PROLOGUE

Anika Patiño and Abigail Corpuz were both considered as very close friends of Fernando Alonso.

Abigail was considered by Fernando to be his sister from how long that they had known one another, and he was Anika's legal guardian so they always had a relationship similar to that of a father and daughter.

They were his biggest supporters and were loved by his team mates, friends and the other drivers in Formula One, well, the ones that they talked to anyway.

There were a couple of drivers however, that they always tended to avoid, due to their friendship, loyalty and love for Fernando because he either didn't like them, had history with them or he had just had a lot of arguments and disagreements with them so he would not be in any sort of a rush to talk to them or spend time with them.

Two of those were Esteban Ocon and Lewis Hamilton.

It wasn't that Anika hated Esteban, because she didn't, but he always loved to tease her about their height difference when they did talk to one another, and she hated that, so if she saw him, she would pretend like she hadn't and ignore him.

Abigail had been friends with Fernando long enough to know the original reason why her best friend didn't like Lewis and even though the Hamilton man had tried to make acquaintance or maybe even a friend of her, it had failed but he respected her loyalty to her best friend.

It was only when Fernando deliberately began to talk to the men in order for his girls to give the two drivers a chance, did they actually acknowledge that they had a lot in common with both Esteban and Lewis.

Their closest friends watched on with happiness when they were able to notice that their favorite girls were finally able to settle down and fall in love.

About damn time.
