*Ninja's pov..*

When did Gail get so much power!? She's almost invincible!

Or am I getting weaker.......

The longer my 'tama is missing, the more my strength disappears. If this keeps up, this world will fall apart! So much responsibility on just one teen! It's driving me insane!

"Oh s***! She has your katanas!" Oddles said suddenly.

"WHAT!?" I shouted. I looked closer to see that she actually did have my katanas.

"She's going to pay dearly for all this." I muttered under my breath as I took a shadow sword from a fallen enemy and stabbed another one in the gut. Now I had two swords and made my approach. They weren't my katanas, but it was close enough.

Gail wasn't even looking in my direction. She was fighting a poor helpless Celestial crew member. She suddenly smiled, knowing that I was there.

"Took you long enough, you little pest!" Gail said, directing the words at me.

"You need to stop! Millions of people will die because of you!" I shouted.

"Me? You're blaming this on me!?" Gail replied, pretending to be wounded by my words, "No, no, no. The real culprit here..." The katana in her hand made it's way past her opponent's defenses and sliced into his midsection. The poor fighter fell helplessly to the ground. She turned towards me and finished her sentence, "is you."

I charged forward with my swords in hand. Gail was so quick to put up an offensive that I barely had enough time to put up a defensive! Our blades collided with a loud metallic ring that spread throughout the entire room. We met each others attacks, both forehand and backhand.

"You don't choose the 'tama, the 'tama chooses you." I grunted under my breath as her blades forcefully pushed against mine.

"It chose wrong." Gail replied, "Did you ever think that the 'tama was meant for someone else, but you stole it from them?"

I tried to meet her with a backhand attack, but she caught it an inch away from her side. I went around for a forehand attack, but she caught that too. Her swords pushed against mine so hard that I almost lost them! Her leg snaked around mine and before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my side. I fell to the floor and my swords flew far from my reach.

"This rebellious nonsense ends now!" Gail shouted, but dipped her voice down a little as she continued to speak, "I tried to get you see the error in your ways. I tried to right the wrongs you made. I tried to set things right, but the only wrong I see here is laying right in front of me."

I tried to stand, but I couldn't. I could barely move. I cod barely breathe. The blade aimed for my neck, but fell to the ground before it could reach. I looked up to see Starry with her star weapon in hand and a wounded Gail collapsed on the floor. A sparkle caught my eye and I reached up to grab it. My 'tama was back in my possession.

Well, I tried something new for this final battle. Hope you like it! The next chapter shall be coming shortly.....with a new twist.
