This song... very well known for being gross. I myself thought that there was nothing to the song except... Oliver eating spiders.

But, I listened to it again yesturday and now I have an entire theory for it.

It could be about drug misusage.

The thing is, the tarantula could be the pill, as the feeling of pleasure soon turns to pain when he realises that this sort of thing is bad for him, but its already to late.

The tingling sensation he feels is probably the effect of the pill, maybe because of something inside it.

The drug is harming his body in ways that probably leave him temporarily paralized.

The terms "Imagination, misconception, fabrication, self-deception could mean he had hallucinations after taking the drug.

Dissolution, indigestion, suppuration, decomposition could mean that that's what was happening while the pill was going into his system.

 Towards the end of the song, he takes another pill and it makes him feel good or something. But, the effects are starting to happen and his vison gets blurred.

He finally manages to swallow the pill properly, but he is slowly dieing. He can't think anymore, he feels nauseous.
