Warning: mention of self-harm. Read at your own risk!!
It had been a week till Priya had recovered properly. She was in good shape now, from the love and care that the others showered on her. She was lucky to have them by her side. Now she was ready to go back to work.
However, during her recovery, the important necklace that Vishal gave her, along with the note still invaded her thoughts. Not in a sinister or evil way, but in a more curious way. She wanted to know the story behind the necklace. She knew Vishal wanted to help her. Vishal was a good man and she knew this. He gave her advice, saved her life twice. During her recovery, she read the note over and over again and looked at the necklace. She didn't get it out in front of everyone, especially Prem. She didn't want him to worry. Neither did she get it in front of Anjali, Amar and the others. They would get the wrong end of the stick.
Breakfast in the house was full of joy and laughter. Priya was okay again and Rita hasn't done anything to her for the past few days and not hearing about her helped her. Sadhana was also being looked after, seeing as she was pregnant. There was no bump visible yet. But the others told her to take things slowly.
Everyone left for work. Everyone except, Mamta, Sunita, Pritam, Sangeeta, Sadhana, Lalloo, Chameli, Rohan and Simran.
Prem drove Priya to work. It was only them in the car, with Priya at the passenger seat. She kept the necklace and note that Vishal gave in her bag, hoping Vishal would tell her the story. Her blue folder sat on her lap. Today Priya wore a red dress with a white short sleeved top inside. Her red dress had three thin straps on the shoulders. She had her beautiful hair in two plaits. She wore silver shoes. The necklace that Prem gave her was around her neck, the bangles and even the ring he gave her.
She stared out at the window. It was a beautiful sunny day. Prem was focused on the drive. It was a comfortable silence, both enjoyed it. Prem kept glancing at Priya and saw how quiet she was. He became quite concerned. He broke the silence.
"Princess?" He asked. He looked at her for a few seconds then went ahead to focus on the road.
"Hm?" Priya was broken off from her trance. She looked at her handsome prince.
"Kya hua?" He asked her.
"Kuch nahin." She replied. She couldn't tell him about the necklace that Vishal gave.
"You're awfully quiet. Is there something on your mind, Shona?" He asked her.
There is something on my mind, jaan. I wish I could tell you but I can't. It's nothing bad, but I don't want you to worry. Priya thought.
"No of course not. I'm fine. I think, me going back to work is just, I don't know how to describe it. It feels good to be back, outside, doing my normal thing. And just being better. I don't even know if I'm making sense but you know what I mean, right?" Priya spoke sweetly, looking at her handsome lover.
"I know exactly what you mean, Princess. You're your happy self again and now you can get on with your routine again." Prem replied kindly.
"Yeah I guess. The recovery did take long, but it was all worth it at the end." Priya replied and giggled cutely.
"Haan I'm glad you took time to recover. You're smiling again, you're laughing again. There's happiness and joy in you again that I know my Priya always had. Your beauty has come back, not to say that you were ugly when you were injured. Your rosy cheeks and beautiful gaze from your bewitching eyes have returned." Prem explained looking at her when they came to red traffic lights. He smiled at her and looked into her eyes. She smiled back and blushed.
"Oh Prem. That's so sweet." She said sweetly, looking away. She started fiddling with one of the gold sparkling bangle on her wrist. She avoided Prem's eyes since he made her shy.
Prem chuckled and looked at her with adoration. He really loved this girl so much. Words couldn't even describe how much. He reached for her hand that laid on her lap and gave it a gentle squeeze.
"And you're even sweeter." He said kindly and continued driving when the traffic lights turned green.
Priya had one question on her mind. This wasn't to do with the important necklace that Vishal gave her. This was to do with their relationship. Her's and Prem's relationship. She wanted to know if Prem still trusted and loved her through the troubles with Rita these past few weeks. Her conscience was telling her not to ask, but her heart was telling her otherwise. She had to follow her heart.
"Jaan?" Priya started sweetly and nervously looking at him. She swallowed the lump in her throat.
Prem looked at her. One hand was on the steering wheel and the other on the gears. He saw and heard the nervousness in Priya.
"Yes, Shona? Is everything okay?" He asked concerned and softly.
"Can I ask you something?" She asked dryly.
"Yes of course." He said.
"I want you to be honest with me, Prem." She said.
"Priya, what's wrong?" He asked raising an eyebrow. He was confused with what Priya was saying.
