A/N: I am very aware that there is hetaoni music, but its cute and cheerful, and it would be nice to listen to while reading this :3

Kaito was returning from an errand to the shops while Meiko, his roomate, was having a hangover... again.

So, he was walking down the street when soemthing caught his eyes.

He turned to see what it was and saw a cute little girl with long, teal hair. She looked at him with pleading puppy eyes.

He stared back.

'Must... Resist... Cuteness...!'

He kept staring at the small child, who looked about six years old.

He said quietly "Those eyes don't work on me..."

"Meiko, I'm home!!!"

A slurred "Yeah, okay!" Was his reply.

Kaito put away the stuff and went to his room.

The house was quite large. It had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They used the other 2 rooms as guest rooms when friends visit.

He walked up the stairs and went to his room, which was blue. He closed the door and locked it behind him, placing the child, that was wrapped in his muffler, down onto his bed. He unwrapped the child and let her sit up on his bed.

The girl looked around, slightly amused.

"So..." Kaito started off awkwardly "What's your name?"

"Hmm..."

The small child thought for a while and then said "Hatsune Miku~!"

Kaito stared at her for a while.

Soon, Miku found herself being glomped by the older man.

"Oh my God, your so cuuute~!"

After a little while, Kaito let go of the now suffocating girl.

"Okay. My name is Kaito Shion."

"Hello Mr. Shion."

"Come with me."

Kaito grabbed the small hand of Miku and went to Meiko's room.

The room smelt of sake and the room was mostly red.

"Meiko?"

"What is it?"

"Umm... There is someone I would like you to meet."

"Your girlfriend?"

"I don't even have a girlfriend..."

"Huh... Your loss."

"Anyways..." Kaito said in annoyance. "I'll just get to the point."

He beckoned for Miku to come out from behind his legs.

"This is Miku."

"Your girlfriend?"

"Why do you keep saying that?!? Do you think I am a pedophile?"

"... Maybe?"

Kaito facepalmed. Miku looked at them in confusion and decided to go up to Meiko and poke her forehead.

"I found her all alone on the streets."

Meiko stared at her for a little while.

Miku soon found herself glomped... Again.

"So cuuuute~!"

"Uh... Can we keep her?" Kaito said, trying to get to the point.

"Sure."

"Sokawaii~" Meiko whispered, not letting go of Miku.

"Can you let go of me please?" Miku said, slightly scared.

Meiko let go of her.

"Kaito, where will she sleep?"

"Hmm... Maybe one the guest rooms."

"Okay. We have too many spare rooms anyways."

"Looks like I have to go to the shops... again."

"I guess I have to look after Miku then."

Kaito went out, and there was silence.

"So... Do ya want something to eat?"

"Uhh... Yes please."

They both went down to the kitchen. Meiko helped Miku up onto a chair.

"What would you like?"

"I am not sure..."

"Would you like leek soup? It warm, filling and very tasty."

"Yes please."

Meiko went to work and made the leek soup. She gave it to the small girl, who ate it gratefully.

"This is so yummy!"

"Thanks Miku~"

After Miku ate, they just watched TV and talked. When Kaito got home, he had some new clothes for Miku to wear and a teal colored duna with music patterns on it.

Miku loved what Kaito brought for her.

That night, Kaito tucked Miku into bed.

"Goodnight Miku."

"Goodnight, Kaito-nii~."

He tried to refrain from smiling too widely, but he did. He was happy that  Miku looked up to him.

He kissed her forehead, like a parent would do, and went to his room to sleep.

A/N: I forgot to put this in ^.^' Anyways, i dont know whether this story is on a good start or something :| Anyways, tomorrow, i get to see the giant girl and diver tomorrow :D They are only coming to Perth XD anyways, I'll get google images of them and youtube videos in the next chapter. My dad saw the giant girl yesturday and he is taking me, my sisters, and mum to see both the diver (who is coming today) and the girl. i am excited >w<
