"Is she okay?" N asks for the hundredth time, trying to push his way past Leo. The other boy holds him back.

"She's fine," Leo reassures, "She hasn't woken up yet, but her heart rate is steady, as is her breathing."

"Maybe I should just, check on her, for a few seconds," N suggests.

"No," Leo scolds, "You know why that can't happen. She has too much 'magic' in her body than she has been trained to handle. First that demon woman making May drink her blood throws off the balance between her angelic blood and demon blood, then I invoked the power of her name. Right now, it's an internal battle between the two."

"I know, maybe I could help..."

"No, N.O.," Leo sighs, "The connection that you two have is magic. If that's what she's struggling with, then having you there might make it worse, despite you being her mate. And your instincts are still telling your to punish your mate because of what she did in her demon form, correct?" N nods and Leo continues, "Until those die down a bit, you can't be near her."

Ken comes up behind N and swings his arm over his shoulder, "Don't worry, it's only been sixteen hours. I've slept for longer than that."

"Yeah, but you haven't been under the influence of magic when you did, you were under the influence of lack of blood."

"By technicality, that is magic," Ken smiles and nudges N playfully, "Come on, I want to go out to eat."

"Drag Ravi to go with you, I'm staying here until she wakes up."

*N, just go.*

*Ken is terrified she won't wake up and he wants to spend time with you and I because he wants reassurance that everything will be okay. You and I are the leaders, the eldest. All of them look up to us, if we have mental breakdowns, then they'll fall apart. I've called someone to come look after her so we can all go out.*

*Sunggyu and Myung-soo. Not the rest of them though, I know you barely trust those two.*

*You're right.*

*N, come on. It'll barely be two hours.*

Behind him a hand rests on N's shoulder.

"Don't worry, we'll take care of her," Myung-soo says.

"Our manager is number 2 on the house phone, we'll be with him."

Leo grabs N and drags him away. N takes one last look at the closed door of May's bedroom before following.

*"May, you can fight this," the angel tells her.

"I don't think I can," she whimpers, "It'd be so much easier just to give in...."

"Don't," he orders, "I know your mother's blood is overpowering mine, but you can't give in. You can fight this."

"Oh Raphael, still trying to get her wings back I see," a high pitched voice says; May whirls and sees Camille and the demon woman, her biological mother.

"You have no right to be here," the angel, Raphael, growls angrily.

"Neither do you," Camille smirks.

"Be quiet Raina," Raphael hisses.

"Don't speak that way to my daughter Raphael," the demon woman hisses back.

"Daughter?" May whispers. The woman glances at her and sighs.

"Seriously, Raina, I cannot believe you've kept Mina in the dark for so long," she scolds Camille.

"I'm sorry Mother, but it's so fun toying with her and the boys."

"Mother?" May asks, confused, "What's going on?"

"Mina, meet your mother and your half-sister," Raphael sarcastically says, his wings fluttering in irritation.

"Camille is my sister?"

"The one and only," Camille smirks.

"I'm so confused!" May yells, "Why are all of you here? What the hell's going on?!"

"I'm here to help support you, my only daughter," Raphael says.

"So now I'm your daughter too?"

"I'm afraid I can't tell you more, Michael knows I'm gone," Raphael apologizes.

"Aw, the wittlest angel has to run back to his daddy!" Camille cackles.

May's blood boils as Raphael kisses her cheek. "Fight it my child," he whispers, "Fight the darkness. Light it up."

He is gone and her mother instantly pounces on her.

"What did he whisper in your ear?" she purrs, rubbing May's shoulders.

"Like I would tell you," May scoffs, shrugging the demon off. Her mother's eyes get streaks of red in them and she slaps May so hard she falls.

"Miserable wrench!" The woman shrieks, May rises and pushes her down.

"I am sick and tired of demons! Just freaking leave me alone!"

Camille grins, "The best part is mother, she doesn't know what she's doing right now."

"What?"

"You're trapped in this world between worlds while your demon half has fun."

Myung-soo thrown back into the stair railing. It breaks under his weight.

"May, you need to calm down," Sunggyu tries to soothe.

She glares at him, his eyes are black and full of malice. He couldn't die and had delt with demons before, but even he was terrified; how did Leo and the others deal with it?

"Why should I?" She scoffs, "I've been trapped in that goodie goodie two shoes' mind for centuries; Finally I want to do all the damage I can. Before she can force me back."

"What do you mean?" Sunggyu asks nervously.

"First, I want to feed off someone," she smirks, "Aren't you purely energy?"

He grabs the phone and presses 2 before she attacks him. She pins him to the ground and he feels exausted. He was about to pass out when she pulls away, pouting.

"You're not as good as N would be," she whines.

Myung-soo comes up behind her in a sneak attack, but she throws him back again. While she is distracted, he hits call on the phone. The manager picks up on the second ring.

"Hello?" He asks, but before Sunggyu can say anything, he is grabbed and thrown back into the wall. He struggles to rise while she picks up the phone.

"Hello Manager Park, it's May," she says sweetly, Sunggyu almost laughs at the performance, "Can you put one of the boys on the phone?" Pause, she slowly smiles, "N, I'm awake. And I'm hungry."
