Jiz's pov.....

Darkness. Yep! Darkness, Cold, and Iron Bars. Oh, it's nothing really! It's just.....MY WORST NIGHTMARE COME TRUE!

"How did I fail!? I shouldn't have fallen in love! Not with her anyway! And now the war of the century has begun and it is all my fault!" I said.

For the first time in a long time, I actually felt like crying.

"What ya doing here, sonny?" An old man's voice echoed.

"It's nothing." I muttered.

"You are a spy for the Sentinals, but you got caught. To add on top of that, you fell in love with a girl." The old man said.

"What!? How did you know!?" I asked.
He looked old and wrinkly. He had a long, dirty white beard and he was in chains fastened to the wall. All he could do was sit against the wall.

The old man replied, "Don't underestimate me, sonny! I read minds, you know."

"You know about me, but I don't know about you. How did you get down here?" I asked.

"It started a long time ago when I was a youngling about you're age." the old man said, "There was a giant war between us Sentinals and Vizion. The battle ran on for a long time! Them Vizion people decided to board our ship! I ran to find a safe place, but I ran into the leader of them all....Viz."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Don't interrupt me, sonny!" the old man said, "I grabbed my blaster out and we dueled. I was one of the best shots in the fleet, so I had no problem beating him. The only problem was: he was a good shot too! Eventually, he hit me down. I figured he would just shoot me dead! He had the blaster to my head too! Yet, something made him change his mind. He spared my life, and I became a prisoner instead. The Sentinal ship was destroyed and the crew scattered across the galaxy. The Sentinals no longer existed. Until they rose back up of course!"

"And how long were you down here?" I asked.

"30 years, sonny!" the old man replied, "30 years......"

Wow. 30 years ago, a battle like this happened. I just repeated history 30 years later.....

They say that you can't repeat the past, but it looks like I just did.

Light, quiet footsteps echoed as a figure came closer. Some guard on patrol I'm sure. But these didn't sound like guard's footsteps. These footsteps sounded like a woman.

"Jiz?" she asked in a whisper.

"Why hello darling!" the old man said.

"You're not Jiz. Sorry. Wrong cell." she replied, about to walk to the next cell.

"Wait." I said, "I'm in here too."

I got up and walked closer to the bars. A pair of beautiful eyes stared back at me with a hint of curiosity and mystery.

"Look, I don't know what you were thinking back there, but maybe people deserve a chance, you know?" she said.

"No. I mean, yes I know what you mean, but no. I'm a spy-an enemy. I don't deserve another chance." I answered.

She placed her hand on mine gently. A little smile formed at her lips.

"Tomorrow." she said, "Tomorrow, I will hear what you wanted to say. Right now, I.......I have to go!"

She slipped her hand away and ran swiftly and silently away.

"Tomorrow it is." I said, my eyes still looking in that direction.

"That darling is sweet, isn't she sonny?" The old man asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"I'm also seeing another crueler side of her too. Is she always like that, sonny?" the old man asked.

"Not always." I replied.

We were silent for a moment, until the old man broke the silence.

"How did you fall for a girl like her?" he asked.

I figured you guys needed a laugh, so I added in this old man. I bet you can picture a funny old man voice to use for him. XD

I don't know why, but I decided to add this:
