" From this lonesome garden

Want to give you a flower

Reminding me of you

To give you all and take this foolish mask off... "

- The Truth Untold by BTS

- Keni's POV

"Jisung, we need to talk-" I spoke up after walking inside my Vampire's shared room. But I was cut off by Dakyung's shriek.

"YAH! LEE KENI! WHAT IN VLADIMIR!" Dakyung shouted as he threw a shoe at me but I stepped to the side and it flew outside the room into the hallway of the boys' dormitory.

Then I looked back at Dakyung and saw that he was wrapped in just a white towel. I raised my left eyebrow and told him, "Be glad that I'm not Maia." Then Dakyung blushed and grunted in irritation at my choice of words. I smiled in triumph, but frowned when I locked eyes with Jisung.

"You said you wanted to talk?" Jisung asked as he got off of his bed and walked over to me.

I looked at him, like really looked at him and felt... nothing. I didn't feel that weird feeling that I had when I was with Soobin earlier. But then again, it must have been from my experience being in two different realms in just a short time... or, maybe not.

"Uh, yeah, is it okay? I mean, are you free right now?" I asked when Sangmin walked out of the bathroom with a bathrobe and damp hair.

He greeted and waved at me unlike how Dakyung did with his shoe. I greeted back and looked over at Jisung who answered, "You know that I'm always free if it's you, Keni." Then he looked over at his best friends. "Do you guys mind?"

("I can't believe Jisung wants us to change out here," Dakyung muttered under his breath as he and Sangmin quickly changed into some of their clothes out in the hallway of the boys' dormitory.)

"So what did you want to talk about?" Jisung asked as he sat back down on his bed, but this time it was on the edge. "Did something happen?"

I took a deep breath in and looked at him seriously before asking, "Did you do something to Soobin recently?"

Suddenly, Jisung went pale and his reaction caught me a little off guard for a bit, but he regained his composure and replied back, "What do you mean? Where did you hear this from?"

"Jisung, I can tell when you're lying. So please just tell me honestly... Did you manipulate Soobin's mind? Or, did you get into his head and used his fear against him as a threat?"

The atmosphere in the room drastically changed when Jisung's eye color changed. I nervously gulped and took a step away from him and the bed. Then Jisung stood up, his light brown eyes were a dark purple and it sent shivers down my spine as I raised my right hand while telling him to calm down. But my actions and words didn't help. It somehow made things worse.

"Looks like he finally told you, huh?" Jisung spoke up and what he said sent shockwaves through my body.

"So it's true?" I whispered in shock. "Why... Why would you do that, Jisung?"

Jisung clenched his fists and shook his head before answering. "Because he was stealing you... He was stealing you away from me."

Memories of Jisung and I spending time together for the last week entered my head. Then the blurred memories with Soobin returned as well, but this time they weren't blurred. The two memories with different faces merged into one and then I saw the real memory. I saw Park Soobin and I meeting in the library. I saw him standing too close to my face and suddenly hearing Haruto's teasing. I saw him sitting beside me in the greenhouse, the two of us talking about Yeji and what she was like to everyone. I saw Soobin from across the Dining Hall looking at me with his golden red eyes. I suddenly felt his cold touch on my skin and that familiar weird feeling. The Soulmate Connection.

"I remember everything now..." I muttered under my breath as my headache disappeared. Then I looked at Jisung with so much anger and disappointment. "You have no right to take my memories away, Jisung! How could you?! Didn't I warn you before that if you ever manipulated my mind-" But I was caught off when Jisung pushed me up against a wall.

"That you'd leave me? You'd leave Sungkyung noona and our parents?" He cuts in with a smirk on his beautiful face. "I doubt that you can do that, my dear."

I glared at my Vampire and shook my head. "Not just that. I will quit being your Guardian if you keep this up." Then Jisung's eyes returned back to its original eye color and the smirk on his lips was exchanged with a frown.

"You... You w-wouldn't..." He whispered with a broken voice.

I felt my heart ache in pain as I watched my childhood best friend take a step away from me and fall down to his knees.

Then I kneeled in front of him and placed my right hand on his left cheek. "Jisung... I'm sorry if I can't return back your feelings..." I exclaimed as gently as I could.

But Oh Jisung ignored me.

"Just leave then," He whispered with his eyes shut. "Go back to him. I... I don't c-care anymore."

I sighed and kissed his forehead before standing back up, but before I could leave the room, I felt Jisung's hand grab mine. I looked back at him and saw him crying on the wooden floor. Then he spoke up, "I will still love you on the sidelines. Even if you won't love me back or hate me for what I did to you and Soobin. But, please... Stay as my Guardian. Stay as my friend."

"Jisung, again... I am truly sorry. But please don't love me for the rest of your life. You'll meet the one for you and I bet she'll be better than me."

Then I left the room but before I could close the door behind me, I heard Jisung clearly say...

