*Biz's pov....*

*Sigh* Just another day......Another day means another problem could arise! Another problem means another thrilling adventure. The adventures never cease.

"It must be around here somewhere..." a voice mutters from around the corner.

"Huh? I wonder who said that?" I whisper to myself.

I peek around the corner to find a human girl with long brownish blonde hair tied back in a low ponytail. She was wearing a pink shirt with orange stars on it and black capri leggings. Her tennis shoes where also pink. What would she be doing here?

"Stop right there!" I shout, grabbing my blaster from my pocket.

The girl jumps and, by instinct, puts her hands up. She slowly turns around. I can now see that her face. She has shimmering blue eyes inside of red ovalish squarish shaped glasses. As I stare closer, I can see that I slowly begin to recognize her.

"Ninja?" I asked.

"Yes. Could you please put the blaster down?" Ninja said hesitantly.

"Oh, right." I muttered, putting my blaster back in my pocket, "So, what are you doing here, Ninja? You aren't here unless it's something important."
"Last night, my magatama was stolen." Ninja said.

"Maga-what?" I asked.

"Magatama. Or 'tama for short. It is the key between our worlds. My special 'tama works only for this world. Without it, I could lose my power as the Author. In the wrong hands, it could destroy your world." Ninja explained.

"Do you-" I was cut off.

"No, we don't know who stole it, if that is what you were asking. My first instinct was to come straight here and look for it." Ninja replied.

"How did you-" I was cut off again.

"Finish your sentence? I'm the Author, aren't I? I write your densities, remember?" Ninja said, "I know you really well, Biz. I'd say we've got a lot in common."

"Yeah. I believe so." I replied, "So, why are you not wearing your normal ninja suit?"

"My gi? I didn't want to draw too much attention to myself, so I decided to look more normal" Ninja answered.

"I'll ask around and see if anyone has seen the crystal. In the meantime, I should tell Chiz to keep an eye out for it too." I said.

The two of us headed back to my room in hopes of finding Chiz there, waiting for orders as usual. Sure enough, I was right.

"Chiz?" I called.

Chiz's back went straight and she held her hand up in a salute. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, Captain?" Chiz asked.

"If you find a stolen crystal anywhere or with anyone, tell me immediately." I said.

"A crystal?" Chiz asked.

"It is the Author's key to both our worlds." I said, signaling the Author's presence, "What was it called again?"

"A magatama, 'tama for short. And yes, Biz is right. Without it, I will lose the powers of the Author. And if it falls into the wrong hands, this world could fall apart." Ninja explained.

"Thanks Ninja." I said, "Got that, Chiz?"

"Yes, Captain. I will keep both eyes out for the missing crystal." Chiz replied.

I smiled. I knew I could count on her.

Well, well, well! The search is on! Don't worry, we will soon have suspects. And I will try not to spoil it or make it easy this time. This time, it is going to be different.....
