*Biz's pov*

"C-Captain! I....I can explain this..." Chiz stuttered.

"Well then, spill the beans you thrice blasted idiot! You soulless-" Ninja shouted before I cut her off.

"It's very simple, Captain." Chiz replied, leaving a pause for effect, "I stole it from the Author's Realm."

I stole it from the Author's Realm.

Those words hit me like arrow to my heart. How could Chiz do such a thing!?

I stared at my assistant across the hallway, the stolen crystal in her hand. Her eyes shone with mystery-of a feeling I've never known. Could it be revenge? Regret? Anger? Hate? I'm not sure.

She is normally a nervous, loyal, sometimes accident-prone type person. But as I stare at her right now, I see nothing usual in her expression. A brave, disloyal, angry expression is in it's place.

Why oh why of all people did it have to happen to her? Could it be? Could this be her fate? Once so close and now an enemy? What could have caused this hate? Her expression shows the hate burning inside. If I step closer, try to understand, I will most certainly be denied.

What caused such feelings to possess her? Or was she like this all along? If it must come down to this, I must not be afraid. The past is the past. The lines between us grow thicker more.

"Chiz, how could you!?" I shouted.

"I-I-I didn't do anything, Captain." a small, insecure voice muttered.

I turned to my right and saw.....Chiz? I looked up again, and the figure was gone.

I grabbed Chiz by the collar of her shirt and dragged her back into our room. Havoc was about to be wrecked.
