Part - 1

During the Episode 103, Keerti screaming at Amma and Pallavi because they aren't letting her go to Sunny.

-------------------

"Dard toh dost purana hain

Saath mein yaadein lata hain

Kuch meethi, kuch mushkil si

Phir main, dard aur yaadein

Mil jaatein mehfil si

Kuch khaas yun samjho

Ke ghar pe aana jaana hain

Dard?

Dard toh dost purana hain"

------------------------------

"Amma! Amma please calm down! Shaant ho jaiye aapki tabiyat bigad jayegi please.."

Pallavi beseeched her furious mother in law, trying desperately to shield Keerti from her hits.

"Isko maar hi dalega aaj main!"

Jaya screamed unheeding of Pallavi's relentless efforts and glared at her errant daughter, completely unhinged with rage.

"Haa maar do mujhe! Khatm kardo! Pagal ho gyi hun aap logo ke saath rehke!"

Keerti screamed like a demented woman provoking Jaya even more much to Pallavi's increasing despair.

"Keerti please! Please baithke baat karte hain please.. maturity ke saath solve karna hain isse.. please.. chot lag jaega kisiko! Amma!"

No one was quite interested in Pallavi's exponentially increasing warnings and pleadings and in a final show of wrath, both mother and daughter blinded in rage and despair pushed Pallavi so hard from between them that she lost her footing and twisted her ankle trying to steady herself and would have almost toppled over on the floor and hit her forehead against the sharp edge of the centre table if not for the sudden arms holding her from the back.

Pallavi rammed painfully against her husband's solid chest and found her wraith like body encased in his long arms sideways as she gasped and panted, half afraid of the anticipated impact from which she got saved and half terrified how the situation will go with Raghav in the picture now.

"Pallavi! Mī iddarikī picci paṭṭindā!!!? Pagal ho gaya hain tum dono?"

Raghav roared like an enraged bison and Pallavi felt her whole body shake at the vibration which passed from his chest into her at the contact.

"Pallavi, sorry sorry baccha.. tum theek hain? Lagi toh nhi?"

Jaya immediately came back to her senses and started apologizing half concerned and half chagrined while Keerti just looked away.

"Haan haan, Amma main theek hun. I am okay, but please.."

Keerti cut her off before she could complete her sentence, now having moved away from Raghav steadying herself.

"I have to go to Sunny. I am leaving. Do whatever you all wish.."

Raghav caught her arm before she could leave, his voice tight with repressed frustration.

"Don't be an idiot Keerti! I met that guy just now. He is a total loser! You can do much better than him. He is not..he is not a good man."

Keerti reflexively snatched her arm back sharply and gave a laugh which was so plastic that it made Pallavi cringe internally.

"Yes Bhai! Aapko toh lagega hi naa. Aapki tarah blood money toh nhi hain na uski. Aapki tarah gundagardi nhi kar sakta.. isliye loser hain. You know what? if I go by your standards of good phir toh mujhe criminals aur psychopaths se pyaar karna padega."

Raghav flinched physically at the sheer venom in her words. This time his words were oddly timid and Pallavi knew why. He had scrapped himself hollow tonight, narrating his tale to her has reopened the hastily sewed in messy stitches on his wound. This was cutting it too close. At the end, for all his bluster, her husband was human after all.

How much can one man take?

"Keerti ye tum kya bol raha hain. Accha mera nhi toh Amma ka sunlo.. Pallavi ka sunlo.. woh toh best friend hain na tera. Sunny theek nhi hain..main.."

Keerti suddenly pounced on her brother like a rabid animal, clutching his collars with her hands tightly making Raghav almost paralyzed with shock while Pallavi and Jaya gasped in horror.

"You listen to me Raghav Rao! And listen to me very carefully! If you go near Sunny after this, if he gets a single scratch then I will kill you! Mark my words! I will end you if you even think of hurting him. You selfish bastard! You aren't happy so you wont let any of us be happy! I curse you! I curse the day I was born as your sister! I wish.. I wish "

Jaya literally dragged Keerti off her son's collar while Raghav staggered back, his face turning a deathly shade of white. Pallavi caught his arm fearfully, thinking for a moment that he will faint. But then his expression changed completely. It was like an iron mask came rapidly up his face and slammed back to cover his exposed expression perfectly.

"Amma let her go."

"Ye kya bol raha hain Raghav?"

"I said let her go. Jaane do usse uska Sunny ke paas.. mat roko. Keerti adult hain.. hum usko uska marzi ke bagair nhi rok sakta."

"Par.."

"Amma please, let her go."

Jaya left Keerti's arm still unconvinced and Pallavi struggled furiously to restrain herself from jumping in between the situation again. Keerti glared at Raghav, took her suitcase and stormed away leaving the rest of them behind standing over the phantom echoes of a carnage.

Jaya turned and gave Raghav the most disappointed look Pallavi has ever seen a mother giving her child.

"Mujhe terese ye ummeed nhi tha Raghav. Jaane diya apna behen ko khai mein kud ne ko? I don't know why do you even try. Now if something happens to Keerti, who will take the blame? You? Mujhe yahan aana hi nhi chahiye tha! Sab theek chal raha tha.. the moment you came into the picture.. typical."

Pallavi gawked at her mother in law, thunderstruck at her words. She was still trying to wrap her brain around Jaya's logic when she saw Raghav give his mother an agonizingly heart broken look as she turned her gave away cruelly and trudged up towards her room looking exhausted. Spent after dumping her portion of guilt and agony on her son's shoulders.

Raghav looked listlessly at her then as if waiting for her to stab him with the stuck knife in his chest, too, like the rest. Awaiting another slew of poisonous words to complete the set probably while Pallavi looked back at him, tears rolling down her eyes, struggling to unhear Keerti's vicious declarations.

Her husband sighed brokenly and called Farhad from his mobile, after having to have to clear his throat thrice before it even sounded remotely humane let alone clear.

"Keerti ka piche apna aadmi lagake rakho. Mujhe uss Sunny Ahuja ka har ghante ka update hona..theek hain?"

He couldn't even gather the strength to end his sentence with his usual usp, 'Artham Aiynda' and Pallavi had no idea why a pain so potent shot through her chest at that. It seemed the wounds inflicted on him today was pulsating so scathingly on his body that she could even feel the phantom ache in her own frame which radiated off him.

Raghav turned presumably to go to his room but couldn't manage to cover the distance and flopped on the couch instead. He leaned back and rested his head upwards closing his eyes unknowingly mirroring her own position from a few minutes back.

"Jaake so jao Pallavi... bohot late ho gaya hain.."

He whispered to her thickly. She wanted so much to run to her room and cower under the warmth of her blanket, fall asleep and forget whatever happened tonight. Anything to escape this teeth chattering pain which she couldn't un-feel, couldn't ignore, couldn't stay away from. But she couldn't. Her feet refused to move in the direction she wanted it to go.

So she went and sat beside Raghav copying his position and waited.

Waited till he allowed his tears to silently roll down his cheeks.

Waited for the sobs which never left his mouth for he was too tired to even cry properly.

Waited till she felt him shift unconsciously closer to her, as if like a frightened wild animal.

And the she wrapped him in her arms and dragged him to her chest and waited till he wetted her entire bosom with his tears, waited till his agony, his grief got permanently tattooed over her heart, waited till he fell asleep in that position and she could kiss a thousand apologies on the dried tear tracks over his lax face.

Apologies for the pain she couldn't save him from.
