A day after the incident.
Yukina has been off lately. We have had several visitors, doctors, Roselia, people from school and even teachers. What was the biggest surprise of the day was that the parents of the bullies came and personally apologised for their daughters and said that they would take them to a place to control their behaviour.
That was appropriate for them to do, but I couldn't stop thinking about Yukina.
We had a visit from Roselia today, they were super kind as usual but Sayo wanted to ask me something in private. I could walk on crutches so I managed to pull myself outside our shared room in the hospital.
"L/N-San. I need to ask you something. Do you love Minato-San?" She had one of those super serious faces on, so I knew she wasn't joking.
"I don't know, really." I answer simply. "I mean I have had some feelings which I haven't had before, and I don't know how to explain it..." I mumble. Sayo then places her hands on my shoulders.
"L/N-San. I advise you to keep away. Lisa has a crush on Minato anyway."
My heart shattered. Lisa liked Yukina? I mean they are childhood friends but I can't imagine them being that close!
"I'm, just going to go back in." I wobble back to the room and carefully place myself on my hospital bed.
And then I break down.
Yukina was still talking to Lisa and I can see Lisa blushing at Yukina. I cry and cry.
I must love her, I've never experienced this feeling before! This is the feeling of heartbreak. I've found my answer! And I will confess when we get out of here!
"Yukinaaa~" Lisa looks at Yukina in the eyes. "I want to tell you something. I... think, I love..."
I waited for this. I wanted to rip her head off her body.
"You." She looks at Yukina directly in the eyes.
"Imai-San? I'm sorry, I have feelings for someone else."
Wait WHAT.
Wait wait wait wait.
"Minato? I would have thought you would have said yes." Sayo calmly stepped in the room. "How come you didn't?"
"I said it, didn't I? I have feelings for someone else." She replied, and I noticed she was blushing heavily.
"Who it is then?" Ako demanded. "Lisa told us about the fact that you liked her."
"I did, I just simply found a girl that I liked more." Yukina sighed. "Take a guess on who it is."
Rinko looked at me, then back to Yukina. She knew. She knew who it was.
"Is it... L/N-San?" She mumbled.
Lisa looks at me. "Her?"
Sayo and Ako turn towards me.
Yukina asks for help to get up, since her arm is broken and both her legs. I decide to go over there myself.
"I... didn't know you felt this way about me, and I only just realised myself that I do as well." My cheeks turn a bright red. "I love you Yukina Minato."
"Y/N L/N, I love you too."
Our lips touched. This feeling was a sensation I had never experienced, and it's all because I found true love.