"Prem, even with everything that happened with Rita a few weeks ago, do you still trust me? Do you trust me and love me still?" Priya asked nervously. She looked down at her lap after asking the question. She started fiddling with her bag strap.
They had arrived at Priya's workplace, so Prem turned the engine off. Priya didn't know they arrived. He sighed,
"Priya, why are you asking?"
"Please Prem, just answer me." She pleaded. She needed an answer. Her heart was thumping.
He smiled and caressed her cheek,
"Princess, part of loving someone is trusting them. If you can't trust them, how can you possibly love them? Of course I trust you and love you the same way as I always did. Even with what happened with Rita a few weeks ago from the beginning of our relationship, I still have that same love for you." He spoke.
"But I kept things hidden from you, and with that you still trust me?" She asked.
"I know, but I wouldn't blame you. The threats she gave you as soon as our relationship started was quite scary and obviously you didn't know how to open up. This is your first relationship right?" He said, taking his hand away from her cheek and grabbing her hand, entwining their fingers. His heart fluttered at the ring he gave her on her finger.
"Yes this is my first relationship." She said.
"Exactly. To have someone threatening you when you're in a relationship with someone else is quite scary and I understand why you kept quiet. You took your time to finally open up and eventually you did, which I'm proud about. You were strong through this and that's why I love you so much Priya." He spoke and kissed her knuckles.
She smiled. She worried for no reason. Her heart fluttered at Prem's words which made her smile. They looked into eachother's eyes.
"I love you more Prem." She said sweetly. He smiled and placed his hand on her cheek.
"Acha, we've arrived to your place." He said.
"Oh yes." She said and laughed. They got out of the car and stood next to eachother at the bonnet of the car.
He placed his hands on her shoulders and said,
"Princess, you have a good day at work today." She smiled.
"I will. And you too, okay?" She said.
"I will. Take things slowly okay? It's your first day back so don't be hard on yourself." He told placing his hands on her cheeks.
"Don't worry. I'm sure sir, as in Vishal, won't give me much to do. He'll tell me to take things slowly." She said placing her hand on his hand.
Prem's smile slightly vanished at the mention of Vishal's name. But he didn't make it obvious to Priya that he was slightly feeling jealous. Yes, after the drastic night of the party, Prem still didn't like Vishal's name being mentioned even by Priya. He appreciates that Vishal saved his princess, but it made his insides turn. It seemed a bit weird for Priya to mention Vishal's name to much because she loved Prem.
But Priya saw the smile change slightly and she saw him avoid her eyes.
"Kya hua?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
Prem shook his head and kissed her forehead.
"Nothing I thought I forgot something. But I didn't. Okay you have to get going now, Priya." He said.
"Yeah you're right." She started walking off and Prem grabbed her back. He placed his hands on her waist and pulled her back. Her back was pressed against his beating chest and she was slightly confused.
"Huh?" Prem went to the side to kiss the corner of her mouth. He whispered in her ear,
"I love you Priya." She leaned her head against his jaw in a loving gesture which Prem returned by leaning his cheek against her cheek.
"I love you too, Prem." She said and she turned and leaned up to plant a kiss on his cheek.
"Okay, I've got to really go now." She said and laughed.
"Okay, Shona. See you later." He said and off Priya went. He saw Priya walk inside and then he went inside his car and drove off.
Priya entered the office and saw Vishal on his desk working. He was very focussed and concentrated on the work that he didn't realise that Priya came in.
Her heart thumped when she saw him. She was reminded of the important necklace that he gave her. She hoped that he will tell her the story.
"Good morning sir." She greeted when she came in. She closed the door and walked over to her desk. She settled her bag and blue folder down and sat on her chair. They both had two separate desks.
"Oh good morning Priya. Didn't hear you enter for some reason." He said looking at her.
"Oh you were so absorbed with your work that's why." She laughed.
He chuckled.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked in a normal way.
"Much better, thank you for asking." She said nicely.
"And how's everyone at home?" He asked.
"Good."
"That's good. Now let's give you work and you can take things slowly. If at any moment you don't feel well, please tell me and you can stop." He told her. He started gathering papers for Priya. They were documents from a client.
"Acha thank you. But, sir, there is something I do want to ask you about." She told. She was quite nervous and she felt her body heat up slightly.
"What's that?" He asked looking up, a look of concern written on his face.
Priya got the important necklace and the letter that Vishal gave her out of her bag.
