The next few weeks slid by, and soon enough, we were allowed to walk again. Yukina still had her broken arm, but both of her legs healed and mine did as well.
Then, we were able to get back to school.
"Yukina, are you nervous?" I ask while helping her get her blazer on.
"Not at all, the bullies are still out there but after what their parents said, I doubt they will do anything to us." She turned around. "Y/N-san, I am truly grateful to have met you."
I place a kiss on her forehead. "I am as well, but do you think the bullies will leave us alone? I don't think a stern word will make them stop, if be thrilled if they moved schools, however." I laugh. "Anyway we should be going."
Yukina nods and grabs her bag, and then we make our way towards our school.
We set off early so we could get there without anybody stopping us. When we managed to get there, we made our way to class 2-B and told our teacher that I would be helping Yukina to write, since she can't.
Then we roamed the school for a while, keeping a lookout for a certain pair.
"Yukina-San." We turned around to see an annoyed Lisa. "Fancy seeing you here."
I stare. Is she jealous? She has been strangely silent since the whole hospital incident.
"Imai Lisa." Yukina calmly replies. "You're not your normal self. What's wrong?"
A sign of jealousy comes from Roselia's bassist. "I thought you liked me! Why do you like her?"
"Are you having a laugh? We went over this. TWICE." I step in. "You can't have Yukina all to yourself you know."
"I'm quitting Roselia." And with that, she walked off.
"She really did it." Yukina sighed. "She quit all because I rejected her. My first friend." I see a small tear going down her cheek. Wow they must have been close.
"Yukina..." I grab her hand. "We will get her back, but first, go to practice today, and inform everyone. I'll come along and we will plan this, step by step."
"You're right, Y/N. I'm sorry you got caught up in this." She kisses me.
"This might be a difficult process for you, but there is a few dozen ways we can make this work."
