i took a long inhale when my phone began to buzz. his number flashed onto the screen. i could feel my heart begin to thump out of my chest as anxiety rushed though my veins.

hesitantly, i answered. "hello?"

"hi-" he began to say at the same time as me, but he cut himself off with a laugh.

"ahh i'm sorry!" i apologized lightly, giggling as well.

"it's okay, wow your accent IS strong jae." he commented.

"true true, i could say the same about you too christopher." i spoke mockingly, "but your's is quite hot if i do say so myself."

his voice went about a octave deeper, "well who said yours wasn't hot?"

"WHEW okay YOU WIN." i choked out.

"mm i usually do." chris smiled contently, leaning back in his chair. "so how was your day? what time is it there?"

"it's about 10 pm. my day was alright, i'm tired~" i whined, shifting my position in bed to lay on my side. i put my phone on speaker and sat it beside me. "how's work?"

he let out a light laugh, "it's work. i'm about as tired as ever but it's all gonna be worth it."

"i am SO excited for this comeback."

"trust me, me too. i think you guys are gonna really enjoy it."

"that just makes me even more excited." i chuckled, playing with the charm on my bracelet.

"i'm glad babygirl." he hummed.

my eyes widened when i realized what he had just said. i stood up and grabbed my phone, walking out into the kitchen. "chris one of these days you're gonna kill me."

"aww is someone flustered?" the man smiled proudly.

with the most serious voice i could muster, i spoke three words, "bite me, daddy."

"AH okay okay you win!" he laughed, now flustered as well.

"mm i usually do." i hummed, mocking his words before.

"hm i see how it is." chris pouted. "hey jae? i don't wanna cut this short because i really enjoy talking to you, but unfortunately i have to get back to work."

"it's okay. i need to order some food and take some tylenol anyways." i reassured him.

"tylenol?" he questioned, "what for?"

"cramps~" i whined lightly.

"oh no~ i'm sorry." he pouted once again.

"it's okay, i'm just gonna order sushi and relax." i giggled.

he giggled back to me, "hmm you do that. i'll talk to you soon?"
