*Phyllis's pov...*

"Has anything out of the ordinary occurred recently?" My boss asked.

It was really strange because usually she visits in person, but this time, she was just a hologram. They come by for a report once a month. But this is her second visit this month! Did I do something wrong?

"Umm, I don't think so. I mean, 3 characters showed up not too long ago that didn't fit into any district..." I mumbled.

"Who? Who was it?" my boss asked.

"Biz, Chiz, and Jiz........I think." I muttered.

"They shouldn't be there. Get them out." My boss said.

"B-But there is no way! And-And even if there was, you said never to use it!" I stuttered.

"Phyllis! I'm trying to get my 'tama back from Gail right now and I don't have time for arguing." My boss said, almost shouting.

"But-"

"Get it done!" my boss said before the hologram faded.

"Who......was that?" Biz asked, nearly out of breath from running. The other two appeared from behind.

"That was my boss, Ninja." I said.

"We know Ninja. We were helping her get her 'tama back from Gail who had someone steal it for her." Chiz replied.

"Gail used the 'tama to send us here in order to get us out of the way. Who knows what she's done with Ninja by now." Jiz added.

I hesitated for a moment. Everything seemed to make sense, but right now things are so confusing! *Sigh*

"Follow me please. I can get you out." I said.

As I led the way towards a locked, bolted, sealed iron door, Chiz asked a question.

"Pardon me for asking, but how did you become a ghost?" Chiz asked. Biz smacked her arm for this. Chiz mumbled an apology.

"I was doing my daily routine check in the Enemy District where all the enemies reside. There are always iron bars or something to keep them from escaping. Somehow, one of them got my keys and they all escaped. They locked the door so I couldn't escape and they tortured me to death. Ninja had to show up and fix things. She made me a ghost so I couldn't get hurt again. So.....yeah. Now I'm a ghost." I explained.

"I'm sorry I asked. It must have been horrible." Chiz replied.

"Yes. I was on the verge if death when Ninja arrived. I died right before her eyes. The tortures were slow and painful, yet it brought pleasure to them. I felt as if no one cared what happened to me.....until Ninja showed up." Phyllis added.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that Phyllis. Me and Chiz have gone through similar things too. Except without death." Biz responded.

"Life has terrible moments, but sometimes they define who we are." Jiz said.

I smiled at their remarks. Maybe I do have good friends after all.

"Alright. Just head through here and you should be back to where you were before." I said.

"Are you sure this will work?" asked Biz, "because it kinda looks like a trap."

"Don't worry. It's a portal. It will take you back." I replied, "You're just going to have to trust me."

"Alright. I guess we will see you around?" Chiz said shyly.

"Well, until we meet again Phyllis." Biz said.

I was about to shake hands when she pulled me into a hug. We stayed like this for a moment until the 3 of them turned to leave through the portal. I bolted, sealed, and locked the door behind them.
