, with his hands wrapped around Jisung's waist as the latter brushed his fingers through Felix's soft hair.
Watching the two cuddle in open daylight, both Seungmin and his boyfriend couldn't help but smile. The sight was heartwarming.
"He's like your little kitten or something." Hyunjin cooed, his words making Felix bury his face against Jisung's black hoodie. "So cuddly and adorable."
Where was the lie though? Felix most certainly was adorable, mayhaps the most adorable person Jisung had ever encountered. He sighed, a very warm, content feeling seeping through his heart.
After a moment, Seungmin cleared his throat. "So Jisung.. Those notes you gave me this morning.."
"Ah yes-" Jisung replied, remembering he had shoved the anonymous notes into Seungmin's hands without much explanation. "Those are the notes I've been getting.." He paused, feeling the blond shift in his arms. He hadn't told Felix a thing about it, and decided to keep it that way. "Just.. Check them for me, okay? There's numbers and stuff I don't quite get. And maybe see if you know the handwriting."
Seungmin responded with a quick nod, ignoring Hyunjin's confused gaze that darted between Jisung and him. "I'll check them." He replied, giving his boyfriend's thigh a light squeeze in hopes he'd catch up that Jisung did not want to talk about it in Felix's presence.
"Anyways.." Hyunjin started, combing his silk hair backwards. "I heard there's an Australian transfer student."
Upon noticing Felix stiffen, his grasp on Jisung's hoodie tightening, Jisung peered into the boy's face with worry.
"You good, baby?"
The blond gave no response, slowly moving away from Jisung as he straightened his posture {stream double knot eng.}, deep in thoughts.
Just then, the question Jisung had been so awfully bothered by, but avoided, popped into his head once more. He clasped Felix's hand in his, take a moment to word his question properly.
"Lix.. Do you.." He paused, eyeing Felix whose gaze was on his lap. "Do you know Bang Chan?"
The blond swallowed hard, a troubled expression warping his pretty face. He timidly nodded a 'yes'.
"Did he... Bully you before?"
Seeing that the boy wasn't responding, the silence grew tense, both Hyunjin and Seungmin exchanging looks without daring to speak a word.
Jisung squeezed Felix's hand. "Baby, look at me." He spoke softly.
The blond lifted his head, but instead of locking eyes with Jisung's, his gaze froze on something behind the group of boys. His breath gradually quickening, Felix shrunk closer to Jisung, terrified.
The three boys took a quick glance to the direction, confused. An unfamiliar boy with dusty brown hair, all tousled up in a mess, approached the group, his eyes on Felix.
He walked around from behind Seungmin and Hyunjin and stopped, still staring at the afraid blond on the verge of tears.
"Who the fuck are you? Go away." Jisung rose to his knees, glaring at the stranger. He didn't like seeing Felix uncomfortable.
The stranger smiled, dimples forming on each side of his mouth. "The name's Chan." He said, kneeling on one knee to meet Felix at eye level. "Bang Chan."
Jisung growled, protectively moving in front of Felix. "Oh fuck off, you're not touching him you little-"
"Woah- clam down." Chan raised his arms in defence. "Listen up, kid. If you think I'm like Changbin, you're hella wrong." He sighed, ruffling his unkept hair. He looked so genuinely offended.
Jisung narrowed his eyes, sitting back down and allowing the Australian to continue speaking.
"The difference between Seo Changbin and I, is that Changbin never changes." Chan stated, his voice solid with determination. "He does not learn from his mistakes, neither does he accept that he is wrong."
The boys responded with silence, Jisung taking a moment to process things. He noticed Felix relax his shoulders, but the boy still seemed just as afraid. He had subconsciously gripped onto Jisung's sleeve with his small hands.
"So, Felix.." Chan started, a conflicted smile spreading over his lips. His eyes held swirls of regret. So much so that anyone could tell just by looking at him. "I'm incredibly sorry for everything." He paused, releasing a dry chuckle. "I really am.. But you don't have to forgive me, I just wanted to get it off my chest."
Chan shifted his attention to Jisung, who hadn't stopped glaring at him. He chuckled. "So you must be the Jisung boy.."
His words caused Jisung to lift an eyebrow, still visibly displeased at the Australian's sudden appearance. "Yea no shit. So what?"
"Nothing," Chan spoke as he stood up, adjusting his black leather jacket. He grinned, dimples on perfect display. "I'm just glad you found Felix."

Jisung cursed underneath his breath, a scowl forming on his face. Just as he had thought the day was going smoothly, he opened his locker after school to be met with the sight of a familiar folded paper lying over his things.
With a groan, he grabbed the note and unfolded it, squinting to run his eyes over the messy words.
And just like that, all that dread and anxiety slowly resurfaced, disturbing his mind all over again. He slipped it into his pocket, reminding himself to give the note to Seungmin to see.