Vishal was slightly surprised that she brought the necklace and letter with her.
"I actually read this letter and looked at the necklace during my recovery most of the time." She told him looking at him. He looked at her and smiled,
"Why? You had to focus on yourself. I told you not to focus on the necklace." He said.
"Well, I was kind of interested in this necklace and how it linked to your past. I wanted to know the story of the necklace and how it is similar to my current situation." She said.
He smiled.
"Ah yes I did say I would tell you when you recovered."
"Here I am better than ever and you promised." She said happily. He chuckled.
"First get some work done." He said. "You're here for work." He added.
"Acha." She said.
Priya had finished her tasks. So did Vishal. It was now 12:30.
"Sir I'm finished." She told him.
"So have I." He said.
"So now tell me the story." She said. "Please?" She added with beautiful pleading eyes. He laughed at her expression.
"Acha." He scooted over to her desk and sat near her. But not too close.
He grabbed the necklace and looked at it. He was silent and he had this sad and hurt look on his face. Priya saw and she grew worried.
"Kya hua, Vishal? I'm calling you Vishal now because this has nothing got to do with work." She said.
"Haan it's fine. You can call me Vishal." He laughed plainly continuing to look at the necklace in a sad way. Priya saw and asked softly,
"Hey Vishal? Are you okay?" He looked at her and said,
"Yeah I'm okay. Looking at the necklace reminds me of my hurt past and the tragic moments. Listen carefully." He began. Priya nodded and listened intently. Vishal began to tell the story.
"This necklace takes us back to March 1992, three years ago, to a girl named Rani..."
Flashback to 21st March 1992
"Rani, you know I love you so much." An upset and broken 21 year old Vishal said.
"I know, Vishal. I love you too." An 18 year old Rani cried.
"Then why are you doing this?" He asked.
"I just have to do what feels right in my heart, Vishal. I just don't belong here. People clearly don't like us together." She cried. He grabbed her hand and led her to sit on the bed opposite eachother.
"Do you like us together?" He asked.
"Haan of course. I love us together." She answered.
"So why are doing this? And that too on your 18th birthday? If you love us together, you wouldn't think this is the right thing to do. So kyun, Rani, why are you doing this?" Vishal said.
"Vishal, I love you so much. I do. But things lately haven't been great. It's been scary. People have been telling me I'm not good enough for you. I'm not worth your love. I was constantly told I am useless, worthless, disgusting, horrible, ugly, horrific, stupid and so much more. These things have been replaying in my mind for the past few months and now I'm trapped inside walls. Thick walls blocking me out from the world. I feel like I've been controlled by other people. I don't know who I am anymore. I have no control over myself, Vishal." Rani told while tears sprung out of her eyes.
Vishal took Rani in his arms. She cried against his broad chest and heard his beating chest. She cried her out and placed her arms against her. He stroked her back to stop her crying.
"Hey sssh. Ssshh. It's okay Rani." He soothed her and kissed her forehead.
"Rani, you have a heart of gold. You're beautiful and sweet. You're smart and you're kind. That's why I fell in love with you first and still love you all the same. You can't let these people get to you. They don't know how perfect we are for each other." Vishal told her.
"Vishal, you're so sweet for those words, but not everyone is happy with our relationship. Not everyone approves of me being with you. I just feel like we should end things." Rani said with hurt in her voice.
"When you say 'everyone', who are you talking about?" He asked.
"Sonia." She answered getting out of his embrace.
"Yeh Sonia koun hain? (Who's this Sonia?)" Priya asked.
"She was the girl who affected my relationship with Rani. I've never seen her since the day the worst thing happened to me." He answered with a sad voice.
"What did Sonia do?" Priya asked.
"Let me tell you." He answered.
"Sonia? You mean Sonia Patel?" He asked.
"Yes, that Sonia. Vishal, she's been telling me all these nasty things about me that I shouldn't be with you." Rani said standing up. She walked over to look out the window at the night sky.
"It's because she's in love with you, Vishal." She told him. Vishal grabbed her wrist and suddenly, Rani winced in pain.
"Kya hua?" Vishal asked. Rani grabbed her wrist and shook her head. Her wrist started paining.
"There is something. Tell me." Vishal said.
"Kuch nahin." She said in a nervous tone.
"Rani, there's something you're not telling me." He said. He grabbed Rani's hand and rolled up her sleeve. His eyes widened, his heart thumped. No words came out of his mouth.
