Alice Human Sacrifice (Hitobashira Arisu) is a famous Vocaloid horror song. Apparently, it was based on a 'true story', but its been proven to be just a story.

But, the story behind it is this:

There was a series of killings in Japan that happened some time ago. The first record of it was to Sasaki Megumi. She was a 29 year old restaurant owner. The people that knew her described her as a headstrong woman with a short temper and sharp tongue when dealing with employees. Megumi was a very social person and went to parties often. She was only a block away from her house, and decided to walk there, because she was too drunk to drive. After a party, she went missing. The next morning, a young couple found her body in a forest a mile away from Megumi's house. Her body was torn apart and some limbs were impaled on some tree branches. They called the police, who saw that there was vomit, but the woman admitted that the vomit was hers. A jack of spades card was crammed into Megumi's mouth, with the words 'Alice' written on it.

Yamane Akio was the second victim, and is a barely known singer whose band preformed in bars. He was described by his friends as a kind-hearted man who never yelled at anyone off-stage. Akio was taken from his apartment, his band members being the last ones who saw him alive. That night, his girlfriend came to visit him and was surprised to find that the house was empty. In the security videos, there was a hooded figure who was carrying a strange bag that bulged weirdly. This wasn't accounted for, but it is believed that the hooded figure is the killer. Later that week, at the bar that they preformed in often, the owner found Akio's body slumped at a table with his vocal chords ripped out. in his hands was the King of Diamonds card with the word 'Alice' on it.

Kai Sakura was a teenaged girl who had her life ahead of her. She was sweet and her classmates enjoyed having her with them. She wanted to go to collage to become a fashion designer and she had a week left until she graduated from high school when she was abducted. She was found two days later buried in a shallow grave. On a stick, a Queen of Clubs was stuck onto it. Her body was horribly mutilated. Her eyes were carved from the sockets, her skin was flayed and her mouth was carved open. A note was also found, written with messy handwriting. The phases that were made out were 'Death is a distorted dream.' 'She will forever rules.' 'Ha! Ha! Those who die are the lucky ones.' There were other phrases written. A match to the handwriting was never found.

Oshiro Hayato and Hina were last of the killings and were the least gruesome. They were both siblings, who rarely fought. Hina was the eldest, and was described to be very stubborn. Hayato was her younger brother, who was very intelligent and skipped a grade which made him in the same class as his sister. The two were found dead in their beds. They were killed from a lethal injection, and it was deducted that the killer had snuck in without waking them and then snuck out after killing them. They both held half an Ace of Hearts card, and when joined together, the word 'Alice' was written out. Their mother committed suicide from grief, and their father is under therapy and is heavily depressed and medicated.

A producer on NND (NicoNicoDouga, for those who don't know. Its where most Vocaloid songs are posted and other videos.) posted a song called Hitobashira Arisu (Alice Human Sacrifice). Meiko represented Megumi, Kaito represented Akio, Miku represented Sakura and the Kagamine twins represented Hayato and Hina.
