That word hit me like a bullet. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't fight back, not after all these years of continuous abuse off my parents, all I could do was pray that we would be all right.
Apart from the fact that it never came.
I opened my eyes, hoping that Yukina was still there, but what I saw next was unbelievable.
"Y-Yukina!" I see her laying on the floor, "What did they do to you?"
"They... got me." Was all she could get out.
"What happened?" I silently ask. "It's alright. You can tell me."
She attempted to sit up, but had a stinging pain in her hip.
"They beat me up. They got me." She coughed. "I'm sorry you got involved in this."
"Sorry..? Yukina it's not your fault!" I glance a look at her arm, then mine.
We are in the same position.

"What's taking them so long?" Ako places her hand on the table.
"No clue." Lisa answered. "It's taking them awfully long though. The bell will go soon."

"You know first aid?" Yukina asked.
"Yes. It was useful, for the situation I was in..." I mumble.
The bell went off, signalling the end of lunch period.
"Can you walk?" I ask.
"To class, I can try." Yukina replies, attempting to stand up. I helped her and we began to slowly walk back to class.
"What were the bullies saying to you...?" I inquire.
"Awful things, about my sister, who died when I was very young. They said that all my efforts on being a singer were useless as well."
I think. Those bullies seemed familiar, from when I was back in my hometown.
"L/N-san." Yukina interrupts my train of thought. "We are here."
"Oh, yes so we are." I push open the door. The teacher looks at us two.
"Minato and L/N, why are you late?"
"I'm sorry Sensei, we... ran into some trouble and were forced to take a long time."
"As long as it doesn't happen again, I'll let it slide."
I help Yukina back to her seat and then sit down on mine, getting out my equipment for the lesson.
Apart from focussing, I also thought about where I had seen the bullies before. I didn't actually see them in the toilets but a recognised their voices.
Then it hit me. They were the daughters of my parent's friends. I quickly scribble it down on a sticky note and passed it to Yukina.
Here's the whole conversation.

Y/N: I recognise those bullies.
Yukina: Where from?
Y/N: My hometown, they were daughters of my parent's friends.
Yukina: Oh
Y/N: I don't think they have met me here yet though. They didn't get me when we were in the toilets.
Yukina: That's lucky.
Y/N: Yukina, ignore what they are saying about you.
Yukina: I'm thinking about going to band practice today.
Y/N: Ooh! Can I come and watch?
Yukina: Whatever suits you best.

"Yukina? Why are you coming back?" Lisa asks Yukina.
"Don't know. Let's start." Yukina stands in front of the mic.
"Why is she here?" Sayo asks Yukina.
"She wanted to come, I couldn't say no." Yukina smiles at me.
A SMILE.
"I think you will be amazing Yukina, go on." I stand up. "I believe in you!"
"What song?" Ako asks.
Yukina thinks. "Black shout."