Rani's wrist had cuts.
"You mean...she?" Priya asked surprised.
Vishal nodded.
"She was self harming." He told her, with pain in his voice.
"I'm so sorry Vishal." Priya said kindly placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"No, it's not really anyone's fault, except Sonia's." He said.
"That's absolutely tragic and sad. This Sonia must have really affected her so much. Like emotionally and mentally." Priya said.
"Haan. I just don't know why Sonia had to do this to my Rani. And why didn't Rani tell me about Sonia in the first place and why she started self harming." Vishal said.
"I think I know why. When walls come to block the outside world, you feel trapped and isolated. Like Sonia must have said things that really hurt Rani emotionally and mentally, she probably didn't know how to tell someone and that's why she turned to self harm. When someone threatens you like that, it's not easy to open up, especially if you've been told to keep your mouth shut. That's how I was when Rita came and affected my relationship." Priya explained.
"Maybe you're right." He said.
"What did you say to her when you saw her wrist?" Priya asked softly.
Rani's right wrist were scattered with cuts. Some faint cuts that were pink, probably healing. There were deep red cuts that must have been recent cuts. It was horrific to look at.
"Rani? What is all this?" Vishal asked surprised. Rani looked up at him with crystal tear eyes. He looked at her too. This was the first time he found out that Rani was self harming.
"Why Rani? Why are you cutting your beautiful wrists? Why? You know it's bad." Vishal asked with hurt written on his face.
Rani gulped. She took her wrist away.
"I know it's bad. I know that. But what was I supposed to do? Sonia and other people like her friends told me I'm not worth you. She constantly told me everyday and told me not to tell you. She made me feel depressed and anxious. She seemed to take control over me and my mental health. Self harm had to be done. It was the only thing I can take control of and it gave me some sort of satisfaction and the tingling sensation of the tender blade through my skin gave me satisfaction." Rani told in tears.
"Rani, do you know that doing this is going to make things worse for you." Vishal said with tears in his eyes now.
"I know and I'm sorry Vishal. I started doing it for a few months now. It just gave me the control." She replied.
"Did you even think about telling me?" He asked.
"She told me if I told you, she would make my life worse. She would separate us and probably take my life away." She cried.
"Rani, I would have helped you through all this. You were supposed to tell me. I can't bear the thought of losing you. I love you, Rani." Vishal said putting his hands on her wet cheeks and wiping her tears.
"I love you too, Vishal. I really do. But I think it's all too late." Rani said. She took off the necklace that Vishal gifted her that day of her 18th birthday and placed it on his hand.
"This necklace is Rani's. You gifted on her 18th birthday?" Priya asked shocked looking at Vishal with wide eyes.
"Haan. And it was that night of her birthday, that, she did what she did." Vishal said sadly looking at the beautiful necklace.
"What was that?" Priya asked softly.
"Rani, what are you doing?" Vishal asked shocked and scared. His heart thumped like a thousand drums.
Rani grabbed her bags. She packed everything of hers. She had tears in her eyes and walked over to Vishal. They looked into eachother's watery eyes.
"I'm sorry Vishal. I know this doesn't seem right to you, but I think it's for the best for the both of us and everyone else. I don't think I deserve you." She began.
"Rani, please. Don't do this." Vishal cried. She placed her bags down. She gave a sad smile and placed her hand on his wet cheek.
"Hey. Stop crying. Vishal, you look bad when you cry." She told.
"Rani, you can't do what I think you're doing." Vishal cried.
"It's for the best, Vishal. I'm sorry." She told. She leaned up and kissed his wet cheek.
"I love you Vishal. I will always love you. No matter what happens, you will always have my heart. Thank you for showing me the journey of love and who knows if God will bring us back together in the future, if we are meant to be. Or who knows, you might find new love, who will not face problems like me. She probably deserves you more than me" Rani spoke in a sad voice with tears trickling slowly.
"Rani, I will never love someone as much as I love you." He replied sadly.
"I love you too. Take care of yourself and your family, Vishal. I hope the doors to the future will lead you to happiness. All the best, Vishal." She told him and kissed his wet cheek once again.
"No, Rani. Please." He began crying. She grabbed her bags and walked over to the door. She took one look at Vishal and walked out of the door, leaving Vishal in tears. He dropped to his knees, clutching the necklace in his hands and cried his heart out.