"...She will never be better than Lee Keni."

- 3rd POV

Jisung entered an abandoned classroom and the first he did, he grabbed a random wooden chair and threw it at a wall. The next thing that he knows is that he had broken each and every one of the chairs and desks in the room. The 19-year-old Vampire screamed in frustration and pain as he grabbed onto his hair. Then the tears came flooding down his cheeks.

"I'm guessing that she remembers now?" A voice from behind him spoke up.

Jisung turned around and saw Vivien Kang walking over to where he was. Then she stopped a few feet away from him and added, "You look like you've been slapped so hard with reality."

"What do you want from me, new girl?" Jisung spatted with so much venom.

Then Vivien smirked and answered, "Oh, I don't want anything from you. But I want to give you something."

"And what's that?" He asked, getting suspicious of the other Vampire.

The tall, female vampire giggled. "Her heart, of course."

- Keni's POV

I bit my bottom lip after leaving the room and avoiding Dakyung and Sangmin's eyes as I walked down the hallway back to the stairs. It was already late in the afternoon when I decided to go to the greenhouse. But when I walked up to the second floor, I was surprised to see a laughing Bora and smiling Jaehyuck. I grinned at the two happy that Bora is finally opening up to others and that Jaehyuck can be nice to other people aside from Hyosung.

"Oh! Hey, Keni!" Bora greeted me when she saw me walking over to her and Jaehyuck.

The older Guardian had stopped smiling and faked a cough before nodding his head at me. I chuckled at the two and smiled. Then I asked, "What are you two doing here by the way?"

"I was asked by Professor Huang to gather some flowers and make a bouquet for his wife who will be visiting him later tonight for their anniversary," Bora answered while showing an unfinished bouquet. Then I looked over at Jaehyuck who right away said, "I'm just helping Bora."

I bit my bottom lip from laughing out loud which made Jaehyuck glare at me, totally annoyed. Then Bora spoke up, "Oh! Before I forget, Keni, I've been meaning to talk to you after the sleepover."

I looked at her in confusion and asked. "What about, Bora?"

"I thought I was the only one who noticed how suspicious Vivien was," Bora spoke up then she looked over at Jaehyuck who was continuing to finish the bouquet. "But Jaehyuck sunbae noticed it, too."

I bit on the edge of my thumb's nail and asked, "Since when did you notice?"

"Since her first day with us back in the cafeteria," Bora answered while rubbing her cheeks.

I started to remember the way Vivien had answered our questions about her back on her first day. I remembered the times we'd both see each other out in the hallway and how at first she'd give me a glare but changed it right away if my friends would show up. I usually wouldn't assume that the glare was a bad thing, but now that I remember how she had acted back at the sleepover and the face that I saw. Another shiver similar to the one that I got with Jisung earlier, ran down my spine.

Then I said, "Bora, I think Vivien isn't who we all think she is said to be."

"Are you two talking about my supposed-to-be cousin?" Jaehyuck asked as he walked over to us with the now finished bouquet.

I gave him a weird look while asking, "Supposed-to-be cousin?"

"Ah, yeah... We share the same family name, but as far as I know there is no one in my family whose name is Vivien and none of my relatives died in a fire accident," Jaehyuck answered while handing the bouquet to Bora who smiled at the finished work.

Then Jaehyuck added in, "Also, she's a Vampire. I'm a Guardian. Everyone in my family follows the Law. So in other words, I've got no family members who are of Rare Blood or related to a Vampire. Whoever this Vivien is must be lying about her background."

"That's... a lot of information, Jaehyuck," I told him. Then I asked, "Why are you telling me this again? I mean, I know that you're um friends with Bora and that Bora is currently hanging out with my group during break time... But you? Why are you helping all of a sudden?"

The 20-year-old Guardian sighed. "Because I'm doing this for Soobin. I saw how the New Girl would look at him and I honestly don't like it. She feels... dangerous."

"Don't we have to tell Headmistress Lee about this?" Bora suddenly asked.

Jaehyuck and I looked at her and shook out heads at the same time. Then he replied, "For now, we don't even have proof or anything to back us up. So it's not a good idea to tell your mother about it-"

"Wait... Mother?!" I hollered in shock.

Bora nervously laughed and punched Jaehyuck's right arm, making the older boy groan in pain. Then she said, "Looks like you know now... my secret."

"Uh-huh, damn... Well, I mean, I don't gossip or anything," I said while scratching the back of my neck.

"I know." Bora softly laughed. Then she sighed and looked at the bouquet of flowers. "If we're not telling my mother about it now... Then we should find a way to trap Vivien and get whatever proof we need right away."

"How about we meet up again later tonight at the library?" I suggested with a smile.

"Ooh! Like Scooby-doo and his gang?" Bora asked, sounding excited.

I chuckled while Jaehyuck asked, "What's a Scooby-doo?"