Rani left.
"Oh my god. Vishal. I am so sorry." Priya said sadly. She had wide eyes and tears in her eyes. She looked at Vishal who had tears in his eyes spilling. He looked at the necklace as he was reminded of the day Rani left him.
Priya's heart was beating so fast. It was one of the most upsetting and tragic stories she has ever heard, that too of a good person like Vishal. She felt so sorry for Vishal. He must have been suffering Rani's leave for three years. It was absolutely heart bleeding to lose someone you love so dearly, just because someone else didn't like your relationship. Vishal was a good man. He had a heart of gold. He was brave, courageous and kind hearted like Prem.
Priya began to wonder if something serious like Vishal and Rani would happen to her and Prem. She loved Prem so much that she couldn't bear to think about losing him. She couldn't let Rita do anything to her. If she loved Prem, she had to try and keep him. Prem loved her and the lucky thing she did was tell him that Rita was trying to destroy their relationship.
Vishal cried. Priya looked at him. She felt her heart beat so much. She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"Hey Vishal. It's okay." She comforted him. He looked up at her. She moved her hand away and he wiped his tears. He took time to calm down. After a few breaths, he was fine.
"I'm sorry for crying in front of you like that." He told her in a normal voice with a chuckle.
"Hey don't be. It's okay to be sad especially when losing a loved one like that. You must have loved Rani so much right?" She told him.
"I did. And I still do love her. She was beautiful, kind, sweet, caring and honest. I was lucky to have her in my life." He said looking out the big window of the office.
"Ahh she must have been a really nice and good person. Do you have a picture of her?" She asked.
"Haan." He said and took out a picture of Rani from his inside pocket of his black blazer.
He handed over the picture to Priya. Priya turned it around and looked at it. She was mesmerized. Rani was indeed beautiful. She had beautiful eyes, a beautiful smile and many more.
"She's indeed beautiful. You were a lucky man and she was a lucky girl to have someone like you." Priya comforted him.
Vishal smiled and said,
"I was lucky. But that Sonia had to ruin it for Rani." He said.
"Rani looks so happy in this picture." Priya said as she gazed at the picture.
"It was when we first got together. Before Sonia got in the picture." He said.
"Ahh. Those times were golden." Priya said and smiled. She handed the picture to Vishal. Vishal looked at the picture and smiled. He kissed the picture and placed it in his pocket.
"Have you heard from Rani since the day she left?" Priya asked.
"No. We never really spoke. I actually did go to her house to see her." He said standing up and looking out the big window.
"What happened?" She asked walking over to his side.
The next day Vishal was still hurt. He couldn't actually accept that Rani left. He still had hope in his heart that they could make things work. He wanted to help Rani and he wanted to keep Rani.
He decided to go to Rani's house and talk. He needed to see her. He drove to her house. He didn't know whether Rani would want to see him because Rani must have been really sad as he was. But he had to do this. He loved Rani and he needed her back.
He walked over to the door of her beautiful house. He knocked on the door and he waited. His heart was beating rapidly. No one opened the door. He knocked again and still no one opened it. He placed his hand on the door knob and found it open.
Why was it open? He wondered. He slowly and cautiously opened the door and walked in. The apartment was empty. Only pindrop silence.
"Rani!" He shouted in hope she would come out. But there was no response.
He looked in the kitchen. He opened the cupboards and found everything empty.
"She couldn't have left." He said.
He walked upstairs and continued calling her name, but still no response.
He walked into her bedroom. Even the room was empty. Only a big plain white bed and an empty white wardrobe.
Vishal felt his heart thumping. In the corner of his eye, he saw a letter. And a razor, a knife and blade. He opened the letter and read it,
My dearest Vishal,
I'm sorry you had to see all this. I really am. I knew you would come back, but I couldn't see you because I feel anxious. It's not your fault, it's me.
I had to leave from this place. This place is filled with too many memories. With good ones of you and me and the bad ones with Sonia and self harming. I need to go my own way. I have to find my own self and find who I truly am. There's something about us that didn't seem right, Vishal. People kept getting in the way. I think distance and time is what I need to get over this.
I didn't want to end things between us like this. I really didn't. But circumstances had to get in the way. I really love you Vishal, I always did and will continuing loving so. Please don't try find me. I need this time, however long it is.
Please take care of yourself. I wish you all the best. I want you to be happy. I only want good for you, Vishal. Even if it means to find another girl. If you find a girl that makes you happy, go for her. I want you to be happy. I'm sure she will treat you right.
I love you Vishal ♡
Yours truly,
Rani
When Vishal finished reading the letter, he looked at the razor, blade and knife. These must have been what Rani used to self harm. He also saw white tissues with red blood on them.
He began crying. He couldn't believe Rani did this. He didn't know what to think. Questions filled his mind.
Where did Rani go? Why did she go? Will she ever come back?
"No way. It couldn't have been." Priya asked shocked.
"That was what happened. I don't know about her whereabouts and never tried looking." Vishal said looking at Priya. He had no tears.
"Have you tried?" Priya asked.
"No. I thought I would give her what she wanted. No one knows what happened to her. But she just exists in my heart as a memory." He told her sadly.
"Three years of not seeing Rani." She said.
"But it feels like forever. Three years doesn't seem alot, but to me it is. Especially because she was the one I loved." He said.
Priya honestly had no words to say. She couldn't have been even more shocked and upset to hear such a story. She now understood how her situation was similar to Rani's. Her heart was thumping at the thoughts of the worse things that could possibly happen to her and Prem.
Priya walked over to Vishal and wrapped her arms around him in a reassuring hug. Vishal was confused and asked,
"What's this for?"
"Just to know that I'm always here for you, as a friend. No matter what." She told him. He hugged her back and then he moved away. She moved too.
"You and Rani are soul mates. You must have been deeply in love with Rani and you were lucky to have each other." Priya said.
"Love is gifted to special people. People with good hearts. People who are kind and you know the rest." Vishal said sitting on his chair. Priya sat on her chair and Vishal told,
"That's what I'm saying. Priya, I know you love Prem so much and he loves you too. I've seen in the hospital how much he loves you and I reminded him that you love him for everything he does for you. Even in the party, I saw how much you both love each other. Rani and I were just like you and Prem. Priya, you wouldn't want Rita to ever take Prem away from you, would you?"
"No not at all. I love Prem so much. I can't bear to even think about being away from him." Priya said.
"Exactly. So please, Priya, don't let Rita affect you. If she does anything, don't keep it bottled up. You have an amazing family and guy that loves you so much. You shouldn't forget that and let that slip away. Breaking love is a hateful thing to do. People try to ruin other people's happiness because they are jealous. But, God and destiny chooses two people who have a compassionate and kind character to be soul mates. Love is only gifted to special people. Like you and Prem." He told.
"You're right. Rita shouldn't get in mine and Prem's way. I love him so much." She said.
"I know. He loves you too. That's why I want to help you defeat Rita. Because I don't want the same thing that happened to me and Rani to happen to you and Prem. Please do talk to people. It's not easy, but you have to." He said.
Priya smiled and nodded. She seemed to be able to trust Vishal now. There are good people by her side. Vishal saved her life twice and she was grateful. She knew Vishal was a good man.
She knew Vishal was right. She couldn't let Rita ruin her happiness. Prem was her happiness. He was her sunshine and rainbow to her bad days. He was the ray of her sunshine. He was always by her side and always kept her safe. He made her feel special and belonged and she couldn't be any grateful. Even with all Priya's flaws, he still wanted her. Prem loved her so much and she loved him.
But Rita wouldn't stop. Rita was destined to make Prem hers. Priya had everyone by her side, but Rita was ruthless and powerful. She had contacts and she knew how to scare people. She knew how to put people's lives in danger. Would she be able to stop Rita or will Rita come and haunt her even more? Will she be able to tell Prem and the others? Find out in the next few chapters of Voh Meri Rajkumari Hai!

A/N
Hey everyone! ❤ How are you all?
I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Votes and comments always make my day. College is starting in a week's time so I thought I might as well give an update before I get too busy.
I hope there is some confusion cleared of Vishal. This chapter took us back to his past. He had a tragic past. He is a good man and I've put him for good reasons so please do not suspect him. The only villain in this story is Rita.
We have a new character called Rani (played by the most beautiful Rani Mukherjee!) who is Vishal's lover from the past! Vishal does not have other plans to get Priya whatsoever, he's here to help and support her because you've read about his past.
This chapter did have mentions of self harm, so I hope no one was affected. If you were affected, please do not read this chapter or speak to me. I will give you warnings before the chapters if there are mentions of self harm or any other tragic disorders.
